Ce magnifique piano noble à l'intérieur du Palazzo Soranzo dell'Angelo (1400) est situé dans le Rio della Canonica, connu pour le Pont des Soupirs, le pont qui relie le Palais des Doges aux prisons, que vous pouvez voir depuis un angle du balcon donnant sur le canal.

À deux pas de cet appartement au design majestueux et soigneusement recherché se trouve la Piazza San Marco et à 10 minutes à pied, vous pouvez atteindre le Pont du Rialto et le Marché du Rialto.

L'appartement se trouve au premier étage sans ascenseur et se compose de : un grand salon avec zone de vie et zone de repas, un balcon avec une petite table et des chaises d'extérieur, deux chambres avec lit double, une avec dressing, deux salles de bains et une cuisine.

L'arrêt de vaporetto le plus proche est "San Zaccaria" d'où vous pouvez facilement atteindre la gare, Piazzale Roma, le Tronchetto, l'aéroport Marco Polo et les plages du Lido.

Les check-in sont possibles de 15h à 19h. Les check-in plus tardifs sont possibles après accord et avec un supplément de 30,00€ pour les arrivées avant 22h ou 50,00€ avant 23h. Au check-in, le paiement de la taxe de séjour qui s'élève à 5€ par personne et par nuit sera demandé et un contrat de location sera à remplir et à signer, incluant les données d'une carte de crédit au nom des invités en garantie des dommages.

The view from the balcony was the best in Venice with a view of the Bridge of Sighs and all the gondolas and activity in the canal. The location to the shops, sites and eateries was perfect. The book about the history of house was a nice touch.

The photos don't do justice to this Palace apartment. Everything about it was perfection, from the entrance to the balcony to the views. And the location, I had no idea when I booked it that you are literally steps away from the Piazza, fine dining, and everything in San Marco. The management company was easy to get ahold of, and check-in was a breeze. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Venice!

Great Location in Venice

Overall, we were pleased with the stay given the great location. It was very warm when we arrived and the air conditioning had trouble keeping up. Given the price of the apartment, we had higher expections. It is also quite noisy with little to no insulation in the windows.

Broken AC, and other issues

When we first got there we were told immediately that the AC was broken and that it would be fixed that day or the next. It never was, they left us a couple stand fans but they only helped at night when we slept After the initial check in all communication nearly stopped. During one of the worst heat waves Europe has seen the time there was miserable. We appreciated the friendly check in and early check in to drop our bags to wait for the unit to be finish being cleaned but that was about the only positive experience. The place is beautiful and very large however there is really only room for two couples at most. The good is that it is right off San Marco square and only a few minutes walk to it and a 2 more to a taxi port/dock. Problems we experienced. The wifi cuts out and doesn't provide a usable signal in the master bedroom. The other bedroom has a very uncomfortable bed of two twins pushed together so there is a horrible seam between the two mattresses. They were hard and uncomfortable too. The house manual barely gave information and the hideaway cupboards took awhile to figure out, and little information on anything else. I didn't know where any glassware was till about the final day. the water filter/spout in the fridge didn't work and I couldn't figure out the W/D unit as there were no directions. the last couple days we stopped hearing back from the caretaker or the host (company). We asked several times for a partial refund due to the most uncomfortable stay but never heard from them. Unfortunately I can't recommend staying here. Maybe if they improved the manual and full directions and label the cupboard doors for what is inside (they are mag locked with seamless edges so you don't know which way to open them) it would help, but over all it was a pretty poor experience. It was too expensive and since only one bedroom is usable, it is too expensive for a single person or couple to stay at, let along 4 even if they improved the second bedroom. The light switches were confusing with no directions or labels either. There were masters scattered around in weird places then switches for other lights other places. There was hardly a moment we were comfortable or happy there. The lobby of the building is pitch black at night with no lights, if you come in afterhours be sure you have a flashlight or use your phone's light or you will slip or trip on the shiny smooth steps, which we constantly did.
