Un charmant cottage situé entre les falaises et la plage

Cliffeside Cottage est un charmant trou de mer situé dans le village pittoresque de Kingsdown. La plage de galets qui s'étend jusqu'à Deal se trouve à quelques mètres d'un chemin privé où se trouvent des cabanes de plage de caractère. Franchissez la porte du piquet pour vous rendre dans un ravissant jardin de galets et le porche pittoresque prépare le terrain pour votre retraite à la plage.

Le Cliffeside Cottage propose un hébergement confortable réparti sur deux étages. Les chambres situées à l'arrière bénéficient d'une vue sur la mer. La salle de bains est dotée d'une fenêtre à hublot amusante. Dehors, il y a un jardin isolé avec table et chaises pour les petits déjeuners paresseux au soleil. Après une promenade côtière vivifiante, ce trou de boulon offre un accueil chaleureux à la maison. Si vous aimez lire, vous avez l'embarras du choix - empruntez un livre dans la bibliothèque et détendez-vous sur le canapé ou feuilletez un magazine Coast. Le chalet est décoré dans un style côtier avec des stores rayés, des bleus pastel et des coussins de mouette. Kingsdown est un emplacement idéal pour explorer les environs de Deal, Sandwich et St. Margarets Bay. Le Zetland Arms est à deux pas de la bonne nourriture et des boissons sur la plage.

Lovely holiday week at Cliffeside Cottage

The cottage is lovely. It has everything we needed. The close proximity to the beach was wonderful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and stylish. We have a dog and it was great for her. The Zetland Arms is a great place for food and drink. Good access to the White Cliffs Area. Thank you for a great stay.

We loved this cottage for our family and our visit to the South coast. The house was perfectly set up for a family, with a beautiful outside space, and a short walk to the rocky beach. Our kids (4 and 8) loved the twin bed room, with reading nook, a great collection of kids games, puzzles and books. Comfortably slept six of us, and we particularly enjoyed the footpaths to walk to Walmer and Deal Castle and the Dover cliffs. Will note the cottage is pet friendly -- we do not have a pet, but we did find dog hair on the area rugs, worth noting if you have an allergy. Overall wonderful stay!

Perfect Xmas Location

Property was excellent for a short stay at the beach. Could not fault location, close to a couple of great pubs and an easy walk to Walmer Castle. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Nice touch having a Christmas tree in the lounge too

A great break in a terrific location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cliffeside: the pleasant and well equipped house and garden is in an excellent location, near to Walmer and its castle and Deal with its unexpected delights. We also found the team at Keepers Cottages incredibly responsive and helpful. In short, we would have no hesitation in booking again.

A special long weekend

We enjoyed a 3 night stay to celebrate a special birthday. The cottage is really beautifully decorated and we appreciated the good quality linens, Neom fragrance and Scottish Soap Co. toiletries. There was ample hot water and heating when we needed it. The village is pretty and peaceful and the beach great. We enjoyed walking to Deal and along the clifftops. We would love to stay again. The only suggestion we'd make is a more secure/robust back gate.

One of the best stays yet!

We have stayed with Keepers Cottages many times and this was one of the best stays yet. Cliffeside Cottage is the most charming seaside holiday rental. You are literally a few steps to the pretty Kingsdown beach. We were so lucky as we had amazing weather so we swam every day and had picnics on the beach. We walked to St Margarets Bay twice which was the most beautiful walk up on the cliffs. We ate out several times in Deal. The cottage was comfy, cosy and idyllic. We love staying with Keepers Cottages, the team are so helpful and friendly and we will be back soon. Thank you for a truly magical stay.

A haven for any time of year

Stayed over a period of unplanned works at our property. Despite being arranged at very short notice this beautifully appointed cottage was a real haven from the chaos. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable and felt much larger on the inside than it looks. The secure garden (for our little cockerpoo) led right to the short path to the beach. We were staying in January in icy temperatures and it was warm and welcoming. With the direct views straight to sea from the rear rooms, it would be an enchanting place to stay at any time of the year. Highly recommend.

