Flowers and welcome pack gratefully appreciated. Cottage warm on arrival. Great location for walks to Fountains Abbey and in to Ripon City Centre. Hope to return soon.

comfortable cottage in great location

We really enjoyed our stay and the excellent facilities provided in the cottage. A short walk leads to the footpath to the Fountains Abbey estate and the 15 minute walk into Ripon is an easy stroll to shops and a good variety of restaurants.

Lovely property

City one way, countryside the other, quiet location.Very spacious and clean, well appointed, lovely bed linen. Helpful and friendly owners next door who left generous welcome pack and milk in the fridge. Highly recommend as a base for this area.

Ideal location for North Yorkshire places to visit. All on one level. Suits us oldies.(no stairs) Quiet.

Very impressive cottage.very clean with everything you could possibly need provided for.Excellent location for exploring.A nice little welcome pack provided as well which really was a nice touch.Ive stayed in many holiday rentals over the years and this was quite possibly the best.Hope to return in the near future.

Cosy Cottage

Fantastic hosts who were very accomodating. The cottage is beautiful, set in a lovely area, with a short walk into Ripon, Would highly recommend staying at this cottage.

Lovely cute comfortable cottage

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Attention to detail would have given 5 throughout. More could have been made of the patio area as we felt it was a bit neglected. Dirty windows and lots of cobwebs. However this did not spoil our stay.

The owners live next door and were extremely friendly and helpful- we're not used to a smart tv!However, we found the smart speakers in the 3 rooms were great - along with the thoughtful little extras like fresh flowers and an excellent welcome pack. Ripon is a lovely little city (we loved the Hornblower ceremony every evening)and well located for exploring the surrounding area.

Cosy cottage

Cottage was very cosy and handy for Ripon, Harrogate and the rest of the Dales. Its very well equipped and the owner left a lovely welcome pack with homemade cake for when we arrived. We would stay again.

Same great hosts! New cottage!

Our first time at Cobblestone Cottage, usually having stayed at the Hay Loft next door. Katherine and Pete excelled themselves once again with their welcome and providing a beautiful cottage for us to enjoy a wonderful relaxing week in lovely Ripon. Roomy, very comfortable and excellently equipped - we will definitely be back!

The cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped and the photos don’t do it justice. The hosts Katherine and Patrick were super friendly and helpful. Everything was thought of from recommendations for walks etc to little touches such as flowers and treats and milk etc when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

An excellent cottage

2nd stay at this comfortable well equipped cottage. Great condition throughout with a good range of equipment and features. Ideally placed for visiting a wide range of 'days out' locations including Knaresborough, Pateley Bridge, Himalayan Gardens, Fountains Abbey and of course Ripon.

Wonderful discovery and a joy to stay in

What a wonderful place to stay with a very generous welcome pack and helpful and friendly hosts. It is located on a quiet road with easy access and we enjoyed the walks around the area and into Ripon, along with trips to many other attractions. The pictures of the cottage are misleading as looking from the front it looks quite small but it is extremely spacious inside with all the rooms extending backwards from the lounge and dining room (at the front) so it has an excellent kitchen, small bedroom with a single bed and then a good sized main bedroom with patio doors leading out onto a quiet and sunny patio. Absolutely wonderful.

The cottage was very simple to find, a nice peaceful location,and a short walk to the city of ripon.the cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay and it was immaculate lots of space

Great cottage in a lovely area.

We felt at home in Cobblestone Cottage, everything was clean and well looked after. Katherine and Pete were very friendly, and they left us a really good welcome pack too. There is a plenty to do in the area and the cottage is only a fifteen minute walk from the town centre. Lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from. The three museums were interesting, and we were lucky enough to be in the cathedral when the choir and a brass band were practicing. A very enjoyable stay.

A Perfect Place to Stay

This delightfully appointed cottage had everything we could wish for. On arrival and contactless entry, we were greeted with all sorts of edible and drinkable goodies. Our hosts, Katharine and Peter, were friendly, available at all times, and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. We stayed for over a week during which we visited both the Yorkshire Dales and the Moors, as well as enjoying Ripon, a beautiful historic small city. Don't miss the Cathedral! A perfect place to stay.

Lovely stay

We were very welcomed by a warm and cosy home . There were fresh flowers , cake , biscuits and savoury snacks plus a choice of alcohol in the fridge . The beds were very comfortable and had good quality bedding . There was plenty of towels . The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need .

The house is maintained perfectly. Everything inside is in top order. We loved staying in it every minute, even if the weather was not at its best. The heating, the kitchen the beds etc. all was first class. The Landlady was very helpful and positive and we enjoyed staying in Ripon.We only can recommend this place to anyone interested.

Quality cottage, great location.

We really enjoyed staying at Cobblestone Cottage in Ripon. The property is first class and extremely well equipped with absolutely everything you need in the kitchen. The owner, Katherine, provided a very generous welcome pack, probably the nicest we have ever been given in any holiday cottage. I won't detail as it's a nice surprise for anyone staying. We love the hills of York Dales but often come to Ripon, and the property has a great location for walks from the door and trips further afield. We would highly recommend!
