Maison de montagne avec piscine privée d'eau salée sur plus de 6 hectares de forêt tropicale

Vous vous sentirez les bienvenus dans cette maison de vacances située en face de la forêt pluviale nationale d'El Yunque, sur plusieurs hectares de forêt tropicale humide. Accès privé fermé, sur une petite montagne à seulement 1 mile de PR3. Meublé pour le confort. Grand patio privé et piscine d'eau salée 10x20 '. Ce n'est pas un condo ou un appartement à l'étroit avec de nombreux voisins. Vous serez dans une jungle tropicale à flanc de montagne en toute sécurité, avec beaucoup d’espace pour explorer et apprécier!

La propriété est proche de la forêt nationale d'El Yunque, de la plage de Luquillo (Monserrate) (une des plus belles plages de l'île), de l'Hacienda Allegre, de Regis Bahia Beach Resort, Wyndham Rio Mar Resort et 20 miles de voie rapide à San Juan. 40 minutes à Ceiba pour les ferries à Culebra et Vieques. De nombreuses activités et restaurants sont facilement accessibles.

Chambres à coucher: pas de lits superposés!
Lit king dans la suite principale avec dressing et salle de bain séparée avec grande douche. La deuxième chambre offre une reine confortable et un nouveau futon pour les options de sommeil. La troisième chambre contient un lit queen de rêve. La deuxième salle de bains est au bout du couloir, près des chambres 2 et 3.
Un Pack N Play est disponible pour un bébé en voyage.

Beaucoup de draps, oreillers et serviettes (y compris les serviettes de plage) sont fournis.

La maison a accueilli de nombreux rassemblements avec les amis et la famille partageant la préparation des repas dans la cuisine ouverte avec grand îlot, attirant de nombreux invités vers le grand patio ou le garage à deux stalles ouvert par temps de pluie.

Les étages ouverts et spacieux sont situés sur un seul niveau, ce qui facilite les déplacements des personnes âgées ou des tout-petits. Pas d'étapes!

Si vous voulez rester là où vous avez toutes les commodités de la maison, tout en étant à proximité de nombreuses attractions que l'île a à offrir, veuillez envisager de réserver cette maison pour vos prochaines vacances.

Property was absolutely beautiful and the kids (8, 8, 11, 12 years) loved climbing on the rocks and exploring the beautiful trees! We were surprised that we were only on the bottom floor, with that said, we would absolutely come back and the kids have said this was the best house they've stayed at on vacation. The pool was right outside and was used often!! The views are amazing and you would not regret staying here!

La Lomita was exactly as depicted ! The communication with Kimberly was outstanding and better than any 5 star hotel. The lush foliage around the property made for a magical feel to the property and the pool was a lovely and unexpected bonus. The chalk board full of suggestions was so helpful and the towels were abundant and super plush. The kitchen had everything we needed and we especially loved the pets that would greet us in the morning. The coffee that was left for us to use was such a gift. The place was spotless. And the air conditioning worked so very well. Very easy to get to from the airport and the gate made us feel extra secure. Thanks so much for a great time!

We just completed our stay at this property, and it was our first trip to Puerto Rico. This property and home could not have been better for our family. We did a lot of driving here to Fajardo, Luquillo, Ceiba, Culebra, etc., and this was hands down the most beautiful property we saw all week. We were so grateful to return here after our adventures around the island, knowing the comforts and safety that awaited us. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Our mornings drinking coffee and tea around the gorgeous pool with a view and watching the sunrise will stay with us for a long time. Hector was kind, approachable, and helpful. It was great to know that he was close by for questions or concerns.We hiked the rainforest while here and I have to say that the beauty of this property and the wildlife sounds are just as wonderful. We appreciate the effort and care the owners have put into making this a magical experience for guests. We couldn’t recommend it more!

The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could imagine you would need and then some. It was breezy, airy and very comfortable. The pool gets sun most of the day and then when you probably have had too much sun it gets shady so you can still use it safely from the sun. We truly enjoyed the marvelous hostess Marsha-mellow "Daisy". She greated us daily with such enthusiasm and joy. She made sure we were having the best time. This stay was authentic Puerto Rico Rainforest style. Close to everything you would want to do. We would do this again in a second!

This was my sister’s and my first time in Puerto Rico. What an awesome experience/adventure it turned out to be. And finding this home was the icing on the cake. The sounds, the sights, pool, everything was fantastic. And Hector, the host who lives upstairs was so kind!!! Very helpful and accommodating, made us feel so welcome and not the least bit intrusive. In fact, with this place being so secluded, having him there gave us a sense of security. This is one place I would love to come back and visit again. Highly recommended.

Overall, the stay was great. It is a beautiful place. There was an issue when contractors showed up early in the morning and took over the pool area because the construction company made a scheduling mistake. But Hector immediately fixed the problem and got them out of the way. The two dogs and multiple cats are absolutely adorable. However, the dogs came inside and plopped onto the couch when we left the door to the pool area open and begged food, which didn't bother us too much. But it's something to consider if you have allergies or an aversion to animals. Our kids loved it, but some may not. The location is quiet and peaceful while still being super convenient.

Hosts were responsive and accommodating. One of the hosts is living in the 2nd floor so you get the feeling of having someone nearby to assist, but you feel privacy when you are there. The kitchen has many necessities including ground coffee. We loved the location, near most things in the east. Terrain is rough so have a vehicle with gusto and some good driving skills. Will likely stay here again when we come back to PR!

Hector grew up in the center of the island (Orocovis) and moved to Michigan in the 70's. Each vacation opportunity, we would return to the island to stay with family. In 2001, we had an opportunity to purchase a piece of land close to a niece's house that we always ended up staying with on vacation because of her great location to everything (and her great Puerto Rican cooking!). When Hector retired in 2010, he returned to his homeland to supervise the construction of this vacation home. In 2015 Hector and Kim moved to the island to manage the vacation rental house.

We chose this location because it is in close proximity to all the attractions and amenities of the big city of San Juan, the kid-friendly beach in Luquillo, and the ferries to neighboring islands Culebra and Vieques. Guests enjoy the privacy of the home and its surrounding tropical fruit trees, flowers, rocks, and palms. We are hybrid Tourists and Locals -- we want to see everything the island has to offer, but we don't want to pay the high costs associated with being a tourist, and we know THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO THE ISLAND THAN SAN JUAN!

The location of this home allows you to vacation comfortably with all the amenities of home. It is close enough to San Juan for an easy road trip, very close to Luquillo Beach, one of the best beaches on the island, and very close to the El Yunque National Forest. Move in for your vacation ... the house allows you to just relax, cook meals if you want, and spend quality time together. Excellent restaurants in close proximity and there is a book in the home containing our personal favorites and former guest recommendations. You can always feel free to ask us too!
