Le hangar d'avion a tourné Lofts!

Si vous avez une passion pour le design, bien que: moderne. Minimaliste. À mi-siècle ou Mies (comme dans Van der Rohe), venez explorer l'architecture avec nous alors que vous faites votre décent initial dans un monde d'émerveillement industriel et aérien au Hangar Lofts Hotel. Anciennement des hangars d'avion desservant l'aéroport du centre-ville de Columbia, maintenant des lofts haut de gamme énigmatiques spécialement décrits sur HGTV et situés à une simple piste du centre-ville émergent de Columbia.

Chaque Hangar a sa propre approche sophistiquée du style, offrant une atmosphère de plafond haut qui vous dépose profondément sur le côté bien accueilli du seuil. L'attitude de chaque espace s'étend au spectre de la conception en passant par Le Corbusier, Joseph Eichler, Herman Miller, Louis Poulsen et Mies.

L'attelage est verrouillé, les volets descendent, puis un court taxi à travers la terre tarmac vous dans l'un de nos Hangar Lofts de 1.200 pieds carrés pour une soirée à embrasser. Nos lofts ont tous les cadrans et les jauges que vous attendez dans un paysage urbain émergent, allant des murs de briques exposés, des poutres en acier structurel, des sols en béton et des comptoirs à des fenêtres en verre de grande taille à usage commercial pour le spectacle de patio privé. Les armoires personnalisées de bouleau baltique encadrent la cuisine moderne, contenant la beauté douce des appareils Bosch inoxydables. Les plafonds de 17 pieds de haut sont accentués avec des conduits en spirale en aluminium exposés en toile de fond à un plafond en panneaux à languettes et rainures à finition claire. Ces lofts contiennent également beaucoup d'éclairage intime adapté à votre soirée parfaite.

Après avoir rincé vos déplacements dans nos douches personnalisées inspirées du spa, vous découvrirez des atterrissages 5 étoiles sur nos matelas à la menthe et aiguilles à flot de lits de plate-forme fabriqués localement, prodigués avec suffisamment de gooses et de fil de fil pour vous envoyer en profondeur sur votre compte de voyage mouton. Roule le matin avec une tasse chaude de Starbucks et c'est Bon voyage!

I have stayed here before, it is a cool getaway that offers a unique stay at reasonable rates. I will absolutely stay again.

I would give this a zero if possible! We have stayed here twice before and loved it. However, I booked this well in advance to attend our daughter’s USC sorority parents weekend. Unfortunately, a rare winter storm was expected and the university cancelled 2 days prior and rescheduled for the following weekend. I contacted the host immediately 48 hours in advance and simply asked due to the circumstances could we please just transfer our stay to the following weekend since it was available. The host replied back that it was too late and he would not help and kept our money for the stay. I did not in any way ask for a refund but just to simply move our reservation to the following weekend. He would not work with us or even respond to anymore messages. I have rented places through VRBO for 2 decades and I have never had a host so unwilling to compromise or work with me! I have recommended this rental in Columbia to multiple people and I can guarantee the host has not only lost my business in the future, but also all of the others that have stayed there because of my referral! Unacceptable customer service especially when the circumstances were completely out of our control!

Good for a getaway but not as much for a long stay

The loft was unique and fun place to stay; very clean and appeared new. However, we intended to make a few meals, eat in, and have a home cooked meal for my son. There is no vent above the stove which we were warned can set the fire alarm off if cooking something like bacon- this happened in another unit and we had to evacuate. I planned to make a simple meal but there are very few kitchen amenities- very few plates/ glasses; limited pans; no dish towels or pot holders. We also only received 2 towels and while we were only there for the weekend having a few extra would be nice. So if you are looking for a quick stay it fits the bill but if you want any extras you won’t find them here.

Attractive and comfortable space with some drawbacks

The hangar loft is industrial-chic space with high ceilings and lots of air. The comfortable couches in both rooms were great during down times after exploring the Columbia area. The kitchen has a fantastic refrigerator and dishwasher and plenty of counter space. There are shelves for your clothing and shoes in the area adjacent to the bathroom, and there’s also hanging space but only three hangers. In fact, what’s in the apartment is pretty uniformly terrific, but what’s not there is a problem. There’s no toaster, no mixing/salad bowl, no pot holders, no napkins, and no roasting/baking pans despite the more than adequate oven. I left some disposable ones I bought, so the next renter will have them. Fortunately, I travel with many of the other things myself (but not with a toaster!). In the bathroom, the large walk-in shower has great water pressure but has three unlabeled dispensers with no place for your own soap, shampoo, conditioner and so forth. The sink area has inadequate space for your toiletries, and the bathroom doors slide shut in an inconvenient fashion. Still, the space as a whole is attractive, conveniently located to downtown and the university area, and Joab is quick to respond to requests and questions.

Great getaway

Close to some cool spots. Easy check in and parking next to unit. Really nice layout and set up of converted space. Could use a better cleaner (don’t forget the fans) but would def stay there again!

Enjoy the edge.

The owners have created an architecturally unique experience that feeds ones desire for something different. The outside private patio, the platform bed, the shower all please and surprise at the same time. The toilet and sink in the bathroom just surprise. The lighting is creative and demands maintenance and care that might be a challenge to maintain. When fully functional just turning on light switches is an entertaining adventure. Enjoy the edge don’t fight it and it will be a great place to spend a few days around events at the nearby University .

Such a cool place!

I really enjoyed the vibe and decor. It really is a neat concept for the hangar loft. However, the modern bathroom needs more lighting if you are a female who uses makeup, and the cool sink does not give much "vanity" room. Kitchen amenities were nice and well appointed, and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. The owner was very nice and accommodating when we reached out for information or had questions.
