Jesse’s Place is a remodeled historic Waco home featuring a fully stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, Smart TVs in every bedroom, comfortable bedding, and a cozy electric fireplace. The backyard includes swings, outdoor seating, string lights, a propane fire pit, pellet grill, and basketball goal. Located near Magnolia, Baylor, downtown dining, and Jesse’s Tortilla Factory, it offers a comfortable stay with authentic Waco character.

A Stay Rooted in Waco History
Jesse’s Place offers more than just a comfortable stay. It’s a chance to experience a meaningful piece of Waco history. Originally purchased in the 1970s by local Wacoan Jesse Contreras, owner of Jesse’s Tortilla Factory, this home has been lovingly restored by his grandson while preserving the charm of the original pier and beam house. Located close to downtown, Baylor, and Magnolia, it provides a welcoming place to relax while staying connected to the heart of the city.

The Home
This beautifully remodeled home blends historic character with updated comfort and thoughtful amenities. Guests will enjoy comfortable bedding, a fully stocked kitchen, and a cozy living space designed for relaxing after a day exploring Waco. The electric fireplace adds warm ambiance, while the living room Smart TV includes basic cable. TVs are also provided in all three bedrooms, and the home includes fast Wi-Fi with download speeds up to 600 Mbps.

The kitchen includes a Keurig coffee maker with provided pods, creamers, and sweeteners to make mornings easy. Families are welcome, and a pack ’n play is available for little ones.

Outdoor Highlights
The backyard is designed for gathering and unwinding, with outdoor seating, string lighting, backyard swings, a propane fire pit, pellet grill, and basketball goal. Whether you’re enjoying coffee outside in the morning or relaxing under the lights in the evening, the outdoor space adds even more comfort to your stay.

Great Waco Location
Many of Waco’s most popular destinations are just minutes away, including Magnolia Market, the Dr Pepper Museum, Baylor University, Cameron Park, and Jesse’s Tortilla Factory itself. Some of Waco’s favorite local restaurants are located within a mile of the home.

We loved this rental. We travel extensively and stay in many vacation rentals. This is one of the best. What we loved: 1. Location. Just great. Walk almost anywhere you want to go.2. Cleanliness. Jesse’s place was such a warm, cozy, and beautiful home. Me and my family really enjoyed the outdoor space with corn hole and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds and arcade game. The kitchen was fully stocked and the big island was a nice touch. Easy access to just about everything was a plus! All furniture was very comfortable. Definitely will stay here again! This place is ADORABLE! They had chips and salsa waiting for us when we arrived. I took my daughter and her friends for a birthday weekend trip and it fit us comfortably. The neighborhood was a little questionable but otherwise I would highly recommend this place. They have it done so cute on the inside and it was nice and cool!

Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights during a recent trip to Texas. We did day trips to Austin and Fort Worth from Waco. The property description was accurate; the house is super cute and very clean! As others mentioned in their reviews the location is great if you are in town to visit the Silos or Baylor. A few of the surrounding streets are still going through revitalization. With that said we greatly appreciated the gated driveway for added privacy and security. But we note that at no time did we feel unsafe. Our kids very much enjoyed the basketball hoop, yard game, and covered outdoor seating area. We would definitely recommend this home to others. The only thing we felt we were missing in our stay were wash cloths and a few more pillows. But really the house was perfect. We went to a Baylor baseball game, went to the park along the river, spent hours at the Silos, designed hats at Ranch Hat Bar, visited the Dr. Pepper Museum, ate at Terry Black’s, Magnolia Table, Cappuccino Cafe, Magnolia Press and Silo Bakery for coffee and treats and even did a Whataburger and In & Out taste test. Day trips with easy drives to Austin for shopping and sights as well as Fort Worth for Stockyard and bull riding event at the Cowboy Coliseum. Really enjoyed our visit!
