À deux pas du Forum Romain et du Colisée, ce charmant appartement est un petit refuge plein de charme, plongé dans l’histoire. Parfait pour 2 personnes (mais pouvant en accueillir jusqu’à 4), il représente l’équilibre idéal entre ancien et moderne : plafonds bas avec poutres en bois d’origine, murs du XVIᵉ siècle et mobilier signé par de grands designers créent une atmosphère chaleureuse et raffinée, où chaque détail raconte un morceau de l’histoire de Rome.
L’appartement se trouve au cœur du Rione Monti, le quartier le plus ancien et le plus authentique de la ville. Ici, on respire la véritable âme romaine, entre ruelles pittoresques, ateliers d’artisans, restaurants, tavernes, bars, galeries d’art, boutiques vintage et d’antiquités. C’est un lieu plein de vie et d’histoire : c’est ici même que naquit Jules César en 100 av. J.-C. et que s’alluma le grand incendie de Néron en 64 apr. J.-C. — préparez-vous à dormir entouré des témoins millénaires de la ville éternelle.
Situé au rez-de-chaussée surélevé, l’appartement se compose d’une chambre double, d’un salon avec canapé-lit (utilisable, moyennant un petit supplément, comme lit supplémentaire pour deux personnes ou pour dormir séparément) et d’une salle de bain avec douche. À l’intérieur, vous trouverez tout ce qu’il faut pour vous sentir comme chez vous : climatisation et chauffage indépendants, smart TV, lave-linge et sèche-linge, fer et planche à repasser, guides touristiques et cartes.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was quiet and a little dark, which was great for sleeping. Very clean and excellent location. They accommodated our late arrival, for which we were thankful. If you are over 5'10" you will have to watch your head in the doorways.

Our stay was in May 2026 for 2 adults. The property was wonderful. The mix of old construction (wood beams and brick) mixed with newer renovations (furnishing, paints, fixtures, etc.) was perfect. Location was excellent; 10min walk to Colosseo, Foro Romano and Vittorio Emanuele, 5 min walk to Cavour train station and one stop to Termini for other sites. We even walked back from the Vatican (50 min). The apartment is surrounded by restaurants and bars. Owners were very responsive to questions and met us at the apartment to check in. Probably the best VRBO we've stayed at. We would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Rome. The location was perfect- just a few minutes walk from the Colosseum and within walking distance or a short cab ride away from the rest of Romes attractions. There were several nice restaurants right near the apartment. I loved the vibe of the area. The apartment was well stocked. The host even provided some drinks, snacks and a few items available to cook. The apartment was historic but had all the modern amenities from the kitchen appliances, great air conditioning, and washer/dryer which is rare for Italian rentals the hosts were extremely responsive via WhatsApp when we had questions or needed anything. You will not regret booking this apartment.

Perfection in Rome (Monti)I can't imagine a better place to stay! The apartment had everything we could possibly want..............A comfortable living area, fully stocked kitchen, clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. It is in the Monti district, the oldest in Rome to my understanding. The building itself is 17th century and is reflected in the apartment's exposed brick wall and beamed ceiling. One word of warning, if you are super tall, you may have to duck down! The pictures shown in the listing are an accurate representation.We found the narrow, cobbled streets of the neighborhood really charming. Mid-evening you may hear a bit of chatter if you are in the living room area of the apartment, however, it is nothing disruptive. When in the bedroom, it was perfectly quiet each of the four nights we stayed.You are only steps away from great food, one literally right across the street. Five minute walk to the Colosseum, which we visited often for the amazing historical view.Communication with the host was superb! She even helped arranged our airport and cruise port transportation.I'm probably forgetting to mention other great amenities, so let me just say "book this apartment! You won't regret it!:.
