House is about 15 minutes from La Fortuna in Chachagua. Host is very responsive and helpful during the stay. The house is located on her property and has a private drive. Chachagua is a more authentic Costa Rican town than La Fortuna, and some houses in Chachagua may make some people uneasy. We felt safe in the house and didn’t have any concerns, since the host’s family lives nearby.

What a beautiful place! Carol was excellent at communicating. We loved our stay here. This house had everything we needed! Our kids loved the pool, and I loved how quiet everything was. It is truly beautiful view! Highly recommend staying here versus the hotels in town!

Worth the drive to Casa Victoria! We loved this property – our favourite of all we rented in Costa Rica. The hosts go out of their way to provide a memorable vacation experience. The house is lovely, roomy and very clean; great for a family stay. The pool and grounds on the edge of the forest are beautifully landscaped and maintained. We enjoyed both the farm tour and the private dining experience. We can highly recommend this property as a unique and welcoming part of a trip to the La Fortuna area.

Hosts Carol and Ademar have a beautiful, modern house, very well maintained, has a nice swimming pool. Its location amidst forest (we saw a sloth on the tree next to the house) makes it a location within the nature. Very clean. Everything worked wonderfully well.

This is the best VRBO rental we have ever had, hands down. The location is on a small farm about 15 min out of La Fortuna.It is quiet and private and felt very secure. We saw toucans, mot-mots, parrots and a family of howler monkeys from the pool deck.The owners gave us a tour of the farm, provided us with fresh eggs and fruit and even brought us aloe for a sunburn.Communication was excellent before and during our stay and we were given a great guide book about the property and businesses in the area.The house is beautiful; comfortably furnished and immaculately clean.We had ample high quality towels and bedding and the kitchen was better equipped than my own with dishes for 10 and cookware/bakeware for anything you could want to make. There was AC throughout the house (not just the bedrooms), WiFi and smart TV worked great.The pool is cleaned daily and has comfortable lounge furniture and pool toys.If I ran a VRBO this is the standard I would aspire to. If it's available book it!!

You cannot go wrong booking this beautiful home. The host are hands-down, the kindest people who want to make sure you have a great stay. The home is gorgeous and safe and the kitchen has everything you need plus more. A little drive out of Fortuna which we came to appreciate after the first day to experience the real countryside of Costa Rica. The hosts took us on a tour of their beautiful farm. Our kids ages five to ten loved this as well. Our only regret was not booking the in-home chef home to cook us a dinner. Next time! Thank you so much for hosting us. 10/10 property and experience.

Carol and Ademar were incredible. This place was our favorite ever stay, the view is incredible. Casa Victoria was clean, welcoming, and cozy! The attention to detail here is beyond imagination. We will absolutely stay here again!

This property is exactly what you see in the listing. VERY nice home. Secluded yet 20mins to town. The hosts were very responsive when we contacted them and we even got to see their little farm. We missed our dogs so much and got to play with theirs. We held their Tucan, got fresh eggs and tried cocoa straight from the tree. We had a wonderful time and will consider this property again if we return to the area in the future. Thank you so much.

When we were looking for a place to stay in Costa Rica, we wanted somewhere that wasn’t commercialized and where we could really embrace the culture. This home checked all the boxes.The farm is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the fresh eggs and bananas, and seeing so much wildlife including monkeys, sloths, and toucans. One of my favorite memories will always be sitting with my morning coffee overlooking the jungle and watching the monkeys play in the trees. Pure jungle magic.Carol and Ademar were incredibly welcoming and shared knowledge about their farm with us, which made the experience even more special. We also loved the family’s dogs stopping by to say hello.The location was perfect. Close enough to town and attractions, but far enough away to truly experience Costa Rican culture. The home was very clean, well stocked, and perfect for our family of six. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and this lake girl loved sitting outside each morning with coffee taking in the view.We would absolutely stay here again.

The house is exactly as described and is impressive, we loved the house and property, it was a highlight of our trip. As a bonus we had several monkeys climbing in the trees on the property. It's a longer drive then we expected to excursions around La Fortuna but we would stay at this property again when we return. The communication with the owner (Carol) was excellent, highly recommend for visiting La Fortuna area.

Carol and Ademar, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. From the fresh farm eggs, comfortable clean house that felt like home to the most serene gorgeous landscape around us, our family had the most perfect vacation in the la fortuna area.
