Wonderful small apartment close to Old Town Madrid sites. Check in was easy. Only small downside was bathroom on first floor and bedroom on second floor. Happy there is a motion activated light for stairs!

This little gem was perfect accommodations for my daughter and I. We were able to have separate sleeping areas. The kitchen was perfect for making a meal or just reheating leftovers. Bathroom and shower were excellent space… again to share with another person. The host were absolutely attentive to our questions and very welcoming. I would go backs next visit to Madrid.

After season stay

Very nice apartment for a stay to visit Madrid. Very nearby all tourists attractions and easy accessible by Metro. We enjoyed are stay very much K R Ryanne and Wilco

Perfect location to enjoy Madrid!

The apartment is located in a perfect location to walk to all of the places we wanted to see in Madrid. Communication was excellent and we enjoyed meeting Luisa as she met us at the apartment and explained everything the first day we arrived. We would most definitely stay here again!

A nice apartment in an interesting neighborhood

We found the apartment well located to visit nearby museums and to discover excellent local restaurants. At the end of a day of sight-seeing, we were always glad to return to our comfortable apartment, with its charming decor. We thank the owner for her help during our stay. We highly recommend this rental property.

Wonderful Place

Everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Most places you’d want to see were in walking distance. The hostvwas very helpful. We had a great time.

Great City break

The property was just as described and it was very cosy, comfortable and well equipped to suit all of our needs. The Apartment was located on a pleasant street and was within walking distance to all the main sights. We had a wonderful trip loved the museums, markets, Retiro park and concerts. Delicious food at the Plentiful cafe bars.

Well equipped accommodations

The apartment was conveniently located within walking distance to many places of interest. The kitchen was well equipped for a person who enjoys cooking. The host was readily available and responded to emails quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

very cozy place in the heart of Madrid

We had the best time. Elena, the owner, is an absolute delight. Very helpful and easy to communicate. The place is small but perfect for 2 people, very close to all major attractions. Supermarket is close by, so we had breakfasts at home, and even managed to cook dinner once or twice. Highly recommend!

Fabulous!

Elena was wonderful! She met us at the property when we arrived and answered questions, left a lot of very helpful information, as well as reloadable cards for the train, which we used a lot! The location is perfect. It’s quiet, quaint, and within walking distance to the metro and Atocha.The apartment is beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. We had a lovely week in Madrid! We would definitely stay again.

Great Porperty / Great Host

Perfectly located property with great access to Parque del Retiro, Museo Reina Sofia and other iconic places, landmarks. Quiet and relaxing but only steps to highly energetic areas of Madrid. Comfortable, very clean, with excellent attention to details. Host was incredibly gracious and attentive.

Elena and Luisa were wonderful hosts, providing everything I needed during my nearly three months at this centrally located apartment. When I found the cooking knives dull, they provided me with a sharpener and even a new chef's knife. The apartment is a short (10-12 minutes) walk from Plaza Mayor, El Parque Nacional del Retiro, and Museo del Prado. Other museums are even closer. the Lavapies neighborhood is bohemian and reminiscent of New York's West Village. I could go on, but you get the idea. The only negative was the occasional noise on what is a mostly quiet street. But, the apartment is in the city's center so a bit of that is to be expected. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Wonderful location, Excellent host

The apartment was exactly as listed. Elena was waiting for us when we arrived and had plenty of information about local shopping, attractions etc. on hand, including a map. The apartment was clean and well provisioned - including kitchen basics and cookware. Communication (via Whatsapp) was excellent. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

So impressed with apartment!!

This apartment is amazing. I love the decor and it has everything you will need for your stay. It's location is ideal. It's within walking distance to many popular sites and to Atocha station. It's also a very "artsy" part of town; many museums, art studios, dance studios, music conservatory. I loved it here and the owners are very attentive to your needs and extremely friendly. I want to go back!!!

It was what we expected! The attention to details was exceptional. Elena had provided a lot of info where to eat and what ti visit. I would say in our 4 week trip the host was the most equipped as far as kitchen and barhroom. Thank you Elena super job!

So well equipped!

I’ve rented several Vrbo properties and have never had a property as well equipped as this one. Especially if your learning to cook Spanish dishes, everything is there. Your close to everything and in a real Spanish neighborhood. You probably will be the only tourist. The neighbors are welcoming. Don’t miss La Lorenza restaurant about 100 feet away. Casual and delicious.

Lovely Apartment

Well stocked kitchen with utensils, spices, toaster, kettle, microwave. Wash able to prepare a few meals and wash some laundry. Location was excellent, walking distance to shopping, museums, transportation, and restaurants. Shower was tiny for my 6’3 husband, but that’s common in Europe and we would stay there again. No issues checking in early as we arrived mid morning.

Adorable Apartment in Lovely Madrid Neighborhood

Elena’s apartment is not only warm and inviting, it is in the ideal location. It is tucked away on a quiet street but within walking distance to museums, parks, shops and restaurants. It is everything you could ever want for a perfect stay in Madrid. My husband and I highly recommend Elena’s apartment and hope to return. Much as Gracias Elena. Lovely apartment, helpful host

We enjoyed our stay in the Madrid apartment so much! Even before we arrived, Elena sent us a good deal of helpful information about the neighbourhood and Madrid more generally, so we were able to plan our days, get groceries efficiently, and walk the best routes to the museums, palace, and other places. We found the apartment just lovely, comfortable, conveniently located, with a kitchen very well supplied with all the equipment one might need for a stay of a few days or longer. We would happily return on another visit to Madrid!
