Good location, basic stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is ok, somewhat remodeled. The good-close to shuttle, has a kitchen to make your own food. The not so good- The master bed and lower bunk are not comfortable, my husband was stuffed every night(and better outside), not sure if the carpet is old and dusty, previous pets, or bedding needs an update. Kitchen pots/pans are worn out and need to be replaced, no way to dry ski boots, the kitchen towels and papertowels are worthless and for the price paid per night, could be better.

Beautiful property, great management

We didn’t actually stay at this property! There was a last-minute problem with the Gold Camp Silver Strike condo, just a few hours before our arrival. The property management company (Summit Mountain Rentals) seamlessly relocated us to a similar condo in the same area for the same price. The place was beautiful, comfortable, convenient, and quiet - just what we were hoping for.

Perfect condo for family or a small group. Solid kitchen setup, comfy living room, hot tub access, two bathrooms and plenty of hooks and ski storage make this a practical condo optimized for skiing.

Location, location, location!

This property is located just one stop away from peak 7 and two stops from peak 8 when using the free ride bus / shuttle (Gold Route line). What you see in the pictures is what you get!

The living room area was very open and that was nice. Lots of light and it was very livable. Overall the unit feels like it needs some attention though. The windows are weathered, the back bedroom window won't close and is drafty. The cranks for the windows are replacement and don't quite fit right. Lots of road noise too, it's located right where the buses servicing Peak 8 downshift to slow down. I understand there's nothing that can be done about that, but we would have booked a little more off the beaten path if we were aware.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not stay there again; price not worthy of the unit, definitely not what I would consider “luxury”, location was fair, not great. Bathroom showers were really small and I am not a big person. Neighbors making noise after 11pm was an issue (loud music and yelling). Right next to ski hill road with consistent road noise; temp of unit was really hot at night. Overall disappointed with unit and price paid because of busy weekend.

Ski vacation

It was close to the bus shuttle to the top of the mountain and town. We did rent a car but you really could use the shuttle to get anywhere. The accommodation was good too. Smaller than I thought but was fine for the 4 of us.
