Cosy Piece of Heaven

We had a wonderful stay at Seashell Cove. The beach house is so cosy and everything we could possibly need had been thought of. You can tell that it is truly loved by the owners. The beds were comfy and the log burner is well maintained. A real home from home. We can’t wait to stay again.

Weekend break

We have stayed here several times and it’s a favourite of ours, such a lovely lodge. Always clean and well maintained, with lots of extra touches. Not far from the beautiful beach where you can have a good walk into Filey. Great facilities on the complex, including bar and restaurant. Great for Summer and Winter stays. We look forward to coming back.

Perfection

This has been the nicest home from home I’d say in ever and I’ve stayed in a few. This will be the only one for me now. The beds were to die for. I’ve got two dogs & the are from the side door was perfect for my very early dog demand my nightie coat & torch perfect. Whoever owns this chalet be proud it’s gorgeous Thank you for a fab week of tranquility Mary

Week Away With Friends

A wonderful week away. Location is perfect and nice and quiet. The beach is within a few minutes walk and perfect for a walk and for the dog to run around and burn off some energy. Seashell Cove had everything you needed and was extremely well set out. The service we got from Paula was amazing and would definitely recommend. Would love to return.

Love seashell cove love the bay lots of local places to visit and eat. Stayed at the bay 6 times now feel so relaxed after my visits.seashell cove home from home.

Absolutely fantastic holiday home

Seashell Cove is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in Beautiful, tasteful decor and spotlessly clean, the beds are so comfy and there’s even a bath I would highly recommend this place as a proper luxury getaway, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in this place and really value their guests Thank you Jo and David I can’t wait to visit again xx

Great Property which despite a couple of minor issues we would book again in the future.

This was our 3rd time staying at The Bay we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in which was the best property we have stayed in so far. It is in a great location only a short walk to the pub and within easy walking distance to the beach. The property is well kitted out and even had items you wouldn't necessarily expect. A small welcome pack, soft drinks crisps and biscuits and even plenty of doggy treats. Some minor negatives worth mentioning , The main patio door had inadvertently been left unlocked upon our arrival, whilst not a problem in itself, it could of allowed someone to enter and remove items which we would then have had to explain later. Although the property was clean on arrival, my wife was alarmed to discover an item of ladies underwear lying beside the bed in the main bedroom which does bring into question the attentitivness of the housekeeping staff. There is a small area of damage at the base of the doorframe in the ensuite which could do with some attention otherwise the property was in a good state of repair. Somewhat unusually there was a lack of drawer or shelf space for ones clothes meaning that we largely were living out of our suitcase, And finally the towels provided were rather small and not really adequate for drying oneself after a shower, would therefore recommend that if you like big towels then take your own. All in all a great property that we would happily visit again and would recommend to others.

Fabulous stay

We had wonderful stay at Seashell Cove a Beautiful property near to all amenities and can’t fault it at all It was lovely to meet Lyn the owner when we arrived It was fantastic weather and was refreshing to sit on the sunny decking on comfortable seating instead of wooden or plastic furniture The jar of dog treats was also a lovely touch for furry friends We will definitely be back

Little Gem of a place

We have stayed here several times this year and love it. I took my mum and dad for a treat to celebrate my mums 80th birthday, they loved it. The lodge has excellent facilities and has lovely touches. The log burner was lovely to chill with a glass of mulled wine and made it so cosy on a winters night. Filey is a cute sea side resort and offers good boutique shops, cafes, bars and some lovey restaurants, which I close by. If you want to eat in there is plenty of takeaway services that deliver to the lodge

A lovely week

The property is really well appointed and gives a genuine beach house feel throughout. Spacious living areas coupled with outdoor decking provide plenty of room to relax in. The overhead fans are a welcome feature too. A lovely property within a very short walk to the resort amenities. The walk to the cove is around ten minutes. Recommended.

Would highly recommend!

We came for a long weekend as a group of 3 couples. Seashell cove was absolutely perfect for us. The lodge is decorated beautifully and has everything we couldn’t wanted and more! It was spotless & so cosy especially with the log burner. The location is great and we enjoyed some lovely walks on the beach. We are already looking to book here again, we can’t wait! Thank you x

A very relaxing haven.

This beach house has got the wow factor. The design of the building provides lots of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. There are two generous sized bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one being en-suite and the other a very clever “ Jack and Jill “ arrangement. The light floods into the property enhanced by the vaulted ceiling in the main living area. There is amble parking and all the amenities are only a few minutes away. We had a lovely 6 days enjoying the stunning beach, coastal walks and enjoying the charm of the town of Filey. SeaShell Cove is a real gem.

Gorgeous lodge home from home

This is the second time we have stayed here, it’s one of the best lodges we have stayed in at the Bay, it’s clean with lovely furnishings, the beds are very comfortable. It is well stocked with plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. It is well maintained and such a wonderful place to come and relax. The outside area is brilliant at the front and back of the property with a lovely seating area at the front and the back. It’s lovely to open the French windows of the bedrooms and have a lovely seating area to relax or have breakfast. Can’t wait to go back for an autumn stay.

Absolutely Beautiful

This has got to be our favourite property on The Bay so far (and we’ve stayed in a few!) The owners have thought of literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need, for a short or a long stay. The property was immaculately presented, very clean and comfortable and we would return in a heartbeat. This was our first stay in Seashell Cove and it definitely won’t be our last! You would need to book this property yourself, to appreciate just how beautiful it is! As always, thank you to Paula at Filey Bay Direct, for securing our last minute break.
