The home was charming and clean, was definitely in walking distance to many interesting sites. Free on street parking, quiet area. Great kitchen, lots of space for entertaining a bigger crowd (only 3 of us). Outside patio would had been awesome if weather was permitting. Cons. Although, we eventually figured it out-obtaining a shower that had hot water was a challenge and frustrating because it’s not a simple hot and cold dial - it’s playing with 2 levers for 2 shower heads that both run continuously and a dial with instructions for temperature that isn’t accurate. Running the water for a half an hour (because directions said “it takes a while be patient”) and it’s still freezing was quickly irritating my last nerve as we were tired. Response of the host was 2 hours later BUT it was also New Year’s Eve so she deserves slack there. We left this morning without showers because it’s that frustrating and a shower really shouldn’t be that hard. The evenings were cold so we set the thermostat for 67. The furnace works well
 so well we couldn’t sleep in beds because it’s 80 upstairs and 67 downstairs. So we bundled up and the 3 of us cuddled on the couch for 2 nights. Definitely not ideal, but we made it work.
Lots of room for entertaining.

Amazing! Our rental was clean, cozy and perfect for our family. It was a great location to downtown and easily accessible. We loved the clean and spacious kitchen, outdoor patio and the artwork throughout the home. It was perfect!

Positives:Great location to walk around both the north & south historic districts.Quiet and safe neighborhood.A large grocery store (Kroger) is a 5 minute walk from accommodation.Large rooms and plenty of space in which 4 adults can be comfortable.Had parking for 2 automobiles right outside the front door.Early checkin was provided upon request.Negatives:The water pressure in the shower was very weak. So much so that my wife & daughters could not shampoo their hair .Some of the light fixtures did not function either due to burnt out bulbs or defective switches. I located spare bulbs in a kitchen drawer and attempted replacement but was unsuccessful. I would have expected the housekeeping service provider would have checked all fixtures to ensure they operate.Considerable temperature difference (approx 5-7 degrees) between main level and upper level. The HVAC controller was in the hallway of the main level. I operated the ceiling fan on the upper level to attempt to circulate the air but this was not sufficient. Perhaps the HVAC fan requires adjustment ( no apparent option on wall controller ) or the filters require replacement.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Extra blankets and towels available. Stocked pantry also! Lots of room. Ac worked great also. The bathroom shower was a bit tricky. Tip, hot water at the 9:00 position of a clock (turn clockwise).

The location was quiet and on street parking was convenient. The place was immaculate. The kitchen was very modern and well equipped. The rest of the house had that nostalgic old home feeling. Very charming. It was very hot while we were there and it took the a/c a full day to cool the upstairs bedrooms. But a large, tall oscillating fan was provided so we were fine. My only negative, though minor, the coffee pot was lame. Bring your own standard coffee, not Kuerig. As others have mentioned, the shower is a pain. We finally figured it out however, the water pressure is very low and it takes a long time to heat up. I don’t show anyone with long hair would ever be able to wash their hair. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends and family.

Not great

We had no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen & no soap was provided. The kitchen is gorgeous but the patio furniture was dirty & the area looked like it hadn't been swept in ages, lots of leaves & debris. The house itself needs some carpeting but the artwork is lovely. The location was quite a walk to the river walk & restaurants. We had just come from a perfect home in Charleston so perhaps we were a bit spoiled.

Beautiful property, fantastic location

This place is absolutely gorgeous, from the beautiful hardwood floors to the large, well-appointed kitchen, the pictures don't do it full justice.The backyard space is also nice and a great place to relax. We enjoyed sitting there in the mornings, while the day was still cool, having coffee. After things heat up, the cooling system kept the house at a pleasant temperature day and night. The entire property was far more than we expected.The location here is super as well. You're close to Forsyth Park, and pretty much everything else historic Savannah has to offer. We had a car, but walked just about everywhere, the location is so convenient. Highly recommend this property and would stay again on a return visit.

There’s always something!!!!!

Excellent. What could improve beyond excellent? 1. Having tissues available 2. Cleaning the beautiful back courtyard so we could have enjoyed the morning birds with coffee 3. Communicate in advance that there are instructions for the shower framed on the bathroom wall maybe add to WiFi instructions

Charming house

Charming, roomy house in a great location to walk around the city. Large rooms, very pretty kitchen. The back courtyard was full of tree debris when we were there so we didn’t sit out but it was very cute!

Great stay

Lovely house in charming Savannah. Everything we needed - plenty of space and all the amenities. We walked everywhere - saw all the squares in Savannah. And awesome to have our own patio after all that walking. We had one small issue and Patricia was responsive and tending to it immediately.

Springtime in Savannah

The location was great because we enjoyed walking through the beautiful gardens. The home was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and towels nice. We had a little difficulty getting the shower to work but once we figured out the process it worked well. We had trouble opening the door but here again once we figured the process it worked. Bring your own coffee and creamer. If you want to cook dinner in this unit, I think you could do it without much difficulty. Here again - well appointed. Had dinner at Common Thread. - hands down our best dinner in Savannah. Good day trips to Tybee Island, Hilton Head and Wormsloe Park - all excellent.

Everything We Hoped For

This property delivered in every way. First and foremost, it is a really nice home with plenty of room for two couples. It is well decorated, has all the amenities we needed, and is conveniently located within walking distance of almost everywhere we wanted to go during our weeklong stay. For the few times we drove (day trip to Charleston, Wormsloe, Bonaventure Cemetery, Tybee Island, etc.), it was nice knowing we could park right in front of the house in a safe neighborhood. Our host, Patricia, was very responsive and answered all our questions. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to stay here again.

Lovely rowhouse in perfect location

I was pleasantly surprised at the size, comfort and location of the property. The rooms were all spacious and decorated with beautiful abstract artworks. Though located only a few blocks from Forsyth Park, the neighborhood was quiet and parking was very easy. The property is situated in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality pans, etc. The property manager was extremely responsive. The property could use updating especially in it's heating/ac system, thermostat and shower. The shower, like Savannah in general, has poor water pressure but it took way too long to heat up. Overall, despite these glitches, it was a wonderful experience and I recommend 440 Lincoln.

Stay in Savannah

The house was in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Property manager was very responsive when we had issues with the hot water and had it repaired quickly. Perfect affordable spot to stay while visiting Savannah!

Perfect Thanksgiving holiday!

We stayed at this property for the Thanksgiving holiday and it was wonderful! The property is even more beautiful in person. We had plenty of space for 3 adults. We loved that so many restaurants, shops, and parks were within walking distance. Check in/out process and Wi-Fi access was seamless. Highly recommend staying here!
