Situé au coeur des villages historiques de l'île Dauphin, Al. Quartier calme à proximité des magasins, restaurants et magasins, tous accessibles à pied. La maison se trouve au milieu de trois lots avec beaucoup d'espace pour garer votre embarcation de plaisance à proximité. Grand porche pour profiter de votre café du matin et écouter le chant des oiseaux. Trois grandes chambres et une autre zone de couchage dans un grand porche fermé. La plage du golfe est à environ un mile et la plage nord, à environ deux rues de la maison. Tous à distance de marche.

This property is great! It is an old house, so you get what you get, we loved it. We spent the majority of the time traveling the island or on the beach. Rent golf carts from locals and everything is close!

Such a lovely cottage, beautiful island decor. Perfect location with shade. Absolutely loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying morning coffee, everybody that would walk by would wave or say hello. Margie was always quick to respond any questions.

Best vacation ever

We loved staying on the island. The house was very nice and as described. Cornhole boards, ladder ball, bikes and a grill to use included. The owners were very sweet and helpful. Our family loved staying there and look forward to coming back!

Too rustic for us

This house is clean and beds are comfortable but that’s where the positive review ends. The neighborhood is very rustic. The house itself is very run down on the outside with a bright colored paint. Inside is a comfortable living room, dining room but there are many signs of water damage on the sides of furniture and floor boards. The kitchen is functional but there is little in the way of amenities. No garbage bags. The back area (sunroom) is old and the back area (where the grill is) is overgrown with a rickety porch and a pitiful table. This owner really needs to update this house in a myriad of ways. It is not up to par for VRBO my opinion.

We stayed at the Sprinkle Villa May 22-24, 2026. We were a party of 4, my husband and I and our 2 grandchildren. When we first arrived and entered the residence, everything seemed okay but that quickly changed. Upon inspection of the home, we immediately noticed that there was roach droppings(poop)in almost every room of the house, it was excessive. I also spotted a live roach crawling in the living room. The droppings were found in kitchen cabinets, kitchen drawers, bathrooms, windowsills, floors, bedrooms, etc, it was everywhere and very unhygienic. The property lists a bathtub, in essence there is one although I would not make my worst enemy take a bath in it. It was stained, roach poop on side of tub and the faucet was corroded, it was unusable. In the accommodations it was also stated that there would be fresh fruit and other amenities provided, none of which was provided. We also went out and purchased toilet paper and paper towels because we couldn’t locate those items to restock either. It wasn’t until the day we checked out that we discovered those basic amenities in a bedroom closet, which that info was not disclosed to us. The ice maker was broken, my husband got a picture of the inside of it, disgusting, I’m actually glad that it wasn’t in working order. The coffee pot was disgusting and there was one pan that had been burnt on the bottom that no one cared to clean or replace. The back porch was a joke, mildew and grime so thick that it looked like it hadn’t been

We had a great time at Dauphin Island. This home was at the center of the island, or it seemed like it. The drive to the beach or anywhere on the island was easy from the house. The home owner was very sweet and responsive if we had a question or needed anything. I loved we could wash all of our beach stuff off outside the house too.

My husband has been a life long resident of Dauphin Island, Al. And I've been here as long as we've been married. And that a long time. We have three children and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. We've raised our children here one this beautiful island. We love everything about this island from the beaches, boating, biking, and bird watching.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property has been in the family for generations. So when it came available to buy we purchased it from the family. It had belonged to my husband grandmother and its the home where he grew up. It means a lot to us. Making it a vacation rental allows us to share it with other people. We treasure all those who have visited. It sits in the middle of three lots and joins the property where we live. We are never to far away to lend a helping hand or give some good advice on where to go to the beach or a great place to eat. Great seafood can be found at most restaurants.
