A perfect holiday. The accomodation was spotless, very comfortable and had everything that you could need. It was in an excellent spot for exploring the dales and many picturesque towns and villages. We had a hassle-free and relaxing stay.

Had a really lovely stay at Brens Barn.

Had a really lovely stay at Brens Barn. The cottage was in a perfect and quiet location situated with easy access to the local amenities in Beadale and not far from the A1 for days out. The cottage was beautifully appointed and well equipped, full of homely touches. We definitely recommend a stay at Brenns Barn and would love to return sometime soon.

Brens Barn is a stunning cottage which has been renovated to a very high standard by the owner.

Brens Barn is a stunning cottage which has been renovated to a very high standard by the owner. Well equipped with everything you would needed for our stay, indoors and out. There is a wounderful barn onsite with bbq, hot tub, bar, large screen tv, darts board, heating , dining area & comfy chairs, everything for family and friends to get together where we had a drink watched the Rugby. In the beautiful area of Aiskew, the cottage is only a short walk to the picturesque market town of Bedale, with shops, cafe’s pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful accommodation in excellent location

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Bren's Barn. Arriving on a cold, wet Friday evening in February, we walked into a bright, warm, immaculately clean and beautifully presented barn conversion. It has been tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas and even an electric reclining armchair and we found the mattress on the double bed extremely comfy too - something we're very fussy about! The kitchen was probably the best equipped we've come across in many years of renting holiday cottages, and the owners clearly take note of the comments left by visiting guests to continually improve an already excellent home from home. We enjoyed making use of the Amazon device for background music to the meals we cooked and ate at home. The barn itself is perfectly located, next to the owners' home, within their small farm but just a short walk from the charming town of Bedale where there are good local shops including baker, greengrocer and butchers and also a decent sized Co-op. We also found a couple of lovely eateries in the Sprouted Kitchen and Tom and Nellie's, and there were a number of pubs which looked nice but we didn't try on this occasion. The owners were friendly and available for help if we needed it but didn't intrude on any way. Nick kindly offered to set the "party barn" up for us if we wanted it one evening, with the fire going etc and although we didn't make use of that I'm sure it would have been very enjoyable. We loved seeing their collection of animals each day - chickens, peacocks and kittens all wanted to inspect the barn for themselves and the sheep and goats kept an eye on us from their field just beyond the barn windows! Further afield, the barn is perfectly located for all kinds of activities in North Yorkshire. The East coast is near enough for a day trip, fascinating Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are not far away and Harrogate for the Turkish Baths, Betty's and RHS Harlow Carr is also near enough for a thoroughly relaxing day out (or good shopping!) There was so much that we didn't manage to do on this holiday - brewery tours and a gin distillery in Masham, fell walks in the Yorkshire Dales or North York Moors, for instance, that we'll just have to go back, and would be delighted to!

One of the best barn conversions we have stayed in.

One of the best barn conversions we have stayed in. Very spacious, well equipped and spotless. Within walking distance of Bedale which has a number of shops, excellent butcher and places to eat. The owners were so helpful but not intrusive. Will definitely return to this property.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely barn.

We had a fantastic week in this lovely barn. It was fully equipped with everything imaginable (although a ladle and smaller lidded casserole dish would have been useful). The furnishings were just beautiful, as were all the quality bedding and towels. Furthermore the owners, Nick and Denise, went out of their way to ensure our comfort was paramount. They couldn’t have been better in any way😄 Thanks guys.

Brens Barn is a stunning place to stay, beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness is second to none

Brens Barn is a stunning place to stay, beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness is second to none! Not only is the barn beautiful inside the fact that it is full of everything you need and more adds value for money. Brens barn is in a tranquil area but it is not too remote having the local village five minutes walk away. Various places to visit not far from your doorstep. We have had a fabulous family holiday here and can highly recommend it to families or couples, we cannot wait to return! A huge thank you to the owners, Nick & Denise for being such wonderful hosts.

Wow what a beautiful barn conversion.

Wow what a beautiful barn conversion. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a superior standard . Quality fixtures and fitting throughout. Fully equipped with everything we need to enjoy our stay. Warm and extremely comfortable. ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. Amazing views with walks starting from the front door. Only 5minutes walk into Bedale where there are many shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.

What a beautiful property.

What a beautiful property. They really have thought of everything at Brens Barn. Decorated to a very high spec, comfortable and homely. Whatever we needed, it was there in a cupboard!! We were also left a welcome pack which I thought was a very nice gesture! Nick and Denise were extremely friendly and fantastic hosts, nothing was ever too much! Would highly recommend this property for your stay in Yorkshire! If we ever come back, we will definitely be staying here!!!
