This home from home is well appointed and beautifully furnished throughout to ensure a comfortable stay. The modern kitchen is extremely well equipped and includes a full size fridge-freezer and washing machine. The living/dining space looks out towards Skiddaw and Latrigg and features a comfortable grey sofa and Smart TV with access to Sky TV + Netflix. The dining table for two is positioned by the window so you can admire the stunning fell views while you dine and enjoy a glass of wine after a day of adventures. The bedroom has a double bed dressed in quality linen, dressing table and ample storage. The modern bathroom has a heated towel rail, WC, washbasin with cabinet, mirror and bath with shower over. The owners provide some lovely little extras including soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There is one allocated parking space in the private car park.

Lovely apartment

We loved our stay at Skiddaw View. The location was perfect with everything on the doorstep. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need. The bed and sofa were both very comfy. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect escape!

A really lovely little apartment, perfect for me, my husband and dog. Well equipt, lovely comfortable sofa and bed. Perfectly positioned for all the shops, bars and restaurants in Keswick and the car parking space was a bonus (albeit tight!) We will Definitely come back again :)

Brilliant stay

Lovely property in the centre of Keswick. Perfect for a single person or a couple. Easy access to all the various cafes and restaurants as well as the various walks around Keswick.

We had a fantastic stay at Keswick, it was a relaxing place, especially on a rainy day, it was a short walk into town, lots of local shops, restaurants and pubs. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Of all the holiday cottages we have stayed in Keswick this one has the best views, centrally located, own parking space, great sofa to relax after a long day walking. Will be booking again.

Mid August Break

I stayed at Skiddaw View for 6 nights mid-August. All instructions for arrival were clear with photographs where necessary e.g. car parking, although the number identifier had fallen off (Keswick Cottages informed). The parking space in the communal car park to the rear of the apartments weirdly had a couple of metal poles either side of the top of the allocated parking space and it was tricky turning into and reversing out of the space without some micro-manoeuvring (and I only have Ford Focus). TIP - reverse in is much easier, but care if you have a big car. The apartment is first floor and was clean, comfortable sofa, really nice bed, plenty of storage space, great view when at the dining table and very well equipped for self catering which I like to do. The location being right by the centre of Keswick is equally convenient for eating out, shopping at Booths supermarket or there is a convenience store just by the communal car park. Buses run from the bus station by Booths which is also good for not having to drive. Heating wasn't necessary given the hot weather at the time I stopped, but the apartment faces north (GREAT view of Skiddaw as the apartment name implies) so was cooler, plus a fan was provided. The location on the main road through Keswick does make for a lot of traffic noise which I found could be intrusive at times as I'm a light sleeper.

Great for a couple

Small but perfect for 2. Close to all keswick's restaurants, pubs, shops and cinema. Also close to a main road, which can be noisy during the day. Easy drives for the central and northern fells, as well as cumbria's west coast. Designated parking spot, which is a real bonus in such a busy town. Kitchen well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Would definitely book skiddaw view again.

Nice holiday

It was a pleasant stay with our dog. The beautiful Fitz Park is just around the corner, so it is possible to go out for a nice walk with your doggy.

Ideal location

Fantastic stay at Skiddaw view ,ideally situated for the town centre and also for the park for walking dogs.Although small it's beautifully furnished and ideal for 2 people.Bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again .

Skiddaw view

Brilliant location near to the park and easy walk into Keswick also nice to have a parking space. The flat was cleaned to a very high standard and had everything we needed for our stay ,the bed pillows and duvet where good quality and very comfy, we enjoyed our stay

Return Visit

Our second time staying at Skiddaw View for a short winter break. It’s the perfect little apartment for a short stay. Really cosy and comfortable, and excellent town centre location. Definitely hope to be back for a third time.

A relaxing New Year's break

My husband and I, together with our dogs stayed in Skiddaw View between Christmas and New Years. The apartment is located right in the middle of the town, with Fitz's Park right on the doorstep for our active dogs. The parking is directly behind the apartment and very secure. The apartment was warm, extremely well equipped and we enjoyed more evenings in than out- due to the comfort on offer. The Keswick Cottages team were so helpful before the trip, answering all and any questions we had. There is nothing we could fault about our stay in Skiddaw View- we loved every minute and we will certainly be back.

A Little Gem

An ideal retreat for two in the centre if Keswick. Immaculately clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a parking space at the rear of the premises. Would and probably will rebook for any future visit to the area
