"Banyan Beach" - Profitez des magnifiques couchers de soleil sur le golfe depuis les vastes ponts enveloppants situés aux deux niveaux de cette maison absolument magnifique et récemment rénovée de Cape San Blas.

Cette spacieuse maison de 3 chambres à coucher, 2 salles de bain dispose de magnifiques plafonds cathédrale et poutres apparentes dans le salon / salle à manger et la suite principale. Belle cheminée en dalles et planchers de bois franc dans le salon. Les portes coulissantes du salon s'ouvrent sur une terrasse couverte offrant de nombreux sièges. Il y a un canapé-lit double dans le salon. Sectionnel en cuir comprend deux fauteuils inclinables.

Cuisine, salles de bains, couloir et buanderie ont un nouveau sol en carrelage. La cuisine a tous les nouveaux appareils et est généreusement stockée. Les deux chambres du niveau principal ont des lits queen-size et des lits jumeaux. Belle suite principale à l'étage supérieur a un lit king-size, avec double vasque et placards dans la salle de bain principale. Toutes les chambres sont équipées de nouvelles télévisions avec DVD et télécommandes, d’une horloge / radio, d’un téléphone et de portes vitrées coulissantes donnant sur le pont. Il y a aussi une buanderie carrelée de céramique au deuxième étage.

Située à un peu plus de 100 mètres de la plage, cette maison dispose de nombreuses places de stationnement pour les bateaux et les jet-skis. Elle se trouve à proximité du point de lancement public du parc national. Banyan Beach est aménagé de manière professionnelle et dispose d'une douche extérieure chaude et froide et d'un barbecue au charbon de bois. Idéalement situé à proximité des épiceries et des magasins divers du Cap, mais à seulement 20 minutes des autres magasins de Port St. Joe ou 30 minutes des restaurants et des boutiques d'Appalachicola.

Just because this property is not directly beachfront,it is only steps to the beautiful beach, it may be the nicest on Aruba Drive.The property was extremely clean very well stocked and the pictures don’t do justice to the size of the property. I cannot thank the owner enough for making this a perfect family vacation!

The owner was very responsive to an issue with a toilet not flushing correctly and somebody was there to fix it the following day. The house inside was nice but needs a deep clean. The bed skirt in the first bedroom has a stain that can’t be missed when making the bed. In the master bedroom there were feathers and an uncrustable wrapper on the floor at the head of the bed. Thick dust and cobwebs on the fireplace mantel. I cleaned these myself as I always leave a house cleaner than I found it and feel housekeeping should have caught these in a routine inspection after guests checkout. The description claims the house is newly renovated and has new appliances. I don’t find this to be true. The pictures the owners have showing the view from the second deck claims you can see the sunset over the gulf. This picture is pre 2007. Many houses now block that view. Just check google earth history and it will confirm this timeline. Description also claims professional landscaping. There is no landscaping. The decks are questionable in many areas and the stair railing is wobbly. The chairs on the first deck near the entry door were very wobbly and not really usable. I personally would not rent this house again.

I wanted to take a moment to respond to your review. We take every review, good and bad, seriously. I do not agree with your assessment as to the cleanliness of the property. Before your arrival, every surface of the house was cleaned and dusted including all furniture, mantle, tops of TV's, bedframes, ceiling fan blades, the baseboards, and even the top of the refrigerator. I know this because I did all of this myself. My wife and I were the last people in the house before your arrival and no one cleans a property like the owners. There were no cobwebs on the mantle when we left. It is possible that we missed a wrapper behind the headboard against the wall. Both the refrigerator and stove were purchased in November of 2025. Yes, that was an older picture on the listing and it has been removed. Landscaping comes every two weeks except in the winter months and they were at the property on 04/08. If the house was accidentally skipped on it's next scheduled maintenance, I apologize. Just like with the toilet, which I'm not sure why was not flushing correctly since we used it the entire week prior, if you had any issues on arrival, all you had to do was contact me. The cleaning company we usually use lives on the cape and could have been there in 10 minutes to address any concerns, including picking up the wrapper, that you encountered.

