"Ron golden pond" est un endroit pour faire des souvenirs, une maison spéciale avec une grande énergie.

Nous avons une façade de 50 pieds du côté nord-est du lac Lamoka. Grands couchers de soleil et soleil toute la journée.

La maison du lac est meublée de façon intéressante avec des objets de collection et des œuvres d'art. Couleurs de peinture Key West pastel doux. Beaucoup de grandes fenêtres avec vue sur le lac.

Nous avons 3 ch maintenant ... un avec un roi,
un avec une reine, et un avec un plein.
Il y a un futon et un canapé dans le salon. Une quatrième grande chambre sera bientôt prête.

La salle de bain a une baignoire griffe nouvellement rénovée et une douche. Une 2e salle de bain sera bientôt prête.

Nous sommes à 12 miles de Watkins Glen, et il y a au moins 70 à 80 caves dans un rayon de 50 miles.

Nous sommes nouvellement répertoriés, alors laissez le vôtre être l'un de nos premiers avis.

Nous acceptons les animaux de compagnie et il y a des frais supplémentaires pour les animaux de compagnie non inclus dans les frais de réservation. (75 $ par animal).

Nous sommes sur une route privée avec des voisins très sympathiques ...... un endroit idéal pour des promenades au bord du lac, du kayak, du canoë, de la natation, du canotage, ... etc.

Perfect Location

Our stay at Ron’s cottage was lovely. Everything we needed was there for us. The location is beautiful and was very convenient to museums in Corning, Watkins Glen and finger lake wineries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ron Golden Pond

Our family loved staying here for a week. We. hated leaving. It was clean, quiet and well equipped for a family. The kids loved the blue gills around the dock and I enjoyed the deck. I could watch the lake all day!

Great Location!

We really enjoyed the privacy of this property! Everything was just as expected. Plenty of room for the 6 of us! Dock was excellent, water was clear with no weeds, and Ron, the host, was readily available if anything was needed.

Yearly family vacation

It was wonderful. My grandsons can now jump off dock. We were lucky and weather was great. Ron stopped by to see if all was good. He is a good host and told us about the swamp with turtles and a good restaurant.Will rent again.

Beautiful and Peaceful Vacation Rental

We really enjoyed our week at this beautiful house on the Lamoka Lake. The lake provided the perfect playground for kids and a tranquil, relaxing setting for the adults. The sunset was magical. There were plenty of parks & waterfalls for day hikes. The evening barbecue & camp fire, along with some beers, made for great evenings. The owner, Ron, was very attentive, helpful and kind. The house are also equipped with kayaks, canoe which are definitely a plus for us to enjoy the lake. Overall, this was a perfect vacation loved by all.

Summertime Dreams Come True!

My husband and I are so happy we were able to stay at Ron's Golden Pond for our anniversary weekend. Being able to check in by ourselves with the key code and start our stay without any hesitation was great. The property is right on the lake which was very inviting. We took full advantage of kayaks, canoe and huge floating devises to enjoy the entire lake which is gorgeous. Caught lots of little fish right off the dock including one 2lb small mouth bass! The cottage was super homey and had everything we needed and when we told Ron that we forgot our sound system he promptly came by to the rescue with a portable speaker for us. The bonfire pit gave us many nights of glowing entertainment that could only be matched by the star lit sky. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ron's Golden Pond all ready! Thank you for having us!

Beth and Joe were great..... we met them their first night and learned that it was their anniversary weekend. They stayed close to the house over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the lake and all it has to offer. They are welcome back anytime. Thanks, Ron

Should have just refunded our money

Prior to arrival, Ron contacted me to report that the home was on the market and there may be visits by real estate to show the house, but he would insure it was while we were fishing. Ron offered a free week in another home he is building in 2027. We were later informed the home was sold and Ron would need to prepare for an inspection on the Friday of our stay. Ron and his worker were there 4 days working on the home. On Friday we were informed the inspection would be from 3:30-5:30PM. We accommodated this and did not return until 6:20 PM, to find two vehicles blocking the drive way. I entered to find 4 people who informed me that there was a home inspection from 4:00-7:00PM. There was an exchange related to the discrepancy and I requested the truck be removed from the driveway and they left. I messaged Ron to express my concern and he came to the property, not to express his regret for the miss communtication, but to tell us we should have gone back to have some more drinks, gone exploring or something. I expressed concern about his responce. Ron left and we left early Sat. morning and have not heard from Ron.

