We absolutely loved our stay at The Old Stable. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. Brilliant large enclosed garden and a paddock where our dog could run about. Location is close to the coast and to amenities but quiet and peaceful, Off road parking too. We could not fault it, what a great property!

Lovely accommodation

This was our 2nd visit to the Old Stable and we loved it as much this time. The place is clean and tidy and was very spacious for 2 of us and our dog. Our dog loved the large garden and the paddock at the back was great for the dog and to practice hitting a few golf balls. The weather was good which helped and was nice to sit outside. We will definitely be back again as we find it very comfortable and its in a quiet location.

Another great stay

We love it there and have been there many times. The location is perfect and just a short drive away from some lovely beaches. Our fox red lab loves the big garden and the field behind too - perfect for exercise first thing in the morning! Recommend the curry takeaway in potter Heigham - they deliver! We will be back!

Perfect location to explore the east Norfolk coast

A very clean and well equipped cottage, close to Winterton-on-Sea and Hemsby. Ideal for those staying with a dog as the garden is safely enclosed and the paddock provides an excellent additional resource for stretching your furry friends legs. With everything working perfectly this property is the best rental we have experienced in the area so would recommend and hope to return.

Lovely house - would highly recommend

This was our second visit to The Old Stable and I would highly recommend. The house was clean, well equipped and had everything you’d need. The garden is huge and a fantastic place for children (and dogs) to run around in - with a lovely view of the fields - we spotted a few deer in the distance too! The welcome visit was a very nice touch too! We really loved our stay there. There is a lot to do within the area, Winterton beach is lovely and just short distance away.

I want to live here !

What a lovely place. So perfect for our needs. The big secure garden was brilliant for us and the dogs, and the paddock next door was great for a quick walk before heading to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, really comfy beds and sofa and nice bathroom. The second loo was very handy. Lots of storage space for coats and boots which was brilliant as our coats were very wet the first two days. We will return.

Happy Holidays

We had a lovely week at The Old Stable, the weather has been amazing. We stayed here last year, but this year my Aunt & Uncle have been staying in Robin's Rest. The barn is well equipped, lovely and clean and very well presented. We love staying here but a few tweaks would be nice, e.g. a new sofa, a couple of fans (it has been very hot in the barn this week even with the windows open) and also summer weight duvets would be appreciated in the main summer months (June to September). If the garden was as well equipped as next door (Robin's Rest) it would be perfect. Freddie (cocker spaniel) has loved every minute in the garden and thank you for making him so welcome. The welcome pack was a lovely touch.
