We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Edinburgh. The location and apartment were great. Parking was difficult when there was no street parking as it was expensive in the nearby options, but there are options close. The hosts were accommodating and got back to us quickly!

The apartment is of a good size, but a number of the amenities listed on Vrbo did not exist. Contact with the host seemed primarily AI generated. Therefore often frustrating. Belated efforts to amend the problems were slow in coming. Final inquiries regarding the key and a lost item were not acknowledged. Nor my recommendation that they set up a book to assist peope unfamiliar with Scotland's ways of doing things. I respect the goals of Rainsavers, but this was my holiday. The accommodation is an upscale hostel. I would have selected a different property knowing what I know now.

We stayed there for three days and it was great. We were 5 people; they have three bedrooms with two double beds and one single bed (and also a sofa in the living room). A no-thrill place but has everything you need, kitchen, living room, etc. The place is about 35-minute walk from the old town, or about 25 minutes by bus, there are a few little delis and one supermarket within a 5-minute walk, as well as the fountain park shopping centre. Host was very communicative, allowed us to check-in a little early and check-out a little later, which helped a lot. Also kept checking with us that we have whatever we need.

Convenient and reasonable

We stayed for 3 nights in July. This home was close to a bus station (a must for me) and was spacious. Two heads up for future travelers: the washing machine/dryer all-in-one was a challenge so instructions would be helpful. Sometimes the wash cycle went directly to the dry cycle and sometimes not. Allow a lot of extra time to do a load of laundry. The 3rd bedroom is a closet, I think. It was fine for us but may not be for someone else. Other that these two issues, all was great and I would recommend the Rainforest to fellow travelers to Edinburgh. Thank you!

L’appartement est charmant, spacieux et très calme. Il est situé sur les lignes de bus qui mènent directement au centre ville.La literie standard est très bonne et les chambres sont de bonnes dimensions avec des rangement.Cependant la cuisine présente des points négatifs : un manque de vaisselle (saladier, carafe d’eau, fait-tout, notamment) et un lave vaisselle présent mais difficilement utilisable.

Cosy apartment with good access to the city centre and the airport, while still being in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of opportunities to eat and also pubs nearby. Overall definitely a recommendation to visit Edinburgh.
