Situé au milieu des collines dans un quartier trÚs calme dans la belle vallée de Carmel, est notre chalet trÚs privé et séparé AVEC UN LIT QUEEN. Un peu plus de 500 pieds carrés avec 2 terrasses extérieures privées donnant sur les collines de la vallée, notre chalet est à seulement 1 1/4 miles du centre de Carmel Valley Village qui regorge d'une impressionnante gamme de restaurants de qualité, salles de dégustation de vin, galeries d'art et de belles boutiques. Un trajet de 20 minutes sur une belle route de campagne vous amÚne à Carmel-by-the-Sea, considéré comme l'un des plus beaux villages et plages du monde entier. Un peu plus loin se trouve le Monterey Bay Sanctuary et Monterey Bay Aquarium, également considéré comme l'un des meilleurs aquariums au monde. Big Sur n'est qu'à une heure de route au sud sur la magnifique autoroute 1. Les autres attractions à proximité incluent Pebble Beach Golf Resort, Pt. Lobos State Reserve et Monterey Fisherman's Wharf ainsi que l'historique Cannery Row de John Steinbeck.

This Carmel Valley Studio was perfect for me and my partner’s stay. Close access to nearby restaurants and activities and the coast. We loved the peace and quiet that the remote studio offered and beautiful views. Thanks for the restful and rejuvinating stay as we begin the new year.

The place was cozy and warm. We loved the view and the easy access to downtown Carmel Valley, the beach and Garland Park. The kitchen was small but mighty. Who wants to cook a lot when on vacation? It was plenty for our needs. The balcony was lovely overlooking the owners very peaceful and zen garden. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and comforting. I loved the little table and stool in the kitchen overlooking the hills and the garden. I am a writer and would love to come back and spend a week writing and finding peace in this crazy world we live in.

Everythng about this place where s amazing! Comfortable bed, soft towels, equipped beds ed kitchen (only needs a good bread knife), the view is out of this world, the access to the apt, the whole place is magical.

Our host, Jenn, was very friendly and welcoming. The studio is a cozy, comfortable retreat if you want a getaway. We stayed for over a week and while we were ready to go home at the end, we were also sad about leaving. We highly recommend this venue!

Jen’s place is such an amazing private space to get away to recharge. It’s clean and all the necessities are available. This place is centrally located to all that Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur have to offer. We even popped over to Salinas one day easily from here.

Carmel Valley gave me the gift of stillness and beauty. From the apartment’s little garden, the mountains opened wide before me, a view so magnificent it felt otherworldly. Wind chimes drifted through the air like something heavenly, carrying a sense of peace you can’t quite put into words. The apartment itself was cozy and sweet—close to the charm of Carmel Village, yet nestled in a quiet place that felt worlds away. And Jen, the host, brought a warmth and kindness that made it all the more special.

Jenn's place was such a lovely getaway! The location was perfect in that it was a short 4-minute drive to Carmel Valley Village, and easy to get to surrounding areas as well. Our favorite part of our stay was sitting on the balcony sharing a bottle of wine overlooking the valley. The views simply can't be beat and we loved watching the hummingbirds soaring in and out of Jenn's garden each morning. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for during a weekend to recharge. We would love to come back!

Up in the hills, gorgeous view of Carmel Valley and greenery from nearly every window. The studio does overlook the owner's backyard (which is spectacularly landscaped, replete with water features, vines, fruit trees and plants galore), though the owners seemed to stay out of sight. Only downside is the view of the neighbor's house, which demands the kitchen blinds remain closed to maintain privacy. The studio is charming, well decorated and has super soft sheets and a comfortable bed. The back patio is a glorious place to unwind, sip your beverage of choice and listen to the multitude of birds.

Excellent location, feels peaceful and private but is also close to the Village and local attractions like Garland Ranch hiking. The views from the deck and from every window were spectacular. So many hummingbirds, hawks, and deer. We had a lovely relaxing time.

Wonderful weekend in Carmel

We stayed at the Valley View Studio and had a superb time! The location is the perfect distance from Carmel Valley- close to all the action, but quiet with no noise from the road etc, and STUNNING views from the porch! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful Location

The little cottage is filled with light and has everything you could need during your stay. The owner’s gardens are beautiful as is the view, at least most of it. The patio out back is a nice place to read and enjoy your coffee. If you are looking for solitude in nature you may be disappointed as the neighbor’s house has direct sight lines into your windows and the owners home is just feet away. Since neither the photos or the description make this evident I wanted to mention it for other solitude seekers. . Also the cottage is attached to the garage so every time she leaves or comes home you can hear the garage door and the dogs barking. That being said, the bed is super comfortable and it is very quiet other than that. I didn’t mind it all that much. I just wasn’t expecting the proximity.i felt a bit unwelcome due to the owner’s lack of response to an emergency that came up although she made it clear later that the only time she checks for messages is at night. She also was pretty angry that the website charged a lower rate and that I should have paid more. Not my normal VRBO experience . Not bad, just different.

Gorgeous mountain view!

Beautiful quiet mountain location. Clean, safe, comfortable with pretty decor. Sitting in the sun on the balcony and looking at the amazing view is so relaxing. Owner is really nice and helped me out when I had a travel problem. Easy drive to many parks and hiking and shopping.
