This cottage was perfect for a family get away! We went with our 2 dogs and our baby and it was so relaxing! The screened porch and seeing the birds every morning. It is nice and quiet and away from the road which was nice. The host even kept us updated about wildlife that was in the area since they knew we had our dogs. Would book again!

We love staying at Sunset Cottage! The hosts have really thought of everything, and have decorated the space very mindfully with local, curated art. There is really nothing better than sitting out on the porch and drinking coffee, listening to all the nature around. The location is isolated enough to be relaxing, but still close enough to several local restaurants and country stores that civilization is still in reach when you need it. This was our second year visiting and we will be back for sure!

It is a beautiful little camp where three of the Bomoseen herons breakfast close by. We had everything we needed and the host helped me retrieve a charger I left behind which was totally generous. We hope to be back next year! If anything, the hosts should add photos to make it look as great as it is. I was surprised to find it so lovely.

This cottage provided the peaceful retreat we were looking for. There was everything we needed, and then some, to make our stay completely comfortable. The screened in porch with comfy rocking chairs and swing made looking out on the waterlily lake and sunsets a special treat. Our host was immediately responsive and provided clear and accurate directions. There are many places to hike and kayak nearby. We recommend this cottage especially for a couple of travelers.

We stayed two weeks at Sunset Cottage, and really enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is quaint and very comfortable, with everything needed for our visit. Our time there was very peaceful and relaxing. The screened in porch was great for watching the birds and wildlife that was always present. We enjoyed filling the bird feeder to view the different birds, and loved seeing the blue herons. Then, of course, the 25 geese that fed near the dock numerous times.Our hosts, David and Lilah, were very responsive when contacted. They also provided all the information needed for our arrival and stay. We will definitely look at staying again when we come to the Vermont area.

Wonderful, cozy lakefront cottage

Great stay for our family! Charmingly decorated, very comfortable. Screened porch overlooking the lake, small dock for launching a canoe or kayak. Great hosts, helpful and communicative. Hope to visit again in the future!
