This condo has a perfect location for skiing. The shuttle service is awesome! The kitchen had everything we needed. Primary bed was comfortable. One twin kind of sags. Would stay here again.

This was so much fun to be able to ski directly down 4 o'clock to our unit! And a very nice, clean, well stocked unit for the week and we had tons of snow!

Guy's Ski Trip

I have stayed at Mountain Thunder Lodge the last three (3) trips to Breckenridge. The facility is clean, has multiple hot tubs and is only a few minute walk to Main Street. The ski in option is an added benefit.

Great Location and Affordable

My son and I stayed in late March for some late season runs. The location is perfect. It's an easy walk to town and an easier walk to the BreckConnect Gondola. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the end of day skiers pass by on the "Gondola Ski Back" trail at the end of Lower 4 O'Clock.

Family ski trip

Location 10/10. Steps to gondola 10/10. Communication with property mgr 10/10. Overall cleanliness I’d go 9; I’d go 10 if the linens were updated. Only real downside was don’t plan on making any meals; the cookware is so so at best. But if you just want to take advantage of Breckenridge’s great dining, no worries there.

This is a great place to stay. The location is perfect and really easy to access everything in town. My only wish is for the place to smell a bit better. It had an old smelling stench that would have been remedied with a plug in or something similar.

Perfect for family of four

Great stay and experience overall. The process of picking up/dropping off the key cards was annoying but manageable. Maybe using a lockbox of sorts would’ve made it better. Great access to town, pool/hot tub, ski-in was convenient with the lockers right there. Stayed there with my husband and 6 and 7 YOs. Perfect for the 4 of us. Would certainly stay there again!

Relaxing stay

Property was clean, enjoyed hot tub, and location. Short walk to either gondola or Main Street. Condo was quiet, clean, and we really appreciated the fans and humidifiers provided. It was a bit of a struggle with only 3 forks, but other than that, kitchen equipment was appropriate. Thankyou.

Roomier than other rentals I’ve used. Very nice place. Short walk to gondola n ski in at end of day. Short walk to town as well. Only issue was not enough glasses in cabinets for 4 people. Only 4 tall glasses. Should be 8. Had to wash after every use.

Cozy Property

This unit was very cozy and in a convenient location to the gondola, town and right at the end of the lower four o'clock / gondola ski run. The only negative is that the heat in the unit was very strange between rooms, the living room would be super hot and the bedrooms were ice cold. Would rent again if the nighly rates are reasonable.

Good Space to Spend a Vacation

The condo was clean and comfortable. I would suggest an L-shaped leather sofa for living space. The existing sofa is material and the theee of us sat to watch a movie or read. More sofa space would make this space perfect. Up to date. Good bed mattress and pillows. Due to family illness, had to return home early.

Comfortable space

Comfortable space, great location. Rooms were roomy, clean and they had fans and extra blankets. Responsive team, left keycard in unit and they came out with in 30 minutes to help. I will say the walk to the Gondola, while not long (5-10 min) was not something we looked forward to each morning. Altitude is a killer when you’re from Ohio:). Only complaint is the check in process. Seems there should be a more convenient way to get keycards than going to a separate building not attached to the lodge. Overall great stay and would stay there again.

WORST SERVICE EVER- Do Not Stay in this unit.

Waiting for almost two hours to have keys dropped off at property, all while calling and texting the property manager. He’s ignored us for the first hour, because we were disrupting his weekend, but finally got him to answer his phone. He proceeded to hang up on me and send me to voicemail for the next hour, until a “ housekeeper” finally dropped the key. She laughed at me as she walked away. It was absolutely ridiculous. I’ve stayed in venison all over the world, at this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. At no point in our stay was there an apology or even an acknowledgement of what transpired. I have a complete text chain of me repeatedly pleading with him to allow us access to the property after the check in time. We were not early, we were not rude. We just wanted to put our feet up after a long day of flying and driving. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. If I were the owner, I would fire the property manager in a heartbeat, because he was wholly unprofessional and outright rude. Do not stay here unless you plan on being screwed over. The lodge was fine, but don’t stay in this unit or rent from this management company.

Great location!

Great location, fun time of year, fair value to cost however carpet was in need of good cleaning and living room pillows were in need of replacement and we had a fridge repair issue(ice build up dripped all over our food) handled amazingly quickly and a sink faucet in kitchen that needs to be replaced.. more TLC needed for the unit by the owners.. the folks at Mountain thunder were marvelous for towels/bath Matt’s, more glasses, help etc. the VRBO help portion was minimal at best..this unit is a great location just could use some maintenance and owner attention (many cracked tiles in master bath, handle broken off shower, no bar in bath for us older set..also volume use wears things out. The soap/Shampoo brand was pretty motel quality for what you charge at $500 a night in the summer. The cleaning folks could get in and spiff more and sweep off the deck as there was about 3 months of dirt under the Matt yuck! Again Mnt Thunder was fabulous I am not sure I’d do a VRBO again.. think you could take a lesson from how Winter Park takes care of guests. We met at a Wendy’s in Frisco to get our key which was fine but really? Hokey for sure. Winter Park calls to make sure we have everything.. left ideas on places to go..one thing I loved in this unit it it faced the Aspen Trees off the all deck and it was quiet and that was nice. The pool was clean.. the hot tub was nice but not hit enough.. plenty of towels! The u it was well appointed and generally clean most of my issues are with aging that the owner should address. The furnishings otherwise were fine. It’s a tight unit but functional.. I’d keep it to no more than 4 people.. oh and my husband tried to fix a prior broken hinge on the pull out couch that may son slept on.. it works but again Needs attention. All the obvious repairs on this unit are under $2500 if that! Do it! If you do we would return.. dirty carpet is a Nono in this industry.. not just stained but dirties your sucks is my test! Thanks you asked/I share.

Great location, needs a little upgrade

This property is in a great location, and that is exactly what you pay for! Proximity to the mtn, easy access to the gondola and a short walk to main street. The 2 bedrooms are neat and clean and the space is perfect for a family of four. The only cons is that it needs a little TLC and attention to detail. 3 out of 4 of the lightbulbs are burnt out over the dining table, batteries are out in remotes, the front door is about to fall apart and the patio door doesn't shut unless you really pull on it. During our stay both the carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector both went off due to low batteries. The guest shower head barely trickles out water. The kitchen has bare essentials and could use a pair of scissors and measuring spoons & cups. Parking instructions could also be updated to reflect that there is a spot underground. Ours didn't mention this at all and made a note about street parking and having to move the car every 24-hours if it snowed heavy. Luckily I ran into the main lodge to ask where the location of our unit was (it's there) and they told me about the parking.
