A propos de l'appartement:
Raffaello Inn est situé dans une position privilégiée dans le centre historique de Rome, dans une rue calme "via Santo Stefano del Cacco, 19" à seulement 5 minutes à pied du Panthéon, de la Piazza Navona, de la Piazza Venezia, de la Place d'Espagne, du Colisée. C'est un appartement jusqu'à 4 personnes, idéal pour un couple ou une famille.
Il se compose d'un salon avec coin cuisine, d'une chambre avec salle de bains privative. Les poutres apparentes au plafond, le parquet et le mobilier classique du XIXe siĂšcle donnent une atmosphĂšre romantique.

L'entrée mÚne au salon-salle à manger avec un coin cuisine avec canapé-lit, table à manger et Led Smart TV 42 '' avec NETFLIX.
Le coin cuisine est équipé d'un micro-ondes avec fonctions grill, réfrigérateur, machine à expresso, plaques électriques, bouilloire et pain grillé.
La chambre donne sur la rue silencieuse et calme. Les caractéristiques sont un lit king size, 2 tables de nuit, 1 armoire, Smart TV 32 '' avec NETFLIX, avec coffre-fort et une salle de bain privée.
La salle de bain est dans la chambre et est équipée d'une baignoire avec douche, bidet, lave-linge et sÚche-cheveux.
L'appartement est également équipé de chauffage, climatisation et connexion Internet WI FI rapide.
Pour les enfants de moins de 3 ans, nous proposons sur demande un lit bébé avec matelas, coussin et couverture.

L'appartement est dans un immeuble privé du 1500e siÚcle au premier étage et il est accessible par ascenseur ou par des escaliers

Pigna est le nom de rione IX de Rome, situé dans la Municipio I de la ville. Le nom signifie "pomme de pin" en italien, et le symbole de la rione est la pomme de pin colossale en bronze, la Pigna.
La pomme de pin géante en bronze (Pigna) a autrefois décoré une fontaine de la Rome antique à cÎté d'un vaste temple d'Isis. Là, l'eau coulait copieusement du haut de la pomme de pin.
Histoire

Le Pigna a d'abord Ă©tĂ© dĂ©placĂ© dans l'ancienne basilique Saint-Pierre, oĂč Dante l'a vu et utilisĂ© dans la Divina Commedia pour comparer les proportions gĂ©antes du visage de Nimrod.
Au 15Úme siÚcle, il a été déplacé vers son emplacement actuel, l'extrémité supérieure du Cortile del Belvedere de Bramante, qui est maintenant généralement appelé en son honneur le Cortile della Pigna, reliant le Vatican et le Palazzo del Belvedere. Il se trouve aujourd'hui sous la vaste niche de Pirro Ligorio au fond, flanqué d'une paire de paons en bronze romains apportés du mausolée d'Hadrien, le Castel Sant'Angelo.

Feel that photos need to be updated, obviously the photos were taken a very long time ago. The lounge was dirty and very uncomfortable. Said there was Netflix had to use your own login and it still wouldn’t connect. There was no hand soap at the basin and the only roll of toilet paper was the one on the toilet roll holder and we were there for 3 days. Was in a great location. We understand it’s a very old building, but didn’t live up to the photos at all. Maybe we were spoilt by the places we stayed in Naples and Sorrento.

3 days in Rome July 2025

Charming apartment perfectly located in the center of Rome. All major attractions within 20 minutes walking, most within 10 minutes. Taxi required for Vatican only (or a 40 minute walk). Host arranged our seamless transfer from airport and is quick to respond to all inquiries and very helpful. My family very much enjoyed our stay here.

The location of the site is amazing. Perfectly located close to many attractions, especially the Parthenon. Unfortunately, during our three night stay in July, the air conditioning did not work. While the host did try to address the issue while we were there, we ended up trying to sleep there for three very hot nights. Also, please note, even after you pay VRBO for the stay, there is still a city tax you will need to pay the host after your stay. Despite all this, my wife an I had a wonderful time visiting Rome.

Perfect Spot for a Quick Stay in Rome

We stayed just one night and had a great experience. The apartment was clean, pretty, and exactly as described. The location was excellent—central and easy to access. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was simple. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in the city!

A comfortable gem of an apartment just a short walk from major areas

Apartment is in an excellent location and has a huge deadbolt on the door to make you feel extra safe. There is a washing machine and drying rack too for small loads. The host communicates exceptionally well. Very easy process and we were very comfortable later at night walking around. There is a convenient store with food and dry goods 200 steps away which is a huge benefit for waters and snacks.I will absolutely stay again when we decide to revisit Rome!!!

