Chaste lounges on deck were very uncomfortable. Perhaps, a sun shade to roll up or down. Enjoyed the place.

We love Puamana and this unit was wonderful to stay at. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Sitting outside by the ocean every morning and evening was the best!

This property is exactly as stated and a peaceful oasis. We enjoyed it being a gated property so the beach wasn't busy. The kitchen had what was needed to cook a few meals, we very much enjoyed the lanai, and loved having the ocean right out the sliding glass door. We will stay here again when we return, if able. Highly recommend.

Wonderful from top to bottom! Beautiful property and unit. Spacious and modern and clean. Top notch all the way. Wonderful views, incredible sunsets. Simply the best. We will definitely be back ASAP! Convenient location. Close to shopping and all the basics. Short drive north to the luxury resorts just up from Lahaina. Glad we could visit there but also glad we weren't staying among the crowds. Easy check-in and check-out. I can't think of a thing to say that needs improvement. They make this clear but just to emphasize: you aren't allowed just to walk straight down to the beach. You have to walk north just up the road less than 1/4 of a mile to find the legal beach access path. Oh, and we saw many sea turtles while lounging on the lanai and a napping Monk Seal just up by the Ocean Pool. Incredible!!

Super easy and organized check in. The condo and property were as described and the beds were great. We were very happy and would stay again. The cooking tools and staples left in the kitchen were basic/adequate so plan on buying anything that needs more than salt/pepper.I can’t give five stars because of a few maintenance issues.

We felt so comfortable and at home as soon as we arrived. The views are amazing, from the beautiful sunsets to watching the sea turtles from the lanai. The beach is literally steps away from the downstairs patio due to beach erosion, however, beach access is only a short walk away. We would love to come back and stay here again.

As Close As You Can Get

The house was perfect for our needs. Space to spread out our things in the second bedroom and a great kitchen set up. We saw whales every day from our lanai and breakfast table. Loved being able to run and walk in a low speed traffic area. Great centralized location for lots of snorkeling spots.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Puamana before and love the location - we weren't sure what to expect after the fires but it was lovely as usual. Sad to see the destruction and we tried to be minidful of supporting local businesses while on the island. Back to this place - it was great for us. It is the very last building, closer to the road, but the road noise did not bother us. Stunning view from the 2nd floor off the main bedroom. The view from the lanai is amazing too, although there is some fencing to keep privacy and security (but not really an issue).Beds were super comfy, place was very updated (electric blinds and nice kitchen!). Short walk to beach access (looks like it may have had access point right in front at one time, but not anymore). Good customer service, we have rented from APVR before and are never dissapointed!

Amazing waterfront Oasis

Beautiful stay. Home had all amenities we needed. A/C blew cold and kept us comfortable the whole stay. Though the water is right out back of your patio you need to walk a ways down the road to get beach access as the waterfront is protected. Small grass area not enough for kids to play on at this location due to it being the last unit in the complex. The upper bedroom balcony is amazing for views but if you have the windows and blinds open the neighbors to your right can see right into the bedroom as there is no seperation other than glass between balconys. There was a bit of an ant problem in the home. Do not leave any food or snacks out as they will be swarmed with hundreds of ants. Even with the few minor hickups we would recommend and would stay here again

Can't get much closer to the ocean than this!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the condo. The only draw back is you are the farthest away from all the ammentities - pools, tennis courts, etc. The condo has an absolutely stunning view. You do hear quite a bit of road noise in the back bedroom. But the front bedroom is amazing. The bed faces the ocean and what a way to wake up in the morning! Condo is equipped with just about everything you could need or want - we did grill quite a bit on the patio.

Amazing View

Great condo. Very comfortable for our family of 5. The view is spectacular & the constant sound of the waves is very relaxing. We loved the condo location in Lahaina which was convenient to our outings. We would definitely stay in this condo again. The only recommendation I would make is that the number of towels & washcloths be increased. There’s basically only 1 each per person, so we were doing laundry everyday to accommodate showers.

Saw Honu everyday, paddle boarded daily(we brought our own board), snorkeled. The property had beach chairs and umbrellas. Made fantastic meals and also went to Lahaina town. Kimo’s is the best. Perfect place to celebrate a 25th Wedding Anniversary, College and HS graduation as a family of four. 🤙🏝️

We had a nice time at this property. The home itself is lovely, clean, nicely furnished and updated. The location is steps from the beach where you can hear the ocean. Beach access is a bit of a walk, as are the different pools. We didn't care for the litany of 'rules' in this community, we're on vacation, so it was definitely overkill. Felt like we were walking around on egg shells. The beach is a little rough and very rocky, so not great. While we liked the house, we didn't really like the location as a whole.

Truly a PERFECT Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When the doctor says to you before a procedure to ”Go to your Happy Place”, this is the place you want to go to! The location if perfect, the community is perfect, and most of all the property is perfect. Set at the very end of the community, it is nestled quietly away. It is directly adjacent to Puamona Beach Park which is currently closed so the privacy is even more than normal. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean crashing and the beautiful sunrises are perfect and early morning walks on the very private beach are the things dreams are made of. This is our second visit and the property was updated since we were last there in 2018. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Already planning the next stay.

Oceanfront awesome views

We loved our stay at this place for 5 nights. Old town Lahaina is 5 minutes away. Amazing ocean views and private beach is few minutes walk. Very clean and all appliances are new. Host is accommodating and reachable. Definitely recommend.

Tropical comfort

Nicely appointed, super clean, quiet and comfortable. We felt like splurging and weren’t disappointed in the rental. The manager was accommodating even on the weekend. You’ll enjoy seeing the whales in season and the occasional chicken was a fun thing to see. Thank you for sharing this rental with us.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Puamana 272-6 to celebrate Christmas and our 25th wedding anniversary for our first visit ever to Maui, and the condo exceeded our expectations. We were footsteps from the water, such that every morning we saw whales, turtles, boats ans paddle boarders with our morning coffee on the patio. My husband surfed every morning in front of the condo, and I took a pleasant stroll into Lahaina (3 miles round trip) most days. We had every amenity we needed in the fully stocked unit, and the clubhouse was beautifully decorated for the holiday. It was a perfect alternative to the high rise resort scene in other parts of West Maui.

Excellent property with beautiful views!

My family of 5 (husband and I, and kids ages 19, 17, and 14) stayed at this property for a week and it was just as described in the ad. The views were spectacular, the property was updated nicely and had everything we needed!! We will definitely book again on our next trip! Fantastic hosts - highly recommend!

Oceanfront & Sea Turtles

We loved this Puamana home. It had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. It was the perfect place to watch surfers and sea turtles float in the waves---Or join them! The design was contemporary with thoughtful, tropical decor. The property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to answer our questions. We enjoyed watching the sunset and the moonrise from the balcony after a day out adventuring. We will be back!