Wonderful Beach House

Banyan Beach house is even better than the pictures. It is spacious and so well stocked with plenty of nice pans, dishware, coffee cups, flatware and cooking utensils along with both a keurig and a Mr. Coffee maker. There are extra blankets and pillows to select from choose from.

We enjoyed our stay at Banyan Beach House so much. The house is so spacious with decks all round. The swing on the deck is just heavenly. Location is a plus. A very, very short walk to the beach! We were surprised to receive such a bad review from you concerning your stay considering the guests before you left 5 stars. We value all of our guest reviews. In all of our correspondence, including the rental agreement and entrance instructions, we ask that if anything needs our attention to please let us know immediately. We never heard that anything needed addressing. Unfortunately, some guests cause damage and then try to hide it. We have an excellent maintenance team that lives on the cape and could have addressed any of your needs including repairing the closet door. We did not put any notes in the property about not closing the bedroom doors. We have no idea what that means. I'm sorry that the previous guest did not clean up after their dog. In fact, they didn't even indicate that they were bringing a pet. If they had, housekeeping would have walked the decks to make sure that no accidents were left. Dog waste on the deck is unacceptable. If you had let us know, we could have sent someone to remove it for you, the same with the stains on the carpet. I do appreciate the information on the leak. I will have maintenance inspect the window in the kitchen for possible leaking. All we ask is that if something requires our attention, we are allowed to remedy the situation before leaving a bad review. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

Family Gathering Place by the Sea

Our whole family enjoyed a long weekend in Cape San Blas. The house is exactly as depicted. The master bedroom and bath was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had every thing needed. The only reason not 5 stars was that it is not ocean front. A new house under construction blocks the view of the Gulf But from the upper deck still got amazing views of the sunset. We were a little concerned that because pets are allowed there might have been pet odors but I have to say that if I had not read that pets were allowed we would never have even guessed there had ever been animals in the house. A very good choice for our family. Just a short easy walk to the beach and only about a block from a Trading Post that stocks groceries, tackle, and liquor. I can see us coming back some day. Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a nice and fair review of our property. We try very hard to make sure that everything is perfect for your stay. If they asked me, I wouldn't allow any new construction on the cape. But, I guess everyone wants to come and enjoy the area. The new house is located diagonally and about 100 feet from our property so it at least it doesn't block too much of the view. Thank you for staying with us and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Not bad needs updating

Starting out Property manager had very good communication but when it came time to check in there was no update and we were stuck outside of the rental for almost 2 hours. The property manager would not answer his phone and customer service was no help whatsoever in fact they were awful it was so bad that we thought we were getting scammed because we've never used to be VRBO before. After multiple tries we finally got ahold of the property manager and we were able to get our key to get in. The stay at the beach house was nice but it needs a lot of updating and TLC it wasn't the cleanest so I spent most of the time sanitizing when we first arrived. We also felt uncomfortable being on the deck because there were a few banisters that weren't attached and it seemed like the deck would fall apart. As far as location it is in the best spot only a 3 minute walk from the beach. Other than that my family and I had a great time and there is a lot of room in this rental.

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As I stated on the phone, the directions and lock-box codes are set up to be sent automatically through the VRBO system. I apologize again for the glitch in the system as obviously they were not sent. However, according to my call history, the first phone call I received from you was at 5:17 p.m. I returned the at 5:20 p.m. to which I gave you the codes and apologized profusely for you not getting the information beforehand. I'm not sure what you mean about the deck. There are over 300 bannisters on the decking. And yes, they can occasionally become loose due to the wind. We check them before every new guest arrives. If you would have called or emailed, I could have had maintenance out there in 10 minutes to address the issue. We try very hard to make sure that everyone enjoys their stay at our property. Not sure if the large seashell put down the garbage disposal, or the towels ruined with what appears to be makeup is retaliation for not getting the lock box code ahead of time, but I will address those issues also.

Very spacious living and eating areas. Great for large family. Easy access to beach and Weber's Little Doughnut Shop.

The property features two levels of wrap-around decks. This makes for a great opportunity for family to relax and spend time together. This is also one of the few dog friendly beaches on the Florida coast.
