Villa Marcela is located 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna, the house is an excellent option for families, friends and couples traveling together. There are 4 bedrooms with A/C units, three full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen area, WIFI (15 Megabytes) and Cable TV. Relaxing private pool and BBQ area to enjoy after your daily adventures. Great option to explore La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, very close to all main attractions.

Comfortable Villa just 3 minutes away from the central park of La Fortuna, great option for extended families and groups of friends.

Bedroom distribution:
Bedroom 1: King sized bed, private bathroom and A/C unit.
Bedroom 2: Full and single bed with A/C unit.
Bedroom 3: Two full beds with A/C unit.
Bedroom 4: Queen bed, A/C unit and private bathroom.
***This bedroom is outside the house by the pool area.
***Maximum people staying in the house is 11, however the base rate per night is for 6 people, each additional person will have an extra cost of US$25 per person per night so please add the total of people staying to get the correct amount to pay.

The villa is completely private for our guests, you do not share with anyone; we have other properties close by but each one has it own private entrance, every space between guests is separated. Property caretakers live on site taking care about maintenance of everything. Please check all of our house rules and add all the people staying, the house rate depends on how many people is staying, including kids.

We offer FREE PLANNING SERVICE for your transportation and tours in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, just let us know what you would like to do and we will help you to organize your vacations in our country with excellent rates and service. Once you book our property we will send you a detailed document with information about activities, transportation and more things about La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. Also we can help you plan your tours in La Fortuna with the best rates, just let us know what you have on your mind and we will help you creating an itinerary during your stay.

Also we can help you arrange Costa Rican meal at La Casa de La Tortilla (Just steps away from your house), which is located by the property and Guiselle and Antonio will be glad to host you and prepare the bests Costa Rican meals, in their house they have a little restaurant and a typical Costa Rican kitchen where they serve the meals, once you book you can ask for the menu and in case you want we can get you private chef services in the house.

Everything was perfect!! Host was welcoming, He arranged a private rafting experience for us that was incredible. The home was spacious, clean, and air conditioned. Nice pool with fluffy beach towels! Fenced in property, so we felt very safe! Highly recommend!

Great spot near town and plenty of birds out back including toucans for bird watching. one of the showers had an overflowing issue due to clogged drain and they sent someone to fix it promptly although the slope of the shower floor isnt quite right still but thats not easily fixable. Plenty of toilet paper and the host booked activities for us and answered all my questions

Our stay at Villa Marcela was excellent. The house was clean, beds were very comfortable, nice living room and kitchen. The house is located near town (La Fortuna) and well protected by a security gate. The host met us at the house when we arrived to explain how to operate the A/C units, the safe, internet connection, TV, and more. I highly recommend Villa Marcela.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Costa Rica property! The space was very inviting comfortable and extremely accommodating for all of our needs. Everything was spotless and very well maintained which made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. Our group really appreciated no perfume smells and no bleach smell. We also loved that it was all one level. It made it very accommodating for everyone. The location was amazing, everything we wanted to do was just minutes away and nothing was more than about a half hour drive. It made exploring the area so convenient. We were so close to many amazing restaurants. The property was gated. We had a remote so we could come and go as we wanted. That made us feel very safe and it was incredibly quiet no traffic noise at all. It was the perfect peaceful retreat.Communication with the host was outstanding anytime. I had a question and sent a message. They responded very promptly and we’re always helpful.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

We had a really great stay at Villa Marcela. It is perfectly located just off the main road in La Fortuna so you are close to all the action but out of the way a bit. There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more.

We had a wonderful time at this location! From the moment we were greeted at the property to the time we drove away we were comfortable! The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and the air-conditioning in each bedroom worked well. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary dishes. The pool was beautiful and we felt safe! We would come back to this location and would highly recommend!!

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.
On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lot of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get from them.

Adding The House of Tours we hire Alonso Esquivel which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place.

Once you book with us you will have access to our Drive Carpet with Check In information, general information about La Fortuna, restaurants recommendations, amazing discounts in all activities, special packages, rent a car with Adobe (The best one in Costa Rica), shuttles services from anyplace in Costa Rica and more detailed information to make things easier for you; if you have questions of anything you need just send us a message a we will get back to you very soon.