Great getaway on Lamoka!

Convenient access to hiking, biking, Penn Yan! Fishing off the docks, fires in the fire pit at dusk. We had a great getaway on Lamoka Lake!

Fantastic lake access

This property is a "work in progress" as described by other reviews. A second bathroom is being completed, and various small details around the house are incomplete, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. The eclectic decorating style was interesting . And there's a Dollar General only a mile or two away for anything you have forgotten to bring. Ron was nearby and available if needed. The best part of this property is the outside space. The house is on a dead end road, so little traffic. There is a generous amount of lake front, with a fire ring that we used every day. There's plenty of firewood available for purchase nearby if you need to. And a sturdy dock made it easy to launch the canoe and kayaks. The lake is beautiful and we spent many hours on it. The sunsets were lovely. There is an air conditioner in the house that cools the main area but we only used it for a couple days and one evening because the newer bedroom did not have window screens. Other than that, there is a lovely breeze that flows through the house and the nights usually got down into the 60's, making it very comfortable. This area has so much to offer within a short driving distance and we didn't begin to cover it in our one week visit. Ron's place will certainly be memorable as the centerpiece to a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous getaway!

We rented this lake house for a full week and loved every minute of it. It was about 15 min from Watkins Glen/Seneca area. There were lots of things to do for day trips that did not require alot of travel time. The house was a great location, on Lamoka Lake. I gave the cleanliness 3 stars because that was the only part that was a little disappointing. The host had called early and said the cleaning lady was done early and we could go in if arrived early - that was super nice and considerate of him. When we arrived, first appearance was house was fairly clean. However, the floors felt gritty and one place was slippery (outside the bathroom) and appeared almost oily. The fridge had stuck on debris on most of the shelving so we cleaned it before placing anything in it. The kitchen towels looked very well used, as well as the bathroom towels. We went to Walmart and bought new kitchen towels and bath towels. The bedrooms and beds were very clean. The house was very homey and comfortable. The property around the house was nice - nice small patio to sit and look out on lake. Steps were nice to the small dock. There were two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard available for use. There was a nice fire pit and there are many roadside firewood stands to purchase wood. I will say, the house appears to be a house in remodeling process...there is a second bath construction, some door molding rot, most windows have been replaced but older ones exist, and there are just minor cosmetic things that would enhance the look of the house if were completed. The property around the house is small with little yard area if children staying. One side of the property is cluttered with stuff. There were two old masks laying in the driveway that we picked up and threw away. The shower is very small if a larger person using it. Bathroom has a nice large clawfoot tub. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and kitchen and living room. Area was quiet. Overall, house was nice, location and views were great, and would definitely stay again!

Lovely winter getaway

Ron is a great host! The property is just as he described. It's so homey with interesting art and collectibles throughout. My boyfriend and I were looking for a little winter getaway and we couldn't be happier with our trip. The lake is beautiful (even covered in snow). We enjoyed a quiet long weekend with our dogs. We both hope that we get a chance to visit again so we can enjoy all the property has to offer during lake season.

Great lakefront property

We enjoyed renting this property. The lakefront views from both the back patio and dock were amazing. We used the included kayaks and canoes, and fishing from the dock was pretty good also. The location is also within a 15 drive to the larger Keuka Lakeside activities and restaurants and also within 20-25 mins of Watkins Glen gorge trail and the Seneca Lake vineyards. It is a great property for kids. Note the house is 4 bedrooms and the owner is working on adding a second bathroom.

Weekend Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the lake for a girls weekend retreat. The lake was just what was needed. The property had everything we could need to just relax and enjoy time together.

Very pleased

This place was awesome! Ron was very nice and attentive to anything we needed during our stay. The house is very nice... spacious and great view! Not a far drive to Watkins Glen. I will definitely stay here again sometime!
