mixed feelings
I’ve booked this apartment for 6 nights and would describe my stay as OK but not outstanding.
First of all, I struggled to enter the building for over 30 minutes since I couldn’t find where to put the code (you have to tap on the black field underneath the door handle - not the button- for the numbers to appear). If you know these kinds of locks it’s not a problem but I’ve talked separately to two other people staying there who both struggled with the door as well. Furthermore the entrance is behind some trash cans, next to a pile of bulky waste and with broken doorbells on the wall. This unwelcoming atmosphere continued in the hallway which was dirty and had broken cabinets and towel piles at the sides.
The actual apartment was very small as expected but clean and in a better state than the hallway. Having a stove, an oven, a toaster, a microwave, fridge and freezer as well as a hairdryer and an iron was definitely a nice advantage. Unfortunately, the tableware which consisted of a random amount of cutlery and plates/bowls was not clean. Something I might have overlooked while booking is that there is only one duvet which you want to consider if you are not willing to share with your travel partner.
A positive aspect of this apartment is the location. You will find a bigger supermarket only two minutes away and the next underground station with good connection to London‘s city center is reachable within five minutes.
