Lac Lamoka - Escale Stevens Lane

Stevens Lane Getaway accepte maintenant les locations hebdomadaires.

Le lac Lamoka est un lac plus petit, noté comme «l'un des secrets les mieux gardés de New York». Nous sommes nichés entre le lac Seneca et le lac Keuka. Le lac Lamoka est excellent pour la pêche, le canotage, le tubing, le ski nautique et le kayak, ainsi que toute autre activité sur le lac que vous aimez. Nous sommes idéalement situés entre Watkins Glen, Penn Yan et Hammondsport - "Coolest Small Town in America!"
Nous sommes à 15-20 minutes du Watkins Glen International Speedway, du Windmill Farm and Craft Market, du Seneca Lake Wine Trail et du Keuka Lake Wine Trail, parmi de nombreuses autres attractions locales.

Notre "tr-ottage" est en avant et au centre du lac, avec une vue incroyable. C'est très paisible car vous vous détendez sur le pont au-dessous des grands chênes. Nous avons 2 chambres (lits queen dans chaque) et un canapé-lit. Il ya une salle de bain complète, et la cuisine est équipée d'un micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière, cuisinière à gaz, réfrigérateur et une machine à café Keurig. Nous limitons le nombre de nos invités à 6 invités, les invités supplémentaires nécessitent une pré-approbation.

L'hébergement à l'extérieur comprend un quai pour vos activités de pêche ou pour attacher votre bateau, un foyer, une table de pique-nique, un barbecue au charbon de bois et une petite terrasse avec des sièges. Pour votre plaisir aquatique, nous avons à votre disposition un pédalo, une chaloupe et 2 kayaks. Du bois de chauffage est également disponible sur place.

Cozy place at the lake.

My family enjoyed staying at the Getaway for a week. The location a few steps from a dock made the stay fun. The boats that came with the rental kept my sons and I busy exploring the lake and fishing. We all enjoyed the view.

Cute cottage directly on the lake. My son loved being able to use the kayak and paddle around the lake. My husband was able to catch fish right from the dock. Sally and George were awesome and helped make our trip much more enjoyable.

Away from it all

We had such a great stay here for a week. Being right on the lake brought the four of us the peace and quiet we were all hoping for. Two of us could get cell service and two of us couldn't. My husband and I never missed our phones once. It was just so nice to be steps away from the water. There were kayaks for us to use, paddle boat and a row boat. We used all of them. And that great country fresh air led to some great naps and sleeping. We only ventured out a few days. Lot's of things to do in the area. Our hosts were very gracious and so fun to talk to. We had a great time. So quaint and cozy. Thanks so much

Peaceful, great views, not so good swimming

Owners George and Sally are fantastic hosts. We felt very welcome and they took care of all our needs/requests/inquiries. My grandchildren even found great friends with their grandchildren. The property is very peaceful with lots of great views of nature. Fishing off the dock was fun for the grandkids. Even though the online advertisement of the property does not provide details about swimming (other than swimming listed as "nearby activities" available) be warned that the water is very mucky, weeds/seaweed and lily pads and a swampy odor make it an unpleasant swimming area. We would stay at this location again if we plan on another visit to the area. Overall, the whole family had a wonderful, restful, friendly stay at the "Trottage". ~The Stevens Family

Perfect for nature lovers

Two friends and I stayed at Sally and George’s rustic camp “Getaway.” Our beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the openness of the kitchen/living room area as well as the many updates to it. We thoroughly enjoyed eating on the deck while we watched Herons, Eagles and Ospreys soar over the lake. One morning a Heron was sitting right on the front dock! The camp is so peaceful and serene. It was so nice to kayak directly on the lake using the provided kayaks. Watkins Glen and Hammondsport are a short drive…we hiked through the gorgeous WG State Park and loved the shops in Hammondsport, too. We truly enjoyed our time at Lake Lamoka. If you love nature, this spot will be perfect for you!

The perfect "Trottage"

George and Sally are great hosts! If you are looking for a little piece of happiness right on the lake, this is the place. We stayed for a week, kids had a blast catching bass/blue gill/pickrel right off the dock. Lots of memories were made.

Cute trottage!

We had a good time at the trottage as Sally and George call it. It was a small, cute little place that was clean, provided all the needed amenities, and was a nice place to stay in overall. The trottage is located off of Lamoka Lake on a place called mud creek. There was quite a bit of algae on the water and the weeds were pretty high. We didn’t swim in the water, but we enjoyed sitting out near the fire and enjoying the fresh air. Walkins Glen is nearby which allows for hiking, swimming at the pool, and good restaurants! Jerlando’s was great, awesome pizza! The Switzerland is the closet restaurant to the trottage and the food was amazing! I definitely think we’d come back for another trip. Thank you Sally and George!

Great little hideaway.

We had a great time. Our teen who picked the getaway did so knowing there was no wifi! He fished most of the day and spent time on and in the water. We enjoyed the surrounding area as well. Sally and George couldn't be nicer!

George has been on Lamoka Lake since he was 12 years old. Once you get Lamoka in your system, it's impossible to get it out! He built his home here 15 years ago, and recently we were able to purchase this property that adjoins ours. We have renovated it to give you the opportunity to share our "Little Piece of Heaven!" This location is more private than the main part of the lake, giving you the chance to relax and see many beautiful forms of wildlife, along with enjoying the lake activities.

We were so excited to be able to purchase this property. It is so close to the lake, the views are absolutely incredible. Early mornings you may see misty fog rise from the lake, or anytime, a great blue heron fishing by the dock; all while enjoying the peaceful serenity of the location.
