Lovely spacious 3 bedroom L shape property in the middle of the Bay Filey Holiday Village - featuring open plan living and a bedroom downstairs this is perfect for all the family!

Enter into a spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the right is a large kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break.

There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 with french doors to the patio, and 2 large comfortable sofas. Across the hall there is a WC and access to a large double bedroom with windows to the front and rear.

Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you will find a twin bedroom and a master with double bed, walk-through wardrobe area, and a shower room ensuite. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over.

Meadow View is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 doggies!

Great cottage

Clean well presented cottage, good location on site, Helpful having parking space at the side of the cottage. Just a couple of suggestions It would have been helpful to have a tidy dry for swimming costumes as no where to hang them. A few more mugs would be good as there were 6 of us we had to keep washing mugs. overall would certainly recommend the cottage.

The house was fine. Plenty of utensils for cooking and the kitchen was very useable . The onsuite bathroom is very small but adequate. The location is great not too far from the beach. The walk down is quite steep and may be a probes if you have any difficulty walking up or down hills. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

Amazing property

Had an amazing week staying in this property. House was lovely and clean, kitchen was well equipped and spotless. The property is in an amazing location, only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Dedicated parking space was very handy to have.

Perfect overall. Positives: The house was clean and maintained. Bedroom configuration worked well with 1 x double en-suite and a twin room upstairs and a double downstairs. Laura did a good job in finding an available property and accommodated our needs. Administration: A minor point for Communications leading up to the stay was good, but there was a high number of emails and texts with some duplication could be minimised to keep it concise and relevant. A lot of messages had sections in CAPITALISED TEXT which may be for good reason, but to a new customer may come across as condescending - I hear the frustration of the what appears to be customers repeatedly losing keys etc: a simple bullet-pointed checklist (email prior to arrival, laminated print-out during the stay and at the end of stay) might do the trick. A few days extra would have been useful but it was unavailable.

On the subject of capitalisation in the messages - at busy times we do sadly have guests lose keys and take the leisure pass home so we have to include these in the messages to ensure that subsequent guest can swim due to the leisure pass missing. There are laminated stickers in the property with key points on and we have found that the capitalisation has reduced loss of keys and leisure passes. We apologise if this was too much for you personally. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Lovely stay at Meadow View

We had a lovely stay at Meadow View (5 adults and 2 dogs). The cottage was in a great location and was well equipped. The Bay is a great place to visit and the access to the beach with the dogs is great. The only feedback would be the beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable and the double bed upstairs creaked every time you moved ! Thank you for a lovely weekend away.

Filey break

We had a wonderful week at Meadow View. We loved this spacious property. Very comfortable and well equipped. It was very dog friendly, not just dog tolerant with throws on the sofa and dog bowls etc. Loved it and will definitely return. Lovely Easter holiday break

We normally spend our staycations down South so it was great to explore the Yorkshire coast. The house was lovely for the 5 of us and our dog. The kitchen was better equipped than most holiday lets. We had a little trouble with charging the electric car but managed to sort it out. Great location to explore the area and the easy access to the beach was fantastic.

Comfortable stay at filey for a family of 6

We loved our stay at Filey but there were a few issues such as a blocked sink/lightbulb out/broken hair dryer and false eyelashes that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants. I raised the former issues and they were rectified within a few hours. But it is a shame that I had to raise these issues in the first place. Final checks are needed. The kitchen was brilliant for cooking and had every I needed and more. My elderly parents were with us and the night light was very useful. We all had a very comfortable time in the cottage and would book again.

October stay

Enjoyable family break , House was located in good area not too far from the centre of the complex. The house was warm and cosy , however a bit too snug for 5 adults and a dog . Parking for one car only.

Lovely stay

Lovely clean spacious house near facilities (pub, shop, pizzeria and leisure centre), as well as being near beach and on quiet road. Very dog friendly area but note gardens not enclosed. Plenty of dog poo bins and as well as house being immaculate, grounds were too. Only negative is lack of recycling facilities otherwise 5*

Fantastic holiday home

We had a great family holiday in Meadow Cottage. The house is light & airy and well decorated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped - maybe too well as there is little room for food in the cupboards. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We were a little disappointed the house wasn't cleaner, it clearly hadn't been dusted for a while, but it didn't spoil our time there. The site has a great feel to it and the beach is fabulous.

A shlong weekend away, just the ticket

We were kept fully up to date with any information we needed and found the process quite seamless. The house was equipped very well. We opted for the ev charger which was situated in a very convenient place on the private drive and we were easily able to make use of it. The leisure centre pool was within walking distance and we visited twice per day during our stay, pleasant, helpful staff in attendance. We did visit the restaurant and were very happy with our choices. All in all would be very happy to make a future visit there.

Half Term break at Meadow View

We have just spent 3 nights at Meadow View and would thoroughly recommend it. We've stayed at a few other properties at The Bay and we all agreed that this was the best one. The house is spacious with three good size bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an open plan living space that is really well designed for family living. The kitchen was superbly equipped with pretty much everything you could need, lounge area had plenty of space and a great size smart TV. Hard to explain why but we felt at home and comfortable as soon as we arrived. EV charger on the private drive of the house was also really useful, very easy to organise with the host, simple to use, sensibly priced at £6 per day, and just removed any slight anxiety about finding somewhere to charge the car. Check in and out was really easy and the hosts communication was excellent - we felt very well informed and looked after before during and after our stay.

Filey holiday

Had a lovely stay at Meadow View. Property is beginning to look tired, especially en suite with mould around the bottom and drain. Useful to have washer/dryer, although couldnt believe it was a 2 hr drying cycle, especially in this day and age. Asked Anthony if we could have an airer, which he very kindly did. Really appreciated it. Kitchen was very well equipped for the stay, having everything we wanted. Anthony was extremely helpful.
