Perfect peace

What a lovely place to go for a holiday! It had everything - A unique cottage in a beautiful setting next to a lovely pub! I will remember sitting on the verandah watching the sun set over the river and mountains for a long time! And... I haven't mentioned the friendly toll booth staff and the excellent service - thank- you. I actually can't think of anything.

Really loved our stay here

A great location for walks and enjoying the Mawddach estuary. The cottage was ideal - we didn't feel bothered by the bridge traffic (which stops from early evening through to the morning), and the accommodation felt very private. Through the week the team of toll-keepers were very friendly and chatty. We hope to come again.

Excellent holiday in a beautiful place.

Lovely quirky unique cottage in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed. Great log burner. The George third hotel & bar very near with great food. Toll bridge staff were very helpful and friendly. Great way to see in the new year! Great holiday & we will definitely be back.

It was just brilliant. Would stay again without hesitation.

Self catering bare essentials provided but good shop 2 miles away in town. Fabulous historic and homely place to stay and dog friendly too. Great spot for walking & hiking and exploring a beautiful corner of North Wales.

Unique, quirky fun

The accommodation provides all that you need for a cozy, comfortable stay. All mod cons in a beautiful area. Although the weather did not cooperate the outside lounge area provides excellent views of the estuary

Perfect: beautiful location, unique property, dog friendly, decent WiFi and convenient parking.

The location was stunningly beautiful. The property was quirky (quite unique), warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. WiFi worked perfectly and parking was very convenient. Plus they allow dogs.

Unique cottage in a great location

Beautiful setting with stunning views and lovely cozy and well equipped cottage. Just right for 2 people. Friendly toll keepers with lots of useful local knowledge. Easy access to superb walking and a nearby pub. Loved the extra little touches such as the mini Christmas tree and lights as our stay was mid December. A bit disappointed with the shower which was very weak. Otherwise everything was perfect

Beautiful location, stunning views. Lovely local pub with good food. Bridge keepers helpful and chatty, reccomending local walks,a great base to explore further if wanted. Bridge itself well equipped and clean, log fire just made the stay even better.

Cosy cabin on a bridge!

The setting of the wee cottage at the end of the toll bridge made for a quirky experience and the wider setting of hills and the estuary was beautiful. It was perfect.
