Maison Sconset rénovée avec grande cour privée

Cette maison à l'envers entiÚrement rénovée a un grand plan d'étage ouvert à l'étage avec un plafond voûté. Hors du salon est une grande enveloppe autour du pont avec de grandes brises océaniques et des couchers de soleil occidentaux. Il y a beaucoup d'espace de vie et de repas ainsi qu'une cuisine mise à jour avec tous les nouveaux appareils, y compris une gamme Wolf.

Le rez-de-chaussée a une chambre principale avec salle de bain complÚte en suite ainsi qu'une terrasse privée et une douche extérieure. Deux autres chambres à l'étage ont chacune deux lits jumeaux et une avec un canapé-lit. Il y a une salle de bain complÚte supplémentaire au rez-de-chaussée et une demi-salle de bain à l'étage.

La propriété a une cour fermée surdimensionnée avec beaucoup d'espace et d'intimité pour les enfants à jouer.

Il se trouve Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied ou Ă  vĂ©lo (0,5 mile) de la plage et du village Sconset, qui est un charmant centre d'activitĂ©s avec des restaurants et des magasins de vĂȘtements, un marchĂ© d'approvisionnement, un magasin de crĂšme glacĂ©e et un ocĂ©an face Ă  l'est.

Le dĂ©but de la piste cyclable de Polpis Road, Ă  11 km, est Ă  proximitĂ©, tout comme l'arrĂȘt de bus Wave qui vous emmĂšnera facilement Ă  Nantucket Town en 25 minutes.

Sarah and Tim are wonderful hosts. They were responsive, helpful and seemed to genuinely care that we had a good vacation. The house is delightful! It was immaculate and fully supplied. There was plenty of comfortable furniture, a great deck and nice size yard if you have small kids. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again!

Touch of paradise

Stayed for a week at this lovely home. Had a spectacular time. It's as beautiful as the photos suggest. Wonderful space, well stocked, full amenities, lovely deck to relax on. This is our first time staying at this end of the island. It's a quick walk/bike ride to the beach and small village. Beaches are beautiful! Owners were wonderful to deal with. Whenever we had a question, they were quick to respond. Would highly recommend this home and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Yes, it is!

Light and Bright, as advertised. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms make it very comfortable for two couples. Close enough to ‘Sconset for a morning stroll to get fresh-baked muffins, scones, etc. Excellent, timely, communications from our host were greatly appreciated. Overall, a very relaxing, enjoyable, experience.

Beautiful and Peaceful House for Family Vacation

My husband and our 3 children (ages 6, 8, and 10) just finished a week long stay at this home. Sarah and Tim were fantastic hosts. The location was perfect for our needs. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Sconset Bluff Walk, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is set back far enough from the road that it feels very private. It is also important to note that there is not a lot of traffic on the road and no traffic at night (unlike some other parts of the island closer to town). Our kids enjoyed playing in the back yard. The house itself is lovely. It is tasteful decorated and very clean and cheerful. We loved all of the windows and light! The bedrooms were all very comfortableon the main level, and the kitchen/living/dining is all on the second level. It has a large outdoor deck off of the living room, which was the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The deck had beautiful sunset views. There were many nights we sat on the balcony looking at the stars. The outdoor shower was perfect after a day at the beach. The owners obviously care very much for their home, and it shows. Overall an A+ vacation rental. Could not recommend more highly! Kate and Kerry Hage

Another wonderful week

We had another wonderful week at Keep Calm. The house is lovely and very clean with everything you could possibly need. Sarah was very easy to communicate with and was very welcoming. Restaurants, beaches and the bluff walk are all a wonderful part of Sconset. We can’t wait tor our week next year.

Excellent all around!

Sarah and Tim were great leading up to our stay and was a very easy check in. We love Sconset and the house was perfectly situated far enough yet close enough to town where we could walk in each morning. Plenty of space and the upstairs area was a great open space for our family. We will be back indeed!!

