This stay was awesome! The apartment was in a great location, easy to access, and host was very responsive. The only con was that the bathroom was a pretty tight squeeze, but still an amazing place!

Excellent stay in the heart of the city right off of Plaza Mayor and across from Mercado de San Miguel. The apartment is tight, but the location more than makes up for it. The balcony looks right down on Calle Mayor and over into one of the entrances of Plaza Mayor. We were there over Easter and were able to see all of the processions coming out of the plaza and down the street. As mentioned, it can be a tight squeeze in the apartment, the showers in particular are tiny, but it all worked great, the host was responsive, and we very much enjoyed it.

This apartment is in a great location. Perfect walking distance to several attractions and great restaurants. It was also a 10 minute walk to our son's apartment for his study abroad. The hosts always answered our questions quickly and were very helpful with all our needs.

10/10 for location, we were able to walk to all places of interest. The apartment is on 4th floor; it was spotless and had modern decor and everything you need with a furnished terrace. There is a convenience store also next door. The host was very responsive and accommodated us with both early check in and late check out, highly recommend this apartment.

The property is in a great location. Very small bathrooms and bedrooms — especially the shower. The doorway to the master bathroom is very short and because of that we could not use that bathroom . Kitchen was well equipped - it even had olive oil spray, salt and pepper. There is a Carefore Express almost next door. Reasonable quiet at night. Nice terrace for eating.

Position of this apartment was amazing, The apartment was very well equipped & clean. We were able to drop our bags off before 3pm which was helpfu. One bathroom was tiny & both showers far too small. The photos make apartment look much bigger. The balcony was nice but needs attention as looked scruffy with chipped paint. Overall a good stay and I would return if visiting again.

This property was very well located and property manager was very responsive. We really enjoyed having the outdoor balcony. If we ever return to this area, we would definitely want to stay here again.

The location was first rate. The check-in process was very simple. Parking, though probably not an issue with most guests, was unavailable at the property but easily found in Plaza de Oriente for a reasonable rate. The apartment was small but comfortable (there were three of us, but each bedroom could accommodate two comfortably. The view was spectacular, and even though the apartment is in the heart of the old town area, it was very quiet at night (as long as the windows were closed). I’d rent this property again without hesitation.

The stay went very well. The location is ideal for visiting Madrid.

The apartment is charming and I like the interior design. I really enjoyed being in the heart of the city,There is a convenience store at the bottom of the building, and the metro is nearby. The neighborhood has many restaurants to suit all tastes.

This was my first VRBO. The property was very clean and the comunícation with property management/owner was excellent. Excellent location in heart of Madrid. Overall great experience. Highly recommend this place.

Great Location

Comfortable apartment in the heart of the old city. Easy walk to everything we wanted to stay and easy ride to train station for day trips. Apartment was clean and functional and terrace was a great touch.

The bathrooms are very small but the showers are even smaller. They are only about 2ft by 2ft so be prepared if you are a larger person to have to make do with it. Other than that the love was really nice. Kitchens was great and the outdoor balcony was a nice touch. The property does have an elevator to the 4th floor but there is still one small flight of stairs to reach the room.

Location was superb. The apartment clean, though a small two bedroom apartment, it was good except the showers were very small and difficult to get in and out of. The terrace was lovely and we spent most of our time at the apartment sitting there. It was tricky opening the door to the apartment and there was a definite knack to it. But I must say the location was perfect

Family vacation in Spain

We had a great time, and we couldn't choose a better place to stay, it's perfectly located, close to all the main attractions, you can walk to the metro. If you booked this awesome place, I'll recommend you to walk across the street and eat at the Mercado San Miguel, and have churros with chocolate at San Ginés.We're totally in love with Spain. We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is centrally located and walkable to all of the main historic sites, markets, plazas, parks and restaurants, and the train station and airport were a short drive. We were in the heart of Madrid, walked everywhere and never even needed a cab. It is central to everything, and you could pick a different direction to walk and find something to see, visit, shop or eat! We felt very safe in the building and in the apartment. It was mainly quiet day and night, as you are on the 4th floor, yet you could here sirens going by. The apartment seems to be newly remodeled, with all new appliances and was perfectly clean. It was the most efficient use of a small space we've seen! It was tight living quarters for 4 adults and 3 pieces of luggage for each couple, but we made it work. The beds were very comfortable and the large closets were helpful to store our luggage, clothing and toiletries. In the closets were 2 fans which helped with airflow at night for comfortable sleeping. We appreciated having 2 bathrooms, but beware, the showers are very narrow, without being able to bend down, and a large person would not fit. The balcony was incredible! It was spacious and the views were great, as you could even see into the arch of Plaza Mayor. The apartment has a modem decor and had everything we needed with a small fridge, cooktop stove as well as kitchenware. We definitely recommend this stay and would return in the future!

Excellent location, beautiful apartment

We had a great stay at Heima Penthouse Old Town. Right on Calle Mayor, you can’t beat the location. The apartment was modern and bright inside and the rooftop terrace had the most beautiful views of the neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the space was maximized Fire comfort and storage. The bathrooms were small, but we didn’t have any issues in that regard. A larger person would have difficulty.
