La casetta di Foscolo is a place that ensured a comfort and well equipped experience. Placed in a quiet area just a few minutes walking from the main places of Venice such as San Marco and Rialto. This apartment is surrounded by many activities and restaurants. This is the perfect choice for families with kids given the tools made available precisely thought for children.

The apartment is on the ground floor and it has a main bedroom, an open spaced living room connected with the kitchen.

Comfort is guaranteed by the followings:

kettle, Italian coffee machine, coffee maker with Nescafè coffee pods, microwave, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, drying rack...

Entertainment is also made available by free wifi, flat screen tv, and the many restaurants and attractions of the city.

Air condition and heating match the necessity of the guests, together with the new generation memory foam mattress necessary for a good night sleep, after a long day of sightseeing.

Casetta di Foscolo welcomes also small guests, proving child seat, wc adapter, crib, baby bottle, stroller (0-36 months), changing table and much more.

The apartment was just as pictured online, and was very clean. It provided just the right space to rest and clean up after a long day of touring and to make plans in the morning for our next outing. Otherwise, we did not spend spare time there. Air conditioning was efficient and worked well. Opening shutters adds some natural light. I suggest not opening windows to keep out mosquitos. Location was a quiet spot, and reasonably close to the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square & Basilica, and the Doge Palace.

The apartment looks like the photos, was in a good location, and had an easy check in process. If you’re sensitive to mildew / moldy smell like I am, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was so hot, the A/C didn’t work, and the smell was overwhelming. We decided to cut our stay short for that reason.

Only issue was the listing said washer/ dryer and there was no dryer and took days for clothes to dry. Nice place, close to everything!

This was a great place to stay. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes walk to San Marco and the Vapporetto stations. It was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again.

The location was great and the check in directions were easy to follow. There is only a washer - no dryer, and nothing will dry easily. The space is not very functional for more than a couple. There was a very strong moldy smell inside which was a problem for me. There were no trash bags in the bins or to be found anywhere. Again, the location was great and we were out and about as much as possible.

Great stay! Very nice staff and very clean apartment. Location was good, easy walking distance to the main areas for shopping and dining but still very quiet at night. Would definitely love to stay here again.

The area is a little off the beaten path so it’s very nice and quiet. This also means you have to walk a bit further to the sites than other properties. The communication was great and the place had everything we needed.

The apartment was spacious, and the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The location was excellent, and the managing agency responded promptly to our messages.Here are a couple of experiences that may be helpful to future guests:Online check-in and personal data: Before arrival, we were required to complete an online check-in form, including uploading passport images and a selfie of each traveller. Despite several communications with the managing agency, we were informed that the selfies would be deleted after 10 days. Nevertheless, we felt uncomfortable especially that of our minor daughter. However, we had to submit them as this was a mandatory part of the check-in procedure.Contract: Another mandatory requirement was to sign a contract, which was provided in Italian. We requested an English version, but we did not receive one before we signed the contract.Air conditioning: There were two air-conditioning units, they blew air, but it was not sufficiently cold, and the room remained hot, stuffy, and humid. When we raised the issue, the agency responded that it was a hot season in Venice, and no further measures were taken. Overall, our stay could have been significantly improved if our needs and concerns had been more adequately addressed and supported.

A beautiful walk to old town along the river, just under a mile. Pizzeria and a desert cafe very close by. Clothes washer was a little tricky, so get a thorough orientation. Otherwise, it was great stay.

Great Venice Apartment

Perfect for our family of 3. Fantastic location - can walk everywhere and close distance to St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace and Rialto Bridge. So many restaurants and shops everywhere. Easy to communicate with hosts - very friendly.
