Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience and for appreciating the apartment’s location, which allows guests to enjoy a more authentic and peaceful side of Venice. However, we would like to clarify a few aspects of your review. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, as clearly stated in the booking conditions. While we understand the fatigue associated with a long journey, it is not possible to guarantee access to the apartment before the scheduled check-in time, as the necessary cleaning and preparation procedures are still being carried out between stays. The check-in instructions, address details, and access information were sent within our usual timeframe. We also understand that, upon arrival, your phone battery was depleted, which may have made it difficult to review the information that had already been provided. Instructions regarding the building entrance door were also included in the information sent to you. The neighbour who approached you did so because she had been unable to leave the building due to the entrance door being locked incorrectly. While we understand that her tone may have been perceived as unfriendly, her complaint was the result of a genuine inconvenience she was experiencing at that moment. We are nevertheless pleased that you enjoyed the apartment and its location and that, despite these incidents, you had an enjoyable stay in Venice. Kind regards.