Cliffeside Cottage weekend stay.

It would be helpful to let guests know that the one bathroom is downstairs at the back of the property through the dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms are on the 1st floor and 2nd floors and the stairs are quite steep. This wasn't a problem for us. The cottage was cosy and in a fantastic location. The decor is lovely and it has all the facilities needed. The fridge temperature was on the warm side. The electricity tripped twice but we fixed it. It may be connected to the oven? The garden was good to have and has a rear gate to access the pathway to the Beach. We'd recommend the popular Zetland Arms and best to book.Parking was straight forward outside the property. There was also a nearby local shop. We (5) had a great weekend there.

Beautiful Coastal Cottage

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay at cliffeside cottage, loved the long walk into Deal with it’s many excellent restaurants to choose from. The Zetland pub was fantastic for a drink after our dog walk. The decor in the cottage was very tasteful and we all had a wonderful NY break! Bathroom downstairs was the only negative and perhaps a Nespresso coffee machine would be a nice touch. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Winter break

A lovely 5 day break with my husband. 2nd visit this year. The log fire set off the living room so well. Comfy and warming. A great few pubs around the corner. Great food and drink. Easy walking distance to Deal along the coast path. Very tempted to return. Really enjoyable and a lovely find. X

Brilliant location

This cottage is picture perfect when looking for a base to swim the English Channel, and for a quiet seaside holiday too! The team are responsive and kind, helping wherever they can to ensure our stay was stress free. Highly recommend and can’t wait to see how Cliffside grows in the future :)

Retreat on and untouched beach

The cottage was easy to find, parking wasn't an issue. Inside was lovely, clean and welcoming. The location is so ideal if you want a break away from the hustle and bustle of every day issues. There are two pubs within 400ft of the cottage and both do lovely food. The stoney beach is just 2 minutes from the cottage and is so untouched. We spent most of our time there. The cottage was comfortable, bright and lovely. Everything you need was there. We would definately go back. We have already recommended the cottage to friends and family.

A great little gem

Cliffeside cottage was the perfect little gem for my small family. Beautifully furnished with the comfiest beds and nice hot shower! Located just a stones throw from the beach and a couple of great pubs, it’s ideal for sunset walks and stops! A short drive is Deal (gorgeous sea side town) and Sandwich, both pretty historic towns for a great family day out! Will definitely come back!

Mini break

Stayed with my husband for 4 nights. Birthday treat. Lovely setting. Pub(s) within walking distance. A homely house. Met all our needs. Would have been special if the fireplace was available but we were comfortable all the same. The weather was on our side and the long promenade walk to Deal was great. Deal pleasantly welcoming. Lovely Cottage by the Sea

We were 2 adults, 1 baby and small child staying over a long weekend in September. The perfect cottage and location for our seaside break! Kingsdown Beach was ideal for us. The Zetland Arms pub a short walk down a lane of gorgeous cottages. Deal is a short drive away with great restaurants and a lovely pier. The cottage itself was great for us, very steep stairs for a baby which is something to note. Thank you Keepers Cottages for our stay, we loved it and will be back!

Great little house

Gorgeous cottage in a lovely spot

Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated - our stay in Cliffeside Cottsge was a real pleasure. The sun shone for us so we made great use of the pretty outdoor space where there was always both a sunny and a shady corner to choose from. The walk into Deal along the seafront takes about 45 minutes and was something we enjoyed immensely. Owners/property managers very responsive and helpful- simply can’t fault it.

Exceptional cottage in perfect location

Lovely cottage recently very tastefully refurbished. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and we have to say this is the best. So many of them are furnished with worn out furniture and quite obviously not with any thought of their guests comforts. But, the owner of this cottage has thought things out and provided their guests with good quality fittings and such nice surroundings. Unfortunately, they couldn’t control the weather and it was bitterly cold, so we couldn’t take advantage of the close proximity of the beach, and due to lockdown we couldn’t take advantage of the close proximity of the local pubs. But, definitely first class.
