The property was very dirty but the room was mostly clean. The toilet did not flush, there was no toilet paper, shower is very very small. I ended up booking a hotel instead bc my doorknob was being jiggled at 2am. I contacted VRBO support and they were no help because I didn’t have photo or video proof. Anyway, I wouldn’t stay here alone as a girl. Probably fine in a pair of as a man.

We're sorry to read this review, particularly as none of these concerns were reported to us directly during your stay, which meant we had no opportunity to assist. The toilet was checked following your departure and was working correctly after a very minor adjustment to the flush mechanism, something our handyman could have resolved in just a few minutes had we been notified. The room and bathroom are accurately represented in the listing photographs, including their compact size. The building is also undergoing refurbishment, which is clearly disclosed in the listing. While the communal areas are not under our direct control, we do arrange regular cleaning. Regarding the alleged incident at 2am, we take guest security seriously and would have investigated immediately had you contacted us. However, we have no evidence of an attempted entry or any confirmed security incident. We've welcomed many guests to this property without similar concerns, including solo travellers. It's unfortunate that you chose to leave without giving us the opportunity to investigate or resolve the issues you experienced. We remain committed to providing a comfortable stay and assisting our guests whenever concerns are brought to our attention.

Great communication from a kind host and easy check in process! The studio is definitely cozy in size but still comfortable, and has a good amount of amenities for a short stay. I would recommend this listing for those who are visiting London and are looking for a small place to rest after being out and about most of the day, want to be near public transit without being right next to rapid transit (this location has a bus stop and is a short walk to a tube and train station), and want to be near some good restaurants! As a tourist, this studio definitely made my trip easy and comfortable.

It’s a great and lively location in Camden Town, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right next door. The host is wonderful and communicative. Inside the home, although it’s quite small, it was sufficient for one person and very clean, which I greatly appreciated. The hallway and corridor outside the apartment are a bit old and not very clean, but that’s understandable since they’re shared areas that the host has less control over.The check-in process was contactless and easy. The property is also very close to both the bus and metro stations, which makes getting around quick and convenient.

I have to say for a short stay it’s convenient. It’s a place to sleep and shower. We were out for most of the time. It’s cozy and cute and economical for a quick stay. We kept on having issues with the toilet and on the 2nd day the wifi network randomly disappeared, we were no longer connected nor could we find the network. Being that we are not from the UK we rely a little more on wifi so that was a bit inconvenient. When we had issues with the toilet Clarissa sent someone to fix it quickly which we appreciated but afterwards we had the same issue. But nonetheless when we did reach out or had a question she was quick to respond. The unit itself is clean, nice, and up to date. It was hot so we really appreciated the fan she provided! It’s nice and strong! I would recommend for a short stay or if you’re traveling solo since the unit is quite compact.
