La casetta di Foscolo is a place that ensured a comfort and well equipped experience. Placed in a quiet area just a few minutes walking from the main places of Venice such as San Marco and Rialto. This apartment is surrounded by many activities and restaurants. This is the perfect choice for families with kids given the tools made available precisely thought for children.

The apartment is on the ground floor and it has a main bedroom, an open spaced living room connected with the kitchen.

Comfort is guaranteed by the followings:

kettle, Italian coffee machine, coffee maker with Nescafè coffee pods, microwave, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, drying rack...

Entertainment is also made available by free wifi, flat screen tv, and the many restaurants and attractions of the city.

Air condition and heating match the necessity of the guests, together with the new generation memory foam mattress necessary for a good night sleep, after a long day of sightseeing.

Casetta di Foscolo welcomes also small guests, proving child seat, wc adapter, crib, baby bottle, stroller (0-36 months), changing table and much more.

The apartment looks like the photos, was in a good location, and had an easy check in process. If you’re sensitive to mildew / moldy smell like I am, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It was so hot, the A/C didn’t work, and the smell was overwhelming. We decided to cut our stay short for that reason.

The location was great and the check in directions were easy to follow. There is only a washer - no dryer, and nothing will dry easily. The space is not very functional for more than a couple. There was a very strong moldy smell inside which was a problem for me. There were no trash bags in the bins or to be found anywhere. Again, the location was great and we were out and about as much as possible.

This was a great place to stay. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes walk to San Marco and the Vapporetto stations. It was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay again.

nice little apartment just off the main path and away from all of the tourists but just a short walk to where all the action is. check in and checkout was very easy.

Nice and quiet

The area is a little off the beaten path so it’s very nice and quiet. This also means you have to walk a bit further to the sites than other properties. The communication was great and the place had everything we needed.

This was a great place in a good location in Venice. It was quiet and far enough removed from touristy areas to give us a taste of the “real” Venice! Our only issue was with check in. We arrived at 2:45, and were not able to check in even 15 minutes early, leaving us stranded on the streets of Venice after an overnight international flight. We understand check-in time was 3:00pm, but the lack of flexibility for such a short amount of time was a bit frustrating. We did not receive any check-in information until mid morning the day of, including address and access info. There was also an issue with the locks - we were not aware that the front door shouldn’t be locked with the key. This was not made clear in the information we did receive. A neighbor in the building approached us and was rather unkind, raising her voice at us for several minutes for not “knowing better”. When we reached out to the host about this ordeal, that communication was not super helpful.Other than check-in and communication, this was a lovely stay in a lovely city.

However, we would like to clarify a few aspects of your review. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, as clearly stated in the booking conditions. While we understand the fatigue associated with a long journey, it is not possible to guarantee access to the apartment before the scheduled check-in time, as the necessary cleaning and preparation procedures are still being carried out between stays. The check-in instructions, address details, and access information were sent within our usual timeframe. We also understand that, upon arrival, your phone battery was depleted, which may have made it difficult to review the information that had already been provided. Instructions regarding the building entrance door were also included in the information sent to you. The neighbour who approached you did so because she had been unable to leave the building due to the entrance door being locked incorrectly. While we understand that her tone may have been perceived as unfriendly, her complaint was the result of a genuine inconvenience she was experiencing at that moment. We are nevertheless pleased that you enjoyed the apartment and its location and that, despite these incidents, you had an enjoyable stay in Venice. Kind regards.

A beautiful walk to old town along the river, just under a mile. Pizzeria and a desert cafe very close by. Clothes washer was a little tricky, so get a thorough orientation. Otherwise, it was great stay.
