Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is up for sale so no updates were performed by the owner. The furniture is old, the floors were dirty, the internet was not working, the pots and pans were useless, the screened in porch was not usable, the crows nest was so hot no one could sleep there, the beach chairs were broken, no beach towels were provided. We had to purchase a frying pan, beach chairs and beach towels. We will not stay in this unit again.

Reviewer Comments: Our house Dreamscicle had many issues: furniture in living room very worn; the cleaning service had done a poor job - grass in bathtub; internet did not work; garbage disposal did not work; sink did not drain properly; back porch furniture was too dirty to sit on; screen was torn; golf cart would not charge. When I finally had enough and discussed with property management they did credit me back cleaning fee. We generally like the property and beach access/pool. We just had a bad house. Would recommend Martinique - not this house.

Great Thanksgiving Week Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had traveled to Alabama for the Samford/Auburn football game and decided to spend the week with friends in Gulf Shores. Having stayed previously at Martinique we chose it again and were not disappointed. The house, Seabreaze, was a great size for eight of us, especially with two bedrooms with king beds on the lower level. It was also very nicely appointed with all the kitchen utensils, glassware and other items needed. Also, we appreciated all the bikes and other items to use outdoors, as well as the screened in porch where we enjoyed dinners and morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

First time disappointed

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at Martinique six times over the last few years and I will continue to vacation there but I cannot highly recommend Seabreeze to stay at. It is outdated and needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, mattresses need replaced in all rooms and the carpet is disgusting! The doors and furniture were all very dirty and almost felt sticky. Several of the dishes were filthy. I'd give this house a 1 out of ten with 10 being the best. Although you can complain within one hour of check-in, this was not enough time to find all of these things and it really wasn't something a cleaning service could have fixed. My granddaughter crawled on the floor right after check-in and her knees and feet were turned black with dirt. My brother stayed in Bella Vue next door which we have also stayed in. It was 100 times better! Sorry for the negative review but I expected much better for the price!

Awesome house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of spring breakers: two families with five kids total. The bedrooms were great. Everyone had plenty of space and the three king beds made all the difference. Martinique is beautiful as always and the fishing off the beach was incredible. We lucked out with pompano and lots of photos to brag about them! We love being off the beaten path away from all the business of gulf shores and orange beach. The Beach Club’s grill next door was so convenient and really good. Lots of arcade games for the kids and a great menu and beer selection... other than that, we hunkered down and enjoyed the beach and pool the whole time. Loved the bikes and 6 seater golf cart with this house too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Seabreeze. It was a beautiful home on a beautiful property. Our one complaint was that the TV in the family room did not work. That was disappointing because we knew that we might be spending time indoors for our vacation because of the time of the year that we were visiting. We were hoping to watch movies together as a family. Through the course of our vacation, the TVs in two of the bedrooms stopped working also. The issue needed to be addressed with the cable company which did not occur during our stay. While it was disappointing to not have TV service, what was more disappointing was the lack of concern by the property management. They seemed unconcerned that we did not have TV service for the course of our stay.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Martinique for @ 10 years, Internet is always bad, it is NOT high speed! Overall it was a good stay, in this particular house the living furniture is in bad condition though and should be replaced for the price you pay. We found at least 5 dirty coffee cups that had been put back in the cabinet, not sure if that was the previous renters or the cleaning crew

St. Martinique Dreamscicle stay Week of April 2, 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We so enjoy coming to St. Martinique on the Gulf for our beach vacations! Overall, the stay was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard sitting area and the back porch! There were a few issues at the beach house that needed some attention...one issue was that the golf cart never fully charged. The last day we drove down to the beach via car. Another problem was that the toilet in the master bath downstairs was not securely bolted down. There were also some critters? that seemed to be scratching in the wall in the other downstairs bedroom. The carpet on the stairs seemed like it needed securing (not tacked down in places) and honestly seemed sticky and needed cleaning. Some of the furniture in the great room area needed cleaning or perhaps replaced. Even though the appliances in the kitchen were very nice, I was saddened to see that the cleaning crew didn't work harder to clean the almost brand new stove (smooth top) better.

Problems need attention

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The shower on second was clogged and needs attention. One chair in the living room broken and unable to use at all. Plus leg on table in dining room broken and needs fixing also. All the broken pieces were propped into place as if they were fine . Also, the mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced, it is sunk in and hard to sleep on. Other than the above problems the kitchen was wonderful and rest of house was fine. And clean.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beware this property floods. Water came up to kitchen door thru garage, up to the front door and from the back into the screened porch. Were told the owner is aware and will do nothing. Safety issues: stair handrails loose or broken, loose carpet on stairs, recliner broken, master bath commode loose from floor. NOT CLEAN: smelled of sour towels and body odor. Chocolate handprints on dining room chairs, throw rugs dirty and stained beyond cleaning, grill too dirty to use with no cleaning tools available. HVAC return vent was filthy. Third floor bedroom was so HOT it was UNBEARABLE. No AC just fans. Should not be booked as usable sleeping area.
