A fantastic home in a great location

This was our first stay at the Den, but won't be out last. Beautifully furnished with a lovely private garden. Could not have wished for a better base for our holiday in Norfolk.

Wonderful!

The Den is superb. Well furnished and very clean and tidy. The only holiday home we've been to where I don't feel the need to detox everything in sight! The owners are a lovely couple and so helpful. We are returning guests and have no hesitation in booking again.

A week at the den

It's a nice and spacious property for 2 people and most of the everyday things are provided that you might need. The little bottle of milk and pack of biscuits were a nice touch. The water pressure to the shower is very poor which makes it take longer to have a shower because it takes longer to rinse any suds and shampoo off. The noise from the toilet is rather annoying due to the saniflo system, especially when it does it randomly when you are in the bathroom but not using any water and it makes you jump. The shower is also connected to the saniflo system, hence the poor pressure. We had to be very careful of the towel rail as it gets very hot and easy to burn your hands when putting damp towels on it. The wardrobes were great, but the bed and pillows, were very uncomfortable and very hard which badly aggravated my sciatica, making it much worse over the week. I lost a lot of sleep due to that and was in a lot of pain. I did try to sleep on the settees one night as they were nice and comfy but I didn't manage much comfort due to some very loud guests staying above us, arriving around 9pm on the Thursday and proceeding to start thumping, banging, thudding and what sounded like throwing a bowling ball down as it was that loud on the ceiling.They also sat outside on the Thursday night in their car from 10pm revving the engine for a good 15 or so minutes. The banging and thudding went on until late in the night and began again at 6:40am the next day and continued on the Friday and Saturday. We found that to be quite inconsiderate, seeing as they knew they had paying guests staying there and that we'd be able to hear all the noise. We did feel a little watched too, as when walking down the drive, a motion activated light comes on above the owners living room window, so you can't really arrive back from a day out without them knowing. It was a good base for the week, but we won't stay again.

Lovely accommodation

This was our second stay at The Den and it lived up to our expectations. It is in a quiet area yet still close to the station and other amenities. The Den itself is very specious and comfortable with everything you need and has a lovely seated patio area and gardens. We would definitely stay again when we come to the area if available.

Our stay at The Den

We stayed at The Den for 1 week in early May 2025 it is perfect for one to two people. Set within a lovely garden the accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped a private parking place is also provided. Situated In a quiet location convenient 5 minutes walking distance to the town, sea and transport.

The accommodation was immaculate in lovely surroundings, a short walk to the bus and railway stations and shops. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book again when we come to Norfolk.

A superb holiday let in every respect

This is our 4th visit to the Den. Starting with a warm welcome from Sandra and Trevor we enjoyed a delightful 2 weeks holiday. Yet again we were impressed with the quality of the accommodation and the wide range of top class equipment. On each of our stays we have been blessed by fantastic weather which proved to be the icing on the top of an excellent cake.

Located at the back of the plot, in a side street, this is a superbly quiet location - but just five minutes walk to the railway station or 10-15 minutes to the beach. Comes with it's own generous parking space.

A delightful place to stay, in an ideal position, a short walk from the sea front. The Den was spotless and very comfortable and had a lovely garden area too.

Wonderful stay

We had a really enjoyable stay at The Den, made even better by being very lucky with the weather. Trevor and Sandra are lovely people and obviously great love and care has been put into making The Den very well-equipped and comfortable. Looking out on their beautiful garden is an added bonus. The property is in a very quiet area but also convenient for Sheringham and the North Norfolk coast which is a favourite of ours. We look forward to visiting The Den again.

The property was clean and with excellent facilities inside. A very attractive garden where we could sit sheltered and in privacy. Convenient for walking into town centre and the coast. very friendly and helpful owners.

Very good! Would definitely recommend!

The Den is in an ideal location. Its situated in a quiet and peaceful area of Sheringham. It is exceptionally well equipped and although we ate out I would have been able to cook and serve meals with no problems. It is spotlessly clean and its the only self catering place I don't have to wash crockery just to be careful! This must be our 4th stay at the Den and it never disappoints. Sandra and Trevor are lovely folk and welcoming hosts. We will be returning!

The Den

A delightful place to stay in an ideal position just a 10 minute walk from the town. It has a parking space and your own private garden to relax in. The Den was spotless and was very well equipped, there was milk and biscuits to welcome us.
