South Stable: Cosy Stone Retreat with Parking

South Stable is a modern yet characterful cottage in the heart of Alnmouth, a much-loved coastal village. Renovated and furnished to a high standard, it’s the perfect couples’ retreat for exploring the Northumberland Coast. Enjoy a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, Smart TV, WiFi, a cosy king-sized bed and a stylish shower room, all just a short walk from the beach, pubs and local eateries.

Ground Floor:
As you enter South Stable, you'll walk into a raised hallway area with stairs rising to your left to the first floor and two small steps that descend into the lounge area to your right. Behind the staircase, you'll find a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need for a perfect home from experience, including an integrated fridge, dishwasher, single oven and hob, microwave and coffee machine. In the lounge area, you'll find a Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix, a snug sofa, a comfortable armchair, a stereo, and plenty of books to read during your stay. Double patio doors from the lounge area lead out into a private garden.

Please note that Netflix is an app on the smart TV and doesn't have a specific house account. Guests are welcome to use their own Netflix account and any other streaming services available with their login, but please make sure that you log out at the end of your stay.

First Floor:
As you ascend the flight of stairs, you'll be greeted with a welcoming king-sized bed with luxury linens and towels. The owners have made sure everything in this cottage has been finished to the most luxurious of standards, so you can ensure you'll have the most comfortable stay and a restful night's sleep. An internal door leads into a fully functional En-Suite wet room with a toilet, wash hand basin and shower.

Outdoor:
The private outdoor area can be entered through a secure gate by the front door entrance or the double patio doors from the lounge area. With an enclosed patio area with wooden seating, a table and a BBQ, this is a perfect spot to relax and unwind on a summer's evening after exploring the local area.

Parking:
South Stable is one of four properties on the complex and has four car park spaces within the courtyard, one space per property.

Whilst South Stable is a private cottage, it shares a plot with its sister cottages. If you need help booking dates, look at the identical twin cottage Garden Stable, you can find this on the properties listed below. Or if you're staying for a wedding or with a larger group, you may be interested in booking more than one property; take a look at the larger sister properties Spence Lodge and Pope Lodge. This is a perfect way to go on holiday with a larger group whilst still having the privacy of your own individual cottage. The properties share a courtyard and driveway, but each has a private garden at the back.

Pet Rules:
Unfortunately, all the properties at Hallsteads are not pet friendly, this is due to the owners' allergies and is non-negotiable.
