Pristine, exceptionally well-crafted apartment in a perfect location for seeing the main attractions of Edinburgh. Highly recommend and would stay again if in town.

Great location at the bottom of the Grassmarket, allowing easy access to the sights of the city. Apartment was one of the coolest places that I have ever stayed. Access to the apartment was dead simple, Jack provided the info and everything was easy peasy.

This studio was absolutely spectacular. It was immaculately clean and set up with everything you could possibly need. When it comes to location, this is truly remarkable. You are 10 steps away from everything.

The Porteous Studio apartment was conveniently located in the middle of Edinburgh. It has been beautifully renovated into a comfortable space. It was extremely efficient and had no television, which I loved! Some food and beverage was provided and made that a very nice welcoming touch. The only negative is the trash heap and collection location just outside the front door. And at 6:00 every morning you can hear the garbage men rolling the bins on the cobblestone through the alley to the garbage truck. (We live in the country and not necessarily used to that experience.) The host did provide ear plugs located next to the bed. Also be sure to communicate with Jack well in advance. But once we arrived, he was immediately available. A great stay in Edinburgh. Thank you Jack!
