Located on the 4th floor of a traditional Portuguese building (note: there is no elevator), this charming duplex in Bairro Alto offers the perfect blend of local character and modern comfort.

With two bright queen bedrooms, a spacious living area with colourful details, and a fully equipped kitchen, it’s ideal for relaxing after a day exploring Lisbon.

The highlight? A sunny rooftop terrace with seating and dining area—perfect for breakfast with a view or sunset drinks overlooking the city’s iconic rooftops.

The apartment is just a short walk from Bica’s bars, the buzzing Pink Street, Cais do Sodré and historic tram lines. Although you’re in Lisbon’s nightlife district, the top-floor location offers a peaceful retreat.

Wonderful and spacious apartment on 3rd floor. Lots of windows for light and great balcony. Very clean with lots of room in the living room and kitchen. Very well cared for and everything you need during your stay. Communication was through WhatsApp. We had a later arrival coming from the airport but Paula was there to great us and show us the apartment. She was very kind and offered great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. I would highly recommend staying here again. Stayed 4 nights in May 2026.

Beautiful apartment very spacious and balcony view with coffee in the morning was lovely. Very central location very quiet. Unfortunately they were dry walling, painting the walls and hand rails to the stairs every day so we had strong fumes, paint on our shoes and blue paint on the handrails which were without signage they were wet.Obviously we get it and they are improving the building and the workers were so kind. The young men even took our bags up the 2 large flight of stairs for us. Thank you for a lovely comfortable home. Lisbon people are the kindest and very personable!

Nice place to stay

The apartment is large and nicely decorated. The mattresses need to be changed. You can feel the springs. Overall a good place to stay in Lisbon. Thanks for the hospitality.

Communication with host was HORRIBLE. We were coming from Spain and I reached out after our specified check-in time to get our address and key information. The host NEVER replied to multiple requests until AFTER I was able to get a hold of someone from VRBO. VERY DISAPPOINTED. It made for a very stressful start to the 2nd part of our vacation. I also reached out about the A/C not working in one of the bedrooms and no one came to fix.

Four Nights in Lisbon

We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time in the unit and all around the area! We could walk everywhere to find restaurants and entertainment and sight-see.The unit was just as described and did not disappoint. It was wonderful to be able to do laundry and also sit on the deck in the mornings and evenings.We will definitely return!

Great location, very close to the bags and restaurants yet very quiet at night. Many tours start at plaza Luiz Camoes and the plaza is 5' away from the apartment. The apartment is on a third floor, so be ready to carry your luggage....

Wunderschöne Wohnung in bester Lage in Lissabon. Super entspannter Check-in.Manche Dinge in der Wohnung könnten etwas Nacharbeit gebrauchen (Balkontür in einem Schlafzimmer schließt nicht richtig, Wasserhähne im Bad locker), aber bzgl Preis-Leistung gibt es nichts zu meckern!

Great location...

Bairro Alto is a great locale. Apt. was modern, clean, management agency was communicative, but apt. was not as functional as we'd wished. Kitchen very minimally appointed - e.g. not even salt/pepper, only basic utensils, couldn't get stove to work - no instructions in English. Some lights were out, most perilously in the stairwell, entry hall smelled of mold. "Patio/deck" was also funky. Overall OK but not the best.

great location

i didn't know if the place was dirty or maybe they couldn't get it any cleaner, apartment needed updating . We had issues with the air conditioner so the management company came over and told us it was fixed but we never got any cold air. Thank god we were out during the day when it was hot and only returned at night when it was cool. Zero stars for the A/C. The hot water gave us issues when we arrived but the management people came over and fixed the problem, no one turned on the gas. It worked great for 2 days then it didn't work any longer, we sent a text to the management company but after 5 no one bothers to call you back. One star for the management company. Needless to say we took a cold shower and went on our way. Nothing good about this place other than the location. stay away
