Welcome to this charming coastal cottage, the perfect place for families or couples to enjoy a break by the seaside. The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom. This holiday home is a perfect for weekend retreats, family holidays by the sea or couples looking for a romantic break by the sea. Enjoy the sea views from the little balcony just off the master bedroom. The cottage is a dog friendly house too and with the beach being so close, you can enjoy the fantastic walks along the coast to Sandwich Bay or Kingsdown.

Ground floor

You access the cottage though the front door and into the sitting room. A cosy sitting room with two sofas and a small TV.

Dining room

A dining room with a table and chairs to seat four comfortably. There is a door out to the small courtyard garden from the dining room.

Kitchen

A small galley style kitchen with everything you may need to cook home meals. Gas hob, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge and freezer and kettle.

Bathroom

Completing the ground floor accommodation is a small bathroom with a bath, hand-basin and WC.

First Floor

Twin bedroom

A lovely and light bedroom with wardrobe space, a chest of drawers and painted floor boards.

Double bedroom

Double bedroom with painted wooden floor boards, cupboard space, a sink and a little balcony and chair with a sea view.

Courtyard

A small paved courtyard with a table and chairs to seat two guests.

Please note the stairs are typical of an old cottage and would not be suitable for those with limited mobility or toddlers

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages to our beautiful holiday home. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Lovely Cottage, Bathroom not suited to larger people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely, extremely cosy. I didn’t check the listing completely, so didn’t notice the half bath in the bathroom, it was tricky to wash being 6ft, so just be aware when booking!

Close to beach and clean.

A small cottage - ideal for couples - very close to the beach and we were able to park outside for free which is a bonus in Deal. On the downside - we felt that the absence of an instruction manual in the house and book explaining about local facilities was disappointing. There is also no shower - with the shower attached to the bath either providing hot or cold water not a mix of both. Overall it was good value for money and provided a nice break by the sea.

Comfortable, well equipped, conveneinet.

My daughter and two grandsons stayed here. The very much enjoyed their stay. They found the cottage comfortable and well equipped, although it is a bit of a trip to the toilet in the middle of the night! It's very convenient for the beach and a short walk into the town. They were able to park right outside the house much of the time, and nearby the rest of the time. I think it would help visitors if the instructions could say where rubbish should be left on the rubbish collection day.

The bathroom is really small and would benefit a show cubicle as the free standing bath is way too big for a tiny bathroom.also the galley kitchen is very narrow and needs more pots and pans if 4 people are staying in the property.the small courtyard is very scruffy but could be improved with a good coat of paint and new patio table and chairs and new pots and plants it could be made really nice at little cost

A very nice little house - very well located and appointed, but we found it a little small and the stairs are very precipitous!! ( Not ideal for tall people.)
