VU SUR FIXER UPPER SAISON 3

Notre place est situĂ©e au centre de Waco. Vous ĂȘtes proche d'un Target, d'un Starbucks et d'HEB ... non loin de Baylor et de Magnolia. La maison est nichĂ©e dans une rue calme et paisible. La disposition de notre maison offre un grand espace de vie ouvert qui est idĂ©al pour les familles (avec enfants) et les grands groupes. Si vous aimez cuisiner, notre cuisine est un espace idĂ©al pour accueillir.

Venez séjourner dans notre maison Schmear allemande récemment rénovée. Années 1970 Le style ranch se transforme en éclectique européenne. Beaucoup de place avec un super plan d'étage ouvert. LumiÚre naturelle partout. Nous sommes situés à environ 10-15 minutes du centre-ville, Magnolia Silos, Baylor & McLane Stadium.

There was a little hiccup checking in but the host, Jeff, was quick to respond and get us set up. The house was lovely and perfect for our family. I would love to stay here again.

There where a few spots that needed some more deep cleaning but overall it was a great place to stay loved the decorations and the kitchen/family room was amazing had everything you would need and very spacious for a big family!

We loved staying at the German Schmear house! The house is beautiful and it was great to see some of Chip and Joanna's touches still there! We really enjoyed the opportunity to stay in a "fixer upper" house.Every communication with Jeffrey was seamless and he always responded to our questions timely.The house was close to many places we wanted to visit and there were several stores nearby for anything that we needed.Our only issue (no fault of the owners) was with the neighbor directly across the street who would sit in his car and play loud music. It was a little off putting but we made the best of it.

Great House

In town for golf tment at Ridgewood CC. Perfect location with quick access to dining options. Fantastic kitchen and big yard. Would definitely stay again.

The property itself was clean and pleasant but there were some caviates which you should know about. First the back of the house has a converted garage which was renamed the cottage. The address is difficult to see so we had individuals attempting to get in our house and were Shining flashlights on the house and waking up our guests. People thought someone was breaking in and it was unsettling. Second neighbors played music till late in the night EXTREMELY loud which disallowed sleep. Finally the place needs bug control. Many cockroaches

Perfect for a visit to Magnolia Market

We had a short trip to The Silos, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Table . The house is very close to all theses and Baylor University as well. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels, fans for each bedroom and kitchen supplies. The check out procedure was simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO. Waco was fun visiting Magnolia and doing some shopping. It was nice to come back to this property in the evening and sit together in the living space. Bedrooms beautiful and comfortable. Thank-you !

Weekend celebration!

We came to Waco to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect place to rest after each event We had plenty of room for five adults To spread out yet, be close together. My husband and I grew up in Waco and I actually grew up right down the street from where we stayed so it was so nice to reminisce and enjoy the neighborhood again so close to everything we needed: shopping restaurants, and all the activities we had a great day thanks for sharing your home

Excellent experience

What a treat staying in one of the homes Chip and Joanna renovated. The first floor certainly had the Gaine’s stamp on it. The second floor was fine but nothing compared to the first floor. Highly recommend if you are a Fixer Upper fan.

Sister’s 50th Bday

House is as advertised, clean and prepped with general items like toilet paper, spices and cooking oils. Check in and out smooth. Plenty of room for 4 people traveling as a group or multiple couples.

Fixer Upper Disappointment

If the property owners want to rely on the Fixer Upper connection, they need to make every effort to insure that expectations around a quality experience are met. The first floor main living area is nicely decorated per “Fixer Upper” expectations. Second floor with 3 bedrooms and all bathrooms are original except for paint. Overall, the house is looking a little tired. The cleaning crew clearly needs supervision and/ or inspection. The tile floors on first floor needed a good scrubbing only because walking barefoot (one night) in the house resulted in dirty feet. There was a fishy smell in the kitchen that required flushing the garbage disposal with hot water and soap. No paper towels were provided in the kitchen nor K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker. No instructions were provided on how to use the TV (when to use the cable remote vs the Roku remote). No password provided for Netflix use. We were instructed that under no circumstances should we park on the street, yet there was a vehicle parked in front of the house the entire time we were there. We learned after the fact that the vehicle belonged to the VRBO renters that occupied the adjacent guest cottage. We should have been informed that there were other people at the property. I made this reservation on behalf of friends and it is embarrassing to have to apologize to them for a multitude of small and easily-solvable issues.

Great house!

Our stay at the German Schmear house was amazing, it was what we thought it would be, very comfortable, close to everything. House was very clean and had lots of room for everybody. Would definitely stay there again. It was just a short drive to silos, restaurants, shopping.

After College we both moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to both be on College Ministry staff with a local church. While in Tennessee we fell in love. We moved back to Texas in 2014 and got married. Now Waco, Texas is home and we love it there.
