Cette promenade sur la maison au bord de l'eau peut accueillir confortablement 6 à 8 personnes à proximité des commodités que la vallée de Comox a à offrir, mais loin de l'agitation. A great space for a family to gather!

Perfect for our family gathering! There is a spacious kitchen/ dining/livingroom area. Especially loved the location with the beautiful sandy beach! Great yard too. Our time flew by and no one wanted to pack up and leave! Would love to book again and stay longer next time!

Great little retreat!

We had a lovely time at this little cottage on the beach! Kye Bay is a special place. The cottage was clean, the beds were super comfortable, tons of storage, a large library of books (particularly kids books). Right on the beach. Bring water shoes to get across the rocks to the sand - which when the tide is out goes forever!

Exceptional in every way!

My son and his family needed a spot near our home in the Comox Valley, and this was just perfect. The beachfront location is wonderful for children, the house has everything one could need, and the host responds immediately. They really did hate to leave...always a good sign.

A lovely location and great cottage.

A lovingly cared for family get-away cottage. Our family enjoyed it a lot, other than the heat distribution to all rooms. At this time of year (which happened to be cold with snow) it was a little chilly, but our family did not mind as they bundled up & were outside most of the time.

Perfect

Beautiful, comfortable, cozy, homey house! All the amenities you would need for a short stay or long stay! I’ve been here for 3 months and extended my stay! The landlord is very kind, easy to reach for any question. I never tire of the stunning view, watching the birds and seals swim! Neighbourhood is quiet, beautiful daily walks on the beach. Most comfortable bed I’ve had in years! Highly recommend and definitely would stay here again!

Fantastic beach cottage!!!

We had a wonderful family vacation! We did not want to leave! The beach is beautiful with plenty to do, we rented a kayak and played in the water everyday, watched the sunsets. We and the pups all enjoyed the beach walks. We had many dinners outside and the yard was perfect for badminton. The cottage was well equipped, roomier than what the pictures project. The beds were very comfy. Jonathan the host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We will be back next year for sure!

So amazing!!

This was our third stay at Jonathan’s cottage on gorgeous Kye Bay Beach - and we have already booked to come back next year. :) It has become a much looked forward to and appreciated family tradition. Beach walks, sand and water play, board games, relaxing, almost all of our meals outside, kayaking, enjoying sunsets, 
.. couldn’t be better!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!

Belle vue

La maison est bien Ă©quipĂ©e pour passer quelques jours Ă  Comox. Le sĂ©jour est assez grand pour 5 ou 6 personnes. Quand il pleut, il est possible de passer la soirĂ©e devant un bon feu. Il manque peut-ĂȘtre une canapĂ© avec 2 ou 3 siege en plus pour que se soit vraiment confortable. Une salle de bain est un peu cut pour 5 personnes mais avec un schĂ©ma, c'est faisable. Le centre de Comox n'est pas loin pour faire des courses et l'environ est trĂšs calme. La vue est extraordinaire et c'est possible de faire des jolies promenades Ă  la plage.

Relaxing beach holiday

This was our second year in a row staying at Mile o' Sand and I hope we can come back for many more years! This cabin is perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing beach holiday on the beautiful Kye Bay. The cabin itself is amazing for families as there's great separation between the bedrooms and the common area is really nice and open with a wonderful big dining table for family to gather around. The property/yard feels very private and is literally Right. On. The. Beach!! Also feels like a luxury having in-suite laundry. Just left and already can't wait for our time at Mile o' Sand next year... It's a magical spot!

Our Favourite Summer Getaway

We are returning guests. The cabin is an older property but with every visit we are treated to an improvement in the fixtures or appliances. The living area is large and open, great for socializing. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are private and quiet. The yard faces the beautiful beach with lots of chairs to move around whether it be sun or shade you are looking for. The beach is the real gem. We have visited during all the seasons and have enjoyed the tide flats in all varieties of weather. We will make a trip to Miles'O'Sand whenever we are able.

Lovely Stay

Winter Get Away

2 week winter getaway from the cold and snow in Ontario. We loved the location on the beach for long walks and bird watching. The cottage was very clean and met all our needs. The location of the cottage was great for touring the island. Close driving to both Comox and Courtney. Host was very quick to reply to our questions. Would love to return again next winter. Small issue- grills on bbq need replacing.

Comox cottage

We spent 6 weeks at this clean, well equipped cottage from mid Oct to end Nov. It's very spacious and we enjoyed being right on the beachfront where we walked each day. Washer and dryer seemed very new, also the dishes and cutlery. Updated lighting, taps, fridge. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome! The host answered any queried we had promptly. Only negative would be that the stove is a bit old and wonky, I tried baking, but not very well... but it is a cottage, so... I would say this place would be a great spot for a summer family vacation.

So "Homy" full of senerity

Stayed 30 days and just did not want to leave! The place is more than I expected and Jo was on touch for all my questions. It was very rainy and demp so we warm up the cottage with the beautiful Large fire place often so Sorry Jo for using lots of wood, there was lots of rainy days and my Mom and my 2 old aunts was always cold. We love keeping warm with the fire place rather using the Heat funaise in the house. It was so perfect to provide the wood nicely cut and easy access. We will definitively recommend and visited again! Thanks Jonathan and your spouse, you have a warm and lovely place!

Great week at the beach!

Stayed at Kye Bay with my adult sons, their partners and my grandson. A fabulous week to create memories, enjoy the beach and ocean, and host outdoor visits with extended family. The cottage was exactly as shown with all of the space we needed. The beautiful beachfront location was second time none.

Family beach getaway

My family has been coming to Kye Bay every August for almost 30 years since my brother and I were toddlers. Well now we’ve got babies and dogs of our own and our group has outgrown our previous annual beach accommodations. Jonathan’s cabin was the perfect upgrade and met all our needs for the same week at the beach that we’ve come to know and love over the years. Amazing location, very private, on the beach side of the street and the dishwasher/laundry was a VERY nice addition. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed beach getaway in a funky old fashioned cabin with a few modern upgrades. We will definitely be back, thank you Jonathan!

This is a great place on a great beach if you enjoy water sports. Cottage was clean with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was a breeze.
