Meravigliosa villa di recente costruzione con architetture e design moderno. Villa Carmela si trova a Fiumefreddo Di Sicilia, comune alle pendici dell'Etna, a pochi chilometri dal mare e da Taormina. La proprietà si sviluppa su un unico piano circondata da un ampia corte e giardino con piscina. All'interno un grande living con cucina, zona pranzo e bagno di servizio. La casa dispone di 6 lussuose camere da letto ciascuno con bagno privato. Location ideale per chi cerca un rifugio da vivere con la famiglia o con gruppo di amici e per chi vuole scoprire la Sicilia orientale. A pochi chilometri potrete visitare l'Etna, Taormina, Castelmola, l'Isola Bella, le Gole Alcantara Acitrezza, Acicastello. dal casello autostradale che si trova a e a soli 5 minuti, si raggiungono facilmente Catania, Siracusa, Ragusa, le isole Eolie e tutte le altre meraviglie che la nostra isola propone.

Great location. Fiumefreddo is a very friendly town. Found a local wine store and grocery within a few blocks of the villa. Grounds of the villa are immaculate. Although in the center city you feel like you are in the country. Our 12 friends did nothing but rave about the Villa.

Overall a nice property for a large group. Plenty of beds and bathrooms were all on suite plus an additional one in the laundry area. The living room and open kitchen could have been larger considering the number of people the house can accommodate.

Perfect stay with family

This is a really great villa. The house is big and each room is en-suite with a good hot shower and plenty of towels. Beautiful grounds, a lovely pool and super friendly hosts that are easy to communicate with and help with any excursions and things you want to do. We had an excellent evening with a chef and waiter that was unforgettable. They also helped us book an excellent wine tour. The location is good for touring the eastern side of Sicily and there is plenty of off street parking. Overall it was perfect for a good group.

Fabulous Family Reunion!

Beautiful property in a small city. This is not the place if you’re looking for night life. It was perfect for our family. We planned daily trips but came back to the property and relaxed. Walked to local restaurants. Checkin and check out process was effortless. I highly recommend.

Lovely modern Villa

Villa Carmela is a lovely modern villa in a charming if slightly scruffy but totally authentic Sicilian town. The accommodation is first class. Large rooms with modern showers and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Lots of seating options inside and out. The pool area is beautiful and has a view of etna. Entrance is through a private electric gate and there is plenty of parking. There are lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance which was very appreciated by the group. The town is also very friendly and reasonably priced.

Beautiful villa, pool and garden

Spacious, clean villa with beautiful garden and pool. The town is authentic, non-touristy with a good selection of restaurants, shops and supermarkets and close to a good beach. We were a family of 12 including 4 children & would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. For extra comfort & practicality we would suggest a few more tea towels are provided plus something to put the suitcases on and more clothes storage space. However it was wonderful to have a washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning and a BBQ & outdoor dining area. Also the views of Mount Etna are stunning!

Stay at Fiumefreddo in Sicily

This property has many pluses. The most attractive part of this villa is its grounds - with a beautiful and fragrant jasmine hedge that greeted you, an inviting pool and patio for al fresco dining. Indoors, the villa is spacious and bright. Loved the fact that each room opens up to the patio and has an en suite bathroom. However, it seems that the indoors is a work-in-progress. The rooms had temporary clothes hanger rather than armoire/closets or chests. Bathrooms could also use some drawers for storage and hooks for hanging towels, clothes. Kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The property managers and owners were very responsive to our needs. The property manager's recommendation for the car service (Dream Service) was excellent. There is a mini market conveniently located within 2 minutes of the villa. All in all, we would highly recommend this property.

This villa was definitely not what we expected it to be. It was not as portrayed in the listing. It was clean although they have a problem with ants in the bedrooms.Bedrooms are poorly equipped. No proper storage for clothes. Bedrooms were large and had plenty of room for a dresser, a chair to sit and a desk or table but there was nothing. Felt like a university dorm room. No blankets on the beds. Waited 2 days for blankets. That is unacceptable. Management company clearly not doing its job. Very sparse on furniture. Bare walls, no artwork. Felt very unfinished. Washing machine but no dryer. Management company gave mixed messages about drinkable water. No ice maker in fridge. No machine to make a pot of coffee for large group. Only a single pod machine. Definitely not equipped efficiently for large groups despite having 6 bedrooms. BBQ was a joke. No information provided about amenities close by such as groceries, good local restaurants. All would have been helpful. Location is isolated and quiet. Great view of Etna. We felt we paid for a 4 star property but it was only a 2 star! I was very disappointed and felt tricked by the pictures in the booking listing.

I was initially shocked to see your rating, but then I saw your name and, although I was disappointed, I smiled. First of all, I'd like to say that yours is the first negative review out of hundreds I've received in recent years. The only thing I can agree with is the lack of extra furnishings in the bedrooms. Regarding the blankets, we're in Sicily and it was still hot. The next day (not after two days), we brought them only to discover that your air conditioning was set to 17 degrees Celsius. So, you're asking for a blanket to keep the air conditioning at a very low temperature?! The coffee machine is optional (and the coffee is free), but despite that, we brought you a second coffee machine. No host would have done that, so I wonder what you're complaining about. As for the rest, I won't even comment. Good luck with your next hosts. Giovanni

Amazing stay

We had an Amazing stay at this house which is very beautiful. It was better than we expected. The house is perfect and the garden also with a great swimming pool. Everything was made for us to spend good holidays. The owner and Davide were really nice and were always happy to help us in anyway and anytime. If we come back to Sicily, we will definitely come back to this place !! Thank you for everything !!!

Fantastic villa with great hosts. The cloistered property is very well renovated and maintained with 6 bedrooms and en-suite bathroom. The pool and outdoor dining area are quintessential Sicily. Our hosts were very responsive to all our queries, within minutes. They went above and beyond to organize a tour of Etna with Etna Wild (highly recommended). This was a great start to our Italian vacation.