This apartment is in a great location, but it needs a lot of work. The laminate floor is peeling, the kitchen sink is cracked and stained, and the walls are spattered with stains. The lighting is poor, and the furniture is tired. The bed is fine, the water pressure is good, and the hot water was plentiful, but we were paying nearly 300 per night, and we expected the apartment to look like the photos - crisp, clean, and worth the price being charged. The building is quite old and very dirty. We travel a lot, and this was one of the worst apartments we have stayed in.

Rome

Our host was not there when we arrived. But after contacting her, she opened the door remotely and sent a video to how to access the apartment. The apartment was clean, but very small for a party of four. But we knew that going in we made the most of it and it worked out very well. Loved the location. Everything was within easy walking distance. Give us a great opportunity to see Central with no problems.

Perfect time to be in Rome, beautiful weather. Host was wonderful, apartment very clean. Suggest extra towels. Kind gentleman around the corner who we were able to leave our luggage with for a few hours.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights! Apartment was very clean and in the perfect location! We could walk to almost everywhere! Wonderful restaurants near by and only a couple minute walk to a taxi if needed. Mariano was very welcoming and communicated well with us leading up to and during our stay!

Cozy apartment close to everything

We stayed one week. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well in the bedroom as it was in the 90’s the week we were there. The apartment is a short walk to the Pantheon. There are several close grocery stores. We didn’t cook but had breakfast and wine and cheese in the apartment. The kitchen is in a cabinet so not too much room but fine for our needs. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby.

Wonderful Apartment in the Heart of Rome

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. Our host, Mariano, started communicating with us several days before we arrived to make sure we were all set for the stay. He met us at the property and gave us a detailed explanation of everything we needed to know for the property and the general area of the city. The apartment was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our 3 day stay and was a nice size for our family of 3. It’s located on a quaint street just a 5-10 minute walk from the Pantheon. We also were able to walk to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trastevere, and the Vatican. We didn’t use public transportation, but walked by both taxi stands and bus stops close to the apartment. There’s a supermarket conveniently located less than a block away and too many good restaurants and cafes to count in the area. The surrounding area was safe to explore and lively both during the day and in the evening. We would recommend the apartment to anyone traveling to Rome.

Amazing stay in Rome's Historic Center

I LOVED my stay at the Raffaello Inn during the first week of June. The front of the building, with its flowering ivy, looks like something from a fairy tale. The apartment in the 500-year-old building is comfortable, clean, and charming! Mariano greeted me when I arrived and gave me a thorough tour of the apartment, as well as tips on where to eat in the neighborhood. He was so friendly, funny, and welcoming! This location is fantastic—right near all the top sights. The next street over, there is a supermarket. I was able to save so much by getting a few groceries in and eating a few meals at "home," a cafe within a two-minute walk.

Great apartment in a great location!!

My wife and I made our first visit to Rome prior to a cruise of the mediterranean. This apartment is located in a great area near restaurants cafe’s and walking distance to several historic sites. The apartment is well stocked wit everything you need and the owner was very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend to this apartment to any couple wanting to visit Rome and be in a great location.

Quaint

The apartment was just as decribed, very lovely. Mariano was so easy to work with. He met us at the property and gave us a wonderful overview of the city. The location was nice. It was walking distance to most attractions. We took a cab to the colleseum and to Vatican City. If you prefer to stay in the middle of the action, you need to change locations. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the airconditioner (until June, we visited in May) due to the company in the area. Because we had to keep the windows open, there was much noise from traffic, sirens and a particular bird that kept making sounds all night long. My husband named it Doe-doe bird! People sometimes walk and talk in front of the property. Overall impression was good!! Thank you Mariano for everything!

Comfy stay close to Pantheon and Trevi Fountain

This was our first time in Rome. Neri met us to take luggage to store until check in and directed us to a very nice restaurant steps away. The bed is comfortable and the Nespresso machine for morning espresso is a fun touch! The hosts were very communicative. A lovely stay in Roma!

Serenity in the City

The Raffello Inn is a charmingly decorated apartment in the perfect location. We could easily walk to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, St. Peter’s and Trvi Fountain. Our hostess Neri was very gracious and responsive to our needs. She arranged a driver to take us to the airport after 4 glorious days in a well-appointed , quiet air-conditioned apartment. I will definitely recommend to family and friends staying in Rome.

Location, Location, Location

Centrally located to all of the major sites in Rome! We were within walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, Roman Forum, Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Vatican City and the Trastevere area known for their restaurants. But first... Neri was the best host! She was very accommodating to our schedule. We had previously booked tours that did not coincide with check in times and she worked with us to drop off our luggage at a time that worked with our schedule. Mariano met us at the apartment and he couldn't have been more accommodating... Making sure we knew where everything was, showing us all of the amenities of the apartment, how to use the keys / apartment access, and even made some great restaurant suggestions in Campo di Fiore! Overall a great experience, cute apartment, and perfect location. we will definitely be reaching out to Neri next time we come to Rome!