Keep Calm

Keep Calm is the perfect name for this tranquil setting. A spectacularly appointed home in the heart of the Siasconset my favorite area of the island. Just steps away from Claudette’s for sandwiches and coffee or the elegance of the 5 star The Chanticleer and The Summer House restaurants. The hosts are the most amazing and accommodating people, always at the ready to please. I have stayed in over 10 different places on the island over the years. But Sarah and Tim are the reasons that I have come back to Keep Calm three years in a row and for many years to come. Best Pete

Paradise

This is our second time staying at 'Keep Calm' and it just keeps getting better. Tim and Sarah are incredible hosts, accommodating, communicative and impeccable owners of this gorgeous home. Keep Calm - Second Stay

Second time we stayed at Keep Calm. It's a fantastic property. Great yard for kids to run around. Second floor living brings in the morning light and evening sunsets. The home is even better in-person and Sarah is great to communicate with. We'll be back!

Wonderful rental home!

We had the best stay in this home. Not only was the house very clean and well appointed but Tim and Sarah were such lovely hosts. Bedroom layout and living space was very comfortable and the home lived very well for our family of 5 (plus a babysitter). It's on wonderful piece of property with great outdoor space and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen and home had everything we needed and everything felt new and fresh. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends who rent in this area. You should book and enjoy a restful and comfortable stay at Keep Calm!

Perfect Stay for a Family Trip

We had such a lovely stay at Keep Calm for our family’s vacation to Nantucket. We were traveling with a 4 year old and a 5 month old, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Sarah was very helpful and communicative leading up to and during the trip. The house is an approx 10 min walk to Sconset, which was easy to do with a stroller for the baby and was manageable for the 4 yo to do on foot. We rented bikes through Young’s (they delivered them to the house) and so we made frequent use of the Polpis bike path that begins just steps from the house. All in all, everyone agrees this was one of our best vacations ever (which is not easy to do with two little ones), and so much of that success is due to the fantastic accommodations provided by Sarah and Tim. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

A perfect week

A perfect week in a perfect house. This house is as comfortable and clean as it is beautiful! We wanted for nothing. Everything you could possibly need was in the house and communication with Sarah was easy and prompt. We are converts to ‘Sconset and will rent here from now on. We have already booked for next year! Excellent Location in Nantucket/Sconset

I have stayed in many houses on Nantucket Island and this is among the best. Nice property and beautiful home inside and out, as accurately depicted in the photographs in the listing. Clean and comfortable with a great layout and lovely spaces inside and outside. Has everything you need and then some. This is a great location in Sconset. Sankaty Light and the Sconset Bluff Walk are within walking distance, as are Sconset Market and nearby restaurants and shops (Chanticleer, Claudette's, Sconset Cafe). Owners were pleasant and always quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again.

We are a family of 5 who has been going to Nantucket for most of our lives. Tim has been going to Nantucket his entire life and Sarah was introduced to the island in high school and has made an effort to be there annually almost every year since then. Tim and Sarah have 3 kids and live in Darien, CT. The photo that we posted is with our kids. Nantucket is our 'happy place' and we hope it becomes yours too! We chose the name 'Keep Calm' for the home because we both have roots in the UK and because Nantucket soothes our souls and keeps us calm. We hope that it has that same effect on you too. Enjoy your vacation!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This home is small enough that you don't feel that you have a lot of upkeep, but is big enough that you're not cramped. It is clean, new and unfussy. The furnishings are designed for relaxing after a fun day at the beach (or whatever activity you were up to) and the light fixtures are modern and fun. We invested in good mattresses, feather duvets & pillows and quality linens so that you feel like you're at home. We use this home too, so we wanted it to be comfortable.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The upside-down nature of the house means that you get to enjoy the breezes and views that Nantucket has to offer. You can even see the fireworks display in town if you have a clear night on the 4th of July. The decks outside are great for a sunrise coffee, a sunset cocktail or any other time that you want to relax outside. We have a basket of blankets near the door to keep away the chill so that you can enjoy the outside for longer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all sorts of equipment.
The large yard allows for setting up a badminton set, playing frisbee or whatever you choose.
