This beautifully appointed 2 double bedroomed (king/twin size) apartment makes an excellent base for a relaxing holiday on the prestigious West Coast of Barbados within the parish of St James. Set within the idyllic resort community of Sugar Hill, this apartment has wonderful views over the free-form pool and sublime tropical gardens.

The Master Bedroom has air conditioning and en-suite Bathroom with double vanity unit, full bath and large walk-in shower. The Second/Guest Bedroom also has air conditioning, plus en-suite shower. Both bedrooms have private doors leading out on to the large balcony overlooking the freeform pool and mature tropical gardens, which are delightful. The Lounge area is well furnished and also has doors leading directly on to the balcony, where you will find a large dining table for al fresco dining and two relaxing chairs. There is cable TV, high speed internet and telephone for local calls only. If you you wish to self cater there is a well equipped Kitchen area plus Laundry Room. Housekeeping will attend 2-3 times a week to suit.

The apartment is located on the first floor, which provides beautiful views of the grounds, and access is provided via an elevator or by taking the stairs. All communal areas are extremely well maintained. Sugar Hill is a private gated community with 24hour security personnel.

Just 200 yards walk away is Sugar Hill's centrally located Clubhouse with stunning large infinity pool with spectacular views looking out towards the Caribbean Sea. Here you'll find "The Deck at Sugar Hill" restaurant and bar - the perfect spot to just relax and enjoy their delicious food and cocktails. The Clubhouse also holds the reception, with friendly staff always on hand happy to help with taxis etc. Adjacent to the Clubhouse is the fully equipped air conditioned gym for your use, with excellent changing facilities. Four floodlit tennis courts are opposite the clubhouse available for complimentary use for all residents / guests.

In addition to the facilities within Sugar Hill, we are fortunate to also have access to the beach club located at The Royal Fairmont Hotel, which is only five minutes away by car. This location is one of the West Coast's most beautiful stretches of beach. Sun beds are provided free of charge. If you wish to enjoy any of the water sports on offer this can be arranged at the beach club, however these are chargeable. For golfers there are the well known clubs of Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane or Apes Hill close by. There are many fine restaurants located in the area namely, The Lone Star, Tides, Paul Owens at The Beach House (former Chef at The Cliff), Sea Shed (Mullins Beach), and Cin Cin - the list goes on. There is an extensive fully stocked supermarket in Holetown, just a few minutes away by car if you wish to self-cater.
