Wonderful property, great stay

Wonderful to be close enough to town yet be out in the country. Spacious house, lots of room for everyone and with a screened, wrap around porch, the evenings are nice.

This ranch was wonderful! It’s an older property with genuine wine country feelings. We loved the character of everything and especially the ducks on the property who would greet us every time we arrived. There were fans in every room and a AC in the owner/ suite. There were also a couple of TVs and everything you would need for your stay. I would love to come stay again but for longer next time.

Authentic Farmhouse Experience

The farmhouse was perfect for our weekend stay. There was plenty of room for our party of 12. The kitchen was well equipped and had all needed amenities. The decor was authentic to a farmhouse that has been in a family for over a century and the host included information on the properties history. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with century old trees and even some pet ducks and a pond. Highly recommend!

Christmas Getaway

This was a great house for Christmas. The spacious downstairs was ver accommodating for a Christmas dinner and family gathering. The Christmas tree and various decorations made it feel more festive. The property is beautiful and serene.

I'd stay again!

We love that the house has maintained its charm (although could use a wallpaper update). The managers were very responsive when we had questions. It's a beautiful piece of property. It's convenient to downtown and many wineries. Highly recommend!

Awe, thank you for your comments Laurie! We just upgraded the wallpaper in the upstairs bathroom as well as flooring! The rest of the wallpaper will stay for awhile as we enjoy the "charm" it brings to the house! I mean really, where else are you going to see that zoo/jungle wallpaper! LOL

Walla Walla Golf Outing 2020

The house is your classical ranch house with screened porches, formal dining and living rooms, and great bedrooms and kitchen. The grounds are beautiful with a back patio/cook area, and grass lounge are to watch sunsets.

A lovely place to spend the weekend

Our family loved this location - the covered porch was a great place to sit together and have coffee in the morning, as well as after dinner in the evening. The setting is very quiet and calm, and we enjoyed the peacefulness. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and we enjoyed the use of the fireplace. The finishes and fixtures of the house are old but we thought that was part of the charm. Would love to stay here again!

Great place for biking, wineries, and relaxing!

This large historic house was perfect for our large family group vacation. Lots of room for everyone to find privacy or hangout together. The porch was perfect looking out over the wheat fields, and the park-like grounds were great for barbeques, reading books, or a slackline competition! Close to town, but not in an area of high traffic makes this location perfect for launching bike sorties or visiting the nearby wineries.

Mother’s Day Weekend

Both of our moms were so thrilled with this beautiful farmhouse and it’s setting. They could both sit out on the porch for hours watching the ducks and geese enjoying the pond. The house is spacious and accommodating for a large group.

Family Visit

We spent 4 days visiting our daughter at Whitman. The house is a classic, historical farm house with plenty of room, including for our dog. The location is a short walk to the Southside wineries and a 5-10 minute drive to just about everything in Walla Walla. Nice and quiet at night. Overall, a lovely stay.
