A beautiful 19th century barn converted in 2000 into a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom family home. The Barn has a great hall for dining with high ceilings and wrap around gallery. Fully equipped kitchen. Two private outside enclosed areas for guests and safe for dogs and children. Outside picnic benches.

The barn was perfect for our stay, 5 adults , two teenagers and 3 dogs. The barn is very spacious, comfortable and clean. The outside area was perfect and we spent many hot hours enjoying sitting in there. The barn is beautiful with high ceilings and a exceptional dining, seating and kitchen area. We would definetely stay their again.

Host welcoming and helpful. The barn was a tremendous place to stay: unusual features , plenty of room and warm with length of games, puzzles and toys to entertain in the evenings.

Lots of space for cars at the front of the barn. Dog friendly with enclosed front and back gravel/stone garden and a very close by small paddock for doggie toilet. Dogs not allowed upstairs or on furniture as expected. Jo met me as I arrived and was very welcoming. Easy access through coded gate to the barn. Fabulous wood burner and plenty of logs as a welcome supply ( more available to buy too). A beautiful family place to stay.

The Barn is a fantastic space, full of character, very comfortable and perfect for a large family with lots of space for all. Perfectly situated just a short drive from Arundel and many other points of interest and beaches. Check-in was extremely easy and all facilities were presented with care, attention to detail and an experienced hand. We didn't have to ask any questions thoughout our week long stay.Jo was a fantastic and very friendly host. We would definitely look to stay here again!

Beautiful Spacious Place

Our stay was for our daughters wedding, there were four us over four nights and on addition a makeup, hair stylist and chauffeur on the day of the wedding with an abundance of personal private space for parking as well as internally. The barn has original weathered oak beams with mod all the mod cons. The place is hugely spacious. A luxury stay.

Such a wonderful experience

A lovely property, with very friendly host, but not never intrusive. We loved the cleanliness, the size, the comfort, the hamper when we got there. Can't really fault the place. I highly recommend for a relaxing long weekend. Plenty of gorgeous places to visit; woods, hills, villages, coast. Thank you

Outdoor area

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely comfortable barn with cosy fire. I would recommend improving the courtyard area to make it more comfortable and attractive to sit in. Also include comfortable outdoor furniture. No where very relaxing to sit outside.

Return to previous home area and old friends,

Extensive restoration of original farm buildings provided excellent space for three adults, two children and one small dog. Well furnished and equipped with free time supply of games, jigsaws, books and TV. Very clean on arrival and a lovely welcome from host,Weather good enabling party members to make excursions and visits as planned beforehand. 5 STAR!!

Pleasant stay at "The Barn"

We spent our one week holiday with two families in The Barn and had a pleasant time. The house was really clean, big and lovely decorated. The kitchen had an excellent equipment and the cooking was so fun. Everyone had enough space for themselves. The house is also well located to visit the southcoast of England, from Southhampton to Eastbourne. We would definitely recommend The Barn! Thanks and greetings to the hosts, Jo and Daniel.

Short summer get away

We were two family’s getting together for a short break. The Barn was lovely, very spacious and clean with everything we needed and in a very in quiet location - just a short drive from beautiful walks and beaches, pubs and shops. The owners were very helpful and quick to answer questions prior to our stay and very welcoming on arrival. Would highly recommended a stay at The Barn.

Beautiful and spacious place. All the amenities you need and beautiful surroundings. The place is located in a very nice village with a local pub/ restaurant, and other nice places are within reasonable reach. Very kind owners are living nearby and are easy to contact.

We converted The Barn from a farm building which has housed cattle and chicken into the lovely house it is now. If you like beams you'll love The Barn. Lots of space to get together.

We enjoy guests coming to stay although we do have a very strict no party/hen/stag policy as we want all guests to enjoy the peace.

There is much to do in this area. Arundel and Chichester are lovely towns to visit as are the South downs if you like views and walking. Goodwood is only 10 mins away and Fontwell racecourse is just a few minutes from us. Well known West Wittering beach is about 20 mins, Climping, Bognor, and Littlehampton beaches are just 10 mins by car. Lots to do for children. Fischer's Farm, Cinemas, Swanbourne lake, boating, the list goes on.

To the front and back of the property there are two enclosed areas for children and pets.
Some outside games are available.
The car park attached to the property has room for 4/5 cars and leads into your own private graveled area which has some large picnic tables so you can eat comfortably outside when the weather permits.

The Barn is a beautiful house offering lots of character and beams and high vaulted ceilings. Lots of space with quiet corners to sit and read if you wish as well as the back to back wood burner to enjoy which opens into the dining hall as well as the drawing room.
It is situated in a small country village and is ideal for visiting all this area has to offer
