Great stay in Courtenay

It was spacious, clean and very well-appointed in a quiet residential neighbourhood. I would love to stay here again!

The place itself was ok, but felt weird to have a family living downstairs, and there was no access to washer/dryer. No one’s fault but it was hot as hell and the few fans were more noise than breeze. Good location, the dog enjoyed walking through the park across the street.

Great location, quiet neighbourhood

This property was great for a three generation get together for a few days. However, it would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit on the deck.

Great House

The house worked out very good for our needs. 3 decent sized bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and a well equipped kitchen to handle anything you want. Would recommend this unit.

We loved it!

There was so much attention to detail. Many nice small touches that make it feel like home. Clean, everything you need in a nice area.

The house was decent and comfortable but the place was advertised with a washer and dryer but had none we could find. The host was not responsive to my requests and didnt respond to questions asked during our stay. The master bedroom closet door was broken and the carpets needed cleaning.

Peaceful neighborhood

We stayed for a few nights for our boy's baseball tournament. The house was conveniently just a few minutes drive from most amenities. There was a nice trail system just outside, where we enjoyed a few leisurely walks in the forest. Inside was clean and modern, and a true joy to stay in.

Top half of house in Courtenay

Bright and modern space with lots of windows. On a quiet street with easy access to walking paths. Towels provided were dirty. No access to washer/dryer despite it being advertised. We attempted to reach the hosts a number of times during our three-night stay and did not get a response. We received automatic replies which did not address our questions.

Last Minute Stay

The upstairs apartment was very nice. The online listing says entire house but when you book it, it says you get the upstairs. There is no door to the upstairs besides the front door that also services the downstairs unit. This could be a safety issue and not very reasurring at night time. It was very clean and nicely furnished but seems new to short term rentals as kitchen just had basic stuff. The beds are comfortable but the bedding is lacking, needs a top sheet between you and the duvet cover (we went and bought one). It also shows a washer and dryer which we needed to use but we had to ask and it is in the locked downstairs unit so we did not use it. We did find the closet door broken and night stand also broken. We loved all the windows and it is nicely decorated. I'm sure if these things were changed it would be an amazing place to enjoy. We also walked through the nice nature area that is very close to the house. This review is to hopefully help the owners and not ment to be a negative review.
