This is the best place where you can stay in Polignano a Mare. Il Gelso Bianco is a large 3 bedroom apartment with a fantastic sea-view and a pool on the terrace. It is very central, only a few steps away from the famous Grotta Palazese restaurant, the Lama Monachile beach bay and the pedestrian area. Il Gelso Bianco is set in a ideal location: a few steps from the sea and on Via Roma, full of restaurants and local traditional shops. The apartment has been recently refurbished at the highest standard. It has 3 double bedrooms, all with a space outside, 4 sun kissed balconies and a large roof terrace, equipped with a corner sofa, sun loungers, table and chairs, and an umbrella and a pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, induction hob, etc). You will feel at home yet in a beautiful new place.

Beautiful Il Gelso Bianco

Our family stayed in Il Gelso Bianco 7/6-7/8. The property was beautiful in a great location!! Barbara was so helpful to us and assisted us with making reservations and navigating the area. She was in constant communication with us and our stay was just perfect.

We had a fabulous stay enjoying exploring puglia and a couple of lazy days on the roof terrace too. The apartment was perfect, well equipped, central location and all our needs were met. Birthday celebrations in Polignano

The property was lovely! Accommodated 6 of us, 3 kids and 3 adults. Perfectly located in the heart of the action. Stunning rooftop. Clean. Barbara, property owner, was incredible to deal with. In all my travels I've never had someone so attentive to every need and accommodating. She helped us organize activities, restaurants and an in home chef. She was always accessible and I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Here’s an updated version that includes Barbara’s assistance:We had a wonderful stay at Barbara’s property. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the area. Barbara was an exceptional host, her communication was prompt and helpful, and her restaurant recommendations were some of the highlights of our trip.One thing future guests should know is that the apartment is a penthouse with approximately 2½ flights of narrow stairs and no elevator. We were traveling with two older family members and several large suitcases, so the climb was challenging. Barbara thoughtfully arranged a porter (for an additional fee) to carry our luggage, and we were very grateful for that service. The staircase is quite narrow with low headroom, so the porter definitely earned every penny.While the accommodations are priced toward the higher end, the penthouse location, comfort, outstanding hospitality, and Barbara’s local recommendations made the experience well worth the cost. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone comfortable navigating the stairs.

Our stay at Gelso Bianco was exceptional from beginning to end. Barbara was an outstanding host, readily available both before our trip and throughout our stay. She welcomed us with a thoughtful gift of a bottle of local Rosato wine and delicious taralli, which was a wonderful introduction to the region.Barbara went above and beyond by arranging a relaxing day at Le Palme Beach Club, including transportation, and she also organized assistance with our luggage. This was greatly appreciated because, as accurately described in the listing, the apartment is reached by a significant number of steps, some of them narrow. Having help with the bags made our arrival effortless.The apartment itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as pictured. We were four travelers in our seventies and, despite the stairs, had no difficulty navigating them during our stay.The location could not have been better. Situated in the heart of the centro storico, we were just steps from wonderful shops, outstanding restaurants, and an easy walk to the spectacular Lama Monachile beach.One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace and plunge pool. It was the perfect place to unwind in the evenings while watching the lively atmosphere of the historic streets below. It provided a peaceful retreat after days spent exploring Puglia.We would not hesitate to stay at Gelso Bianco again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the authentic Polignano a Mare experience !

I immediately fell in love with Polignano a mare, its splendid cliffs overlooking the sea, the crystal waters and the genuine food. The red ground rich of olive threes, the surrounding so full of cities to visit , the white stones of the buildings, the people so welcoming and friendly.
