Our yard crew had been there just before your arrival to freshen up the outdoors, and they were instructed to remove any wasp nests they found. The house was also sprayed for insects both indoors and outdoors. We understood how frustrating this could be, especially with the wasp population being particularly prominent in Texas this year. We experienced the same challenges at our own home and kept wasp spray nearby. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the wasp problem, and we will definitely look into hiring an exterminator to address that. We also understand the importance of cleanliness and will ensure that the house is thoroughly dusted and that the drains in the bathroom are cleaned before future guests arrive. Your comments about the laundry room have been noted, and we will take action to improve that as well. We hope you reached out to us about these issues during your stay so we could have assisted you promptly. We were never made aware of any problems, and it appears the thermostat was set on a schedule mode, which could have been easily turned off had we known. We understand how important a comfortable temperature is, especially at night, and we appreciate your feedback. We hope to provide you with a better experience on your next visit!

I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. I wish you had notified us with any of these concerns & we would have sent the cleaning crew by to get things right for you! We want to hear honest feedback so we can rectified things not only for your stay but also for future guests! We work VERY hard to keep the home in great condition & we are sorry this didn’t seem like the case for your stay. In response to your concerns, we have added blinds to all the rooms as well as curtains throughout. The home has newly installed smart keypads & deadbolts. We have fully enclosed the backyard with an 8’ privacy fence & added outdoor string lights & had all the trees trimmed. (We keep the shrubs on the front porch full to give privacy to our guests, NOT because they are unkept). The home is in a typical Chip & Jo neighborhood, where they can buy affordable homes & redo them. Usually it ends up making the home an oasis compared to others, until owners nearby are motivated to improve their homes. This has actually happened over the past few years in our area as we have many neighbors do rehabbing & building some adorable homes (including a habitat for humanity home & multiple vacation rentals). We don’t feel it’s appropriate to discriminate & we embrace diversity as our neighbors are kind, hardworking people. Thanks for your honest feedback that identified things we could improve on!
