A lovely home with everything we needed. Even in the rain we had a wonderful relaxing time. Great spot close to Moreton on Marsh where we did the recommended loop walk (2 hours) - very wet but a lovely route.
Drove to Daylesford farm and bourton on the water too.
Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay in the Cotswolds
We loved our stay in this house. It’s in perfect condition and the location is amazing. It’s a very quiet area but easy walk to other villages and towns via Bridleways. One of our favourite houses in the UK.
Outdoor area is great and we were fortunate it to use it as the weather was great.
The dog loved it too! Perfect window seat for her when we were inside.
Highly recommended home from home!

Beautiful Cotswolds House in Paxford
We had a wonderful stay at Vine Cottage, Paxford. Tastefully decorated throughout, beautiful furniture, was a real home from home. Comfy beds and pillows. The Aga was a real treat on the cold days! We had a couple of points to note but they did not ruin our holiday and would not put us off staying again but think they are worth mentioning. We were woken up every night with the sensor lights and extractor fans going on and off intermittently in both bathrooms even though nobody was entering the rooms. If we stayed in the summer and sat in the garden you are exposed to people walking past so an enclosed fence would suit us better but this is personal preference as we also have two reactive dogs. The house is beautiful and in an ideal location so we would happily stay again!

Thank you so much for your lovely review and for choosing to stay at Vine Cottage. We’re delighted to hear that you found the cottage comfortable and homely, enjoyed the décor and furniture, and that the Aga was a welcome treat during the colder days.
Thank you also for taking the time to share your helpful feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the sensor lights and extractor fans activating during the night and appreciate you bringing this to our attention — this is something we will look into to ensure a more restful stay for future guests. We also understand your comments regarding the garden; as you say, this can come down to personal preference, particularly when travelling with dogs, and we appreciate your honesty.
We’re really pleased to hear that these points didn’t detract from your overall enjoyment and that you would happily stay with us again. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back to Vine Cottage in the future.

A fantastic house
Vine cottage is a lovely place to stay. It was ideal for our family group ranging from 3 months to 65 years. Perfectly clean, very spacious and modern, beautifully furnished and very well equipped, it offered us everything we could ask for. We particularly loved the large dining area for our family meals. There is a garden for toddlers to play in and a very quiet park with swings next door. On-site parking for our three cars was so easy. I cannot find fault at all. They have obviously put a lot of effort into making it so comfortable. The location is also convenient for all the Cotswolds highlights. Thank you for our stay – we will be back.
