A lovely stay in the countryside

We loved sitting outside under the trees at any time of the day. The outside space and the view are wonderful. It was peaceful, relaxing and we saw hares, squirrels, deer and buzzards. Thank you for the welcome pack and for your hospitality

Comfortable stay in cosy and well appointed Pods.

Loved the location of the Pods under the trees, with a sublime view across the valley. We could sit out and enjoy sundowners and al fresco dining. The accommodation was cosy, with everything that we needed, hot showers, a flushing toilet and a kettle. What more could we ask for!

The atmosphere in the cottage was great. For tall people, the double bed may be a bit cramped.

Perfect

Pods are lovely, comfortable and very clean. Views amazing. The location was brilliant for us, having family close by. Sophia was the perfect host, friendly, and approachable, but not pushy. We would love to come back sometime.

Great stay at the pods!

The pods were cosy and comfortable in a great location, very accessible for Bath. The host Sophia was very helpful! We had a lovely break so thank you! The main pod is perfect for a couple! Our children are young & the second pod is more suitable for older children/teenagers.

Last minute stays at the Pods.

We had a last minute few days away in the pods. They were well equipped in beautiful surroundings with lots of things to do a short drive away. The pods were lovely and exceeded our hopes, even having bread, butter, jam, tea and coffee on arrival. You really need to drive to be able to visit here.

We had a really lovely stay at the pods.

Beautifully clean and cosy with amazing views across the valley. Would be lovely to sit outside and have a barbecue in the spring/summer. Was a bit chilly to do that this time. Would recommend taking binoculars if interested in watching the bird life! Really appreciated the welcome pack with cake! Great hosts, very welcoming and friendly.

A wonderful place to spend time away from the whole city's surmity. I really liked ours.

The summer there I think it would be better but the time of the suo was fine. It didn't take long for everything to be taken care of

Great little find

Great host, ideal location, fabulous views. Lovely little pods and plenty of outdoor space. Having the second pod for our daughter worked perfectly for us. Would come again. Best to come in summer when you can take advantage of the outdoor space, as the living and kitchen spaces within the pods are limited.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for the feedback. Just to let you know the owners have purchased a gazebo and set it up in a sheltered wooded glade less than 20 metres from the pods. Here guests can sit outside together, protected from the elements. There is also a cast iron brazier for them to BBQ if they choose.

Highly recommend!

Sophia and Richard are fantastic hosts. The pods are in a beautiful setting overlooking the Somerset countryside with great access to Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. Inside the pods are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend staying here especially given the views, bbq terrace and comfy relaxing outdoor chairs. The swing ball was fun too! A special place to relax and unwind -

We had a wonderful week in the pods.

Ideally located we were able to do many visits nearby and what a corner of paradise! We saw deer and hares every evening and had a visit from a pheasant and a squirrel. Sophia was very welcoming. She had provided a delicious breakfast basket and as it was very hot she had also provided ice creams for our children. She even installed a swimming pool for them which was very much appreciated!

Our stay in the Pods was absolutely amazing - in all aspects.

Sophia arragend a warm welcome - there even was cake! The location and view outside the pods was absolutely stunning - England scenery at its best! The pods itself was not only super clean from top to bottom but also the coziest place. The kitchen was very well equipped! On top of all that, there were barbecue facilities outdoor which made our stay perfect. There is also a well equipped laundry room with an ironing board, which we were allowed to use. I would recommend the Pods to anyone who want to have a great relaxing escape near the fabulous city of Bath.

A great place to escape the hustle and bustle!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the pods. Well-appointed kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and lovely views over local farmland: it is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle. They are really well located, close to some great walks and fabulous pubs and only about 20 mins from Bath. There was real attention to detail from table cloths with clips to stop them flapping in the breeze, seat cushions for the outside table, a portable clothes line for those emergency washing moments, BBQ coals to get us going, to a welcome pack of quality tea, coffee, milk, bread and homemade jam. Sophia and Richard were really welcoming as well and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. -

A super place for a peaceful break in the countryside

I was not quite sure what to expect, as pods were a new thing for us. Chosen mainly for being a convenient location for our stay, and because something different appealed, the pods turned out to be an excellent choice. Quite small but not too small, and very cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. Everything was very clean, with lovely decor, nicely equipped kitchenette, and a good sized modern bathroom. Very friendly owner who made a point of being there to welcome us and show us around. Nice outside area with seating, a nice view over the fields, and BBQ facilities, although the weather - autumn gales and rain for much of out time - wasn&#39t conducive to taking full advantage! Overall, a super place for a peaceful break in the countryside, conveniently close to places such as Bath.

The hosts were lovely. Offered their telephone numbers for any issues

It is in the grounds of a house, overlooking the village. It had enough room for four adults. We used the hot water, kettle and fridge. We didn’t cook but we were only there two nights and one was at a wedding. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was roomy given the fact it is a pod. I would suggest that people pull the blind down on the front door at night as the outside light shines through if not. I didn’t take any pictures but it looks as described on the photos shown on this website. I would have liked a door to the bedroom but that is being extremely picky. It would have to be a sliding door for size purposes so I see why there isn’t one. See point above about the blind on the front door. The light outside comes on with a sensor and outside elements kept setting it off. The blind down was a solution to this. I had originally left this up for those in the sleeping pod in case they needed to go to the loo in the night.
